Certainly a governor can't be the one to formally speak on defection when the party at the National level says otherwise and even the Wards these members belong to can take the stance of the governor if we intend to follow the way of the law.

I hear the Simplified movement is on their way to the court with no substantial evidence according to law to prove the purported televised defection of the 27 RSHA legislators. PDP National does not have a formal letter of defection received by them and there's no formal formal proof of them being members of the APC other than what the populace was shown. It is now being regarded as a stunt.
I look forward to the High Court Judge in RS and what evidence will be shown him and what judgement will be given by him.
I intend to see where this academic work will lead to.

That is how it ought to be and that is the law. The law does not recognize care taker LG chairmen or even using any civil servant be it head of service or LGC to head over the LGAs.

Wike has really reduced Fubara to nothing in Rivers. Take a look at how just a local government chairman is talking and speaking to a seating governor of his state - his supposedly boss! Honestly, Fubara has to really increase his strength to fight Wike for his emancipation and rightful possession of power in Rivers.

Fubara is the only Governor in the history of Nigeria that an ordinary local government chairman or a mere Commissioner will openly insult simply because they think they have the support of the president.

The president should be reminded that Fubara is an Ijaw man. If he doesn't caution Wike or play neutral, the problem will consume the whole of Nigeria and it will cripple oil production in the Niger Delta region.

When the time reach we will be told who are the Ijaws and who will make oil production cripple in Niger Delta. The real Ijaws don't write such things in social media.

There's no body in Rivers State that will want to fight the FG if Fubara is impeached. Everyone is attending to their surveillance contracts. The names of those who are the people who are only needs to be submitted to the appropraite authorities. No man will want to fight for another man when he is already feeding big from a largeese ill-gotten.

Watch the video...Fubara camp found out in court that their national party PDP had filed a suit against their claim that the 27 are no longer members of the PDP. PDP HQ is claiming that the defection we saw on TV was a rumour and the 27 are bonafide members of the PDP.

I have watched the video. It is an interesting one indeed. The G60 leader dodged some questions though. He is ascertaining that the Lawyer used is a private lawyer......I don't really know what he plans to achieve by that. Even presidential candidates who go to court get the services of private lawyer(s).
The party is not on a path of self sabotage but correcting the anomaly of people who think they understand politics. This is politics. Everyone will learn be it for or against.

The 27 members of the Rivers state house of assembly individually and voluntarily wrote and signed their letter of defection and it was read on the floor of the house. As at the time of this defection there was no known division within the party.

The announcement of the PDP national headquarters can not change this fact.

He is like the governor of a state and fully in charge of security apparatus to squash the activities of these senseless hooligans causing mayhem on a daily basis. There's no more competent fellow that can achieve what the Honourable Minister and former Governor in the person of HE Nyesom Wike in this present time and circumstances we find ourselves as a people.
Whether you like him or not there is not yet one person given the time. With what he has done, given the time frame and bureaucracy and botle necks he has achieved much more than those before him and even virtually all the State govenors put together in about 5 geographical zones out of 7 if I'm not mistaken. He will maintain an unbeaten record for projects delivery with set time frame.

I have been saying for years that I strongly suspect Dangote Corporation is owned by colonizers, and Aliko Dangote is just a figurehead to deceive Nigerians.

There's NO way though that Heineken Lokpobiri wouldn't have known that cheap crude shipments are on the way from the United States because it's been reported in the global media on sites such as Bloomberg and other international sites that I regularly visit which are devoted to reporting global energy issues. The newspaper publication may have misrepresented him here. It's either he meant that he wasn't aware of imported crude oil that has recently landed in Nigeria for Dangote. I will have to see the full video of the comments Heineken Lokpobiri made to really be sure that the newspaper isn't misrepresenting his words. A lot of newspapers and Journalists usually misrepresent people's live comments from time to time, NOT just in Nigeria but globally.

Dangote Refinery can always complement crude oil sourced from Nigeria with cheaper crude oil sources from the U.S. and even TotalEnergies is also gearing up to supply Dangote with crude oil. As long as the pump price of fuel is cheaper than it is now, and Dangote Refinery is able to declare profits, then all is well.

So you are saying that the US crude is cheaper to import and then refine when compared to the refinery that is situated in Nigeria buying Nigerian crude and refining!!!!?

So why would anyone sane mind invest in Nigerian crude to refine?

I will only say except the Minister is trying to say that Dangote's refinery is yet to get the US crude. Otherwise it seems he is either telling the President that he does not know the operational reason behind the refinery and where it intends to get it's crude from and by that saying there will be no import duties on such crude.

So be it the FCT Minister is in Abuja or not he is not the one who is the NPF, NA, NAF, NN, DSS, NIA, NSCDC, etc, etc, whose work is to ensure that criminals are taken off the streets within their domain for that is the reason they were employed in the first instance. They are the ones who enforce the laws and not the FCT.

As it turns out, we are overpopulated beyond our our means. Or how do you explain the obvious fact that we can't even feed ourselves? Unemployment everywhere because our resources are overstretched.
My Dad got his first job on the day of his graduation in the 70s. That was a time our national resources are proportional to our population.
If you want to be honest with yourself, to raise for children averagely comfortably in Nigeria of today, you have to be earning nothing less half a million a month.
While I think the FG should increase the minimum wage to about a hundred thousand or above, it is very important as citizens to do our own part.
Uncontrolled explosion in population is already having its effect on us as a nation with the inherent unemployment, rising insecurity and hunger. We can't keep breeding like rats and hoping somehow money will fall from somewhere to take care of them.

The only problem in Nigeria's population is that even the working population especially those in civil service from FG, States and LGA are unproductive. The government needs to ensure they put them to proper work rather than downsizing. There are institutions, ministries, agencies, parastatals, commissions, that are for revenue generation, the government should put them in order by doing the right thing. Even the ministry of agriculture is a whole lot a plave for IGR but the government is lacking in driving realistic and achievable ideologies to ensuring the nations true economic growth.
As a developing nation, we are yet to harness the resources of the nation and putting the derivates of such to usefulness.

Community policing is what state should fund.

That is why it is now a good thing that a greater number of the States have now agreed to State Police and with that they will put such monies for it's finding.
We also look forward to same being done by the Local Government Areas, there they can have the so called Community Police.
