nairavsdollars:The same person who said he would go on self exile after the court case for presidential election is still here with the fellow masses. This is one of the reasons it's never good to speak always even when given the opportunity. All the things that PMB during his tenure will he be remembered for or the PDP who ruled for 16 years will say all that PMB achieved were nothing but that which PGEJ initiated and did not actualize. A confab report that the mighty PDP could not implement, for reasons best known to them. We certainly live in a hypocritical atmosphere. Whether we maintain the pattern of governance practiced or changed , I think and believe the respective State Governors and their Stata Assembly are responsible for creating more LGAs within their domain and the FG has no logical reason whatsoever to stop them. After all this is the same thing that BAT as governor then did in Lagos State that made Baba Olusegun fought him and refused him State allocations for several months. Baba Bode George have silently hidden from the fact that there's hardly a single State governor who has agreed that the LGA run autonomous because they the State governors don't always remit the full allocation sent by thr FG to the LGAC. So what do you think will also happen if then the State governors are allowed to create more LGACs which in itself is a good thing but when they refuse to fund them? Many LGACs are only there for the reason to pay salaries and nothing else. |
afam4life:okay, thanks. |
shariff84:Please is it true that there's no rice in Nigeria that the rice we get are from Nigeria Republic and it's not coming forth because of the border closure? Just asking because someone was told this in my area and the person was thinking of going into rice trading. |
politicoNG:All these they have not done when their very own was president.... They have never come out publicly to condemn banditry, kidnapping, killings, terrorizing, herdsmen rampage, bandits holding villages to hostage and collecting security levies..... They have never tried to ensure the almajari system is abolished as if Nigeria is the only muslim country in the world...... Now that a Southerner is a president they are speaking, this same people who don't want a Southerner to become a FCT minister. The north is Nigeria's foremost problem. Do away with them and their mentality and a problem is partly solved. |
ebubeson:The answer you seek is written in 1 Corin 9:13 and you can add verse 14 where Apostle waived his rights. Remember the levitical priesthood consists of those priests who are into singing and use of instrumentals, incense burners and not only the high priest who enters the holy of holies. The levitical priesthood system was not completely abolished but evolved to what we have as Ministers(Ministry). |
GuruboiNaija:This senator is biting more than she can chew. Its high time she puts off this northern attitude and mentality and behave well before the FCT minister will take her up like he tackles men. If there's an increase in kidnapping in the FCT its because those who feel a Southerner can't become their Minister and want to prove a worthless point. They are making mediocre of themselves. The North and her muslims have refused to stop bandits and their operations because they feel cows are better suited to live than humans. The NDM and NDDC have positions occupied by people from the North and the South have not talked down any of them. If the senator has any good plan on how to assist the minister to keep FCT safe let her tender her spiral binded notes and forward to him. It's high time her Northern counterparts call her to order or they should also explain why there's still a serious security challenges in their regions for more than 20 years. After all they have been ruling this Nigeria more than any order tribe and occupying all the juicy positions and there's absolutely nothing good worth celebrating them for. |
chiedu7:Children stories. So it's only your aunty that worked in BP that has access to this information and also saw where those places oil was found were all closed up. Please kindly mention those States in Igbo land that oil was found? So late Ojukwu and Zik of Africa was also privileged to this information and everyone kept quiet...... |
fuckJones:The above you quoted is not in relation to Tithe giving but with respect to offering submission. Nevertheless, there are categories of Pastor(s), kindly permit. One are those who are the General Overseers of the Ministry the Lord gave them and there are those who are Pastors who are shepherds of the local church assembly within any Ministry. Now the General Overseers are supposed to pay Tithes and also pay Tithes of Tithes....... depending on how each one understands the Scripture and his work with God and i believe they also know whom/where to give the Tithe just as Abraham knew whom to give his Tithe. All other Pastors working within any particular ministry pay their Tithes to their respective churches. I think if not all ministries , they deduct the tithes from the amounts given to the Resident Pastors before payment (allowances/wages) depends on what name ia given to it. |
Nairaland1stson:Your suspicious are legitimate. (1) Don't give out cash because payment was done via the Debit card. (2) If need be refund the money back into the same account that it was sent from and none other. (3) Inform your bank of your suspicion and let them give a response . All this should be via email so you know that the bank is duly notified. (4) If you have a lawyer friend whom you can confide in then do so and seek advice and tell the person that he/she would be your lawyer to represent/defend you should the issue turn to be as you suspected if the security officers come looking for you. (5) Pray to God. (6) Whatever you're not comfortable with don't bend to it because the consequences may be dire. Christmas is approaching, don't fall a victim to another's fraudulent acts. The police is never your friend if they come looking for you. (7) Your taking pictures of these people may not necessarily help you if the Debit card/ATM card does not belong to them and maybe it's a victim they had kidnapped or even murdered. |
Jewessgratitud3:It is wrong and deceptive if you do it. Your Tithe is paid to God but the Church where you are blessed spiritually and fed is the custodian of it. |
cutecommend:Anyone who values the salvation of God through Christ Jesus upon his life will think well before indulging in sin. You can't make caricature of the death of Christ Jesus and not get burnt by the devil. Yea the Lord is long-suffering and merciful but the devil is not. Anyone who understands the realms of the spirit will not indulge in acts of sin. |
abc115:If this is what they want to do with such money then it just shows that the FG is very well ill advised. How can you ask for social registers from SG who cannot share palliatives of food commodities given to them appropriately during the last floods. There is nothing good in this that will alleviate the perils of the common man out of the present challenges whatsoever. |
Islie:You take #2Million Naira of tax payers money on a 2 weeks vacation and because it's being made public you're saying you and your colleagues will take action against leadership... Well, Nigerians ought to know how much are really your entitlement because there's absolutely no work been done in your capacity that betters the livelihood of the ordinary man. |
Kobojunkie:You have answered the question about baptism. Try not to get yourself confused. Jer 2:13: the fountain of living water is same in the Old and New Testament. God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, God the Holy Spirit. They are ONE and they are meant to achieve one purpose. |
Kobojunkie:Apologies.... Please kindly explain the concept of the water baptism as proclaimed by John the Baptist..... Dont just quote Scripture. Explain in your English what he says....... |
Michael547:You can share about your denomination.....feel free. |
Kobojunkie:(1) Yes.... (2). Jesus Christ did not come with religion. Religion is man made. (3) It is if you don't continue in sin....born again simply means "complete repentance" not partial. |
Michael547:Denominations don't go to heaven or hell but individuals... Our names are not written against our denominations in the book of life or book of death.... |
Kobojunkie:That verse has nothing whatsoever to talk about water baptism in literal meaning. If you don't truly understand the concept of water baptism you'll never understand what that particular verse is.....to be born of water and Spirit...... The Holy Bible is not a literature book. |
Michael547:Explain to me first what I said about baptism, let me be assured you understood my statement. Your statement seems like JW follows the Bible way of baptism.......well, just you know, a man being religious does not in any way make such approved of by God. |
Hanndye:What is being practiced now is not what was practiced by the early Christians as contained in the Holy Bible. Every ministry has their own doctrines practiced as believed to come forth from the Holy Bible. Jehovah Witness is a sect of their own and not of God. Jesus did not say all who come to Him has learned from Him........ It is come to Him and learn. There should be a willingness to learn and even that does not mean one has learned or is learning from Him. |
Hanndye:Gal 3:27 does not really talk about a literal baptism being done if that's what you mean. It's more of a spiritual thing. Now if you take it to be literal/physical(by the letter), we all know that it's not all who are baptized that have put on Christ Jesus. Yes, you can have an assumption but it's not all. When you have said to have put on Christ Jesus, it means you are completely dead to sin. That is who Jesus Christ. The one who beareth the sin but yet without sin. There's a skewed definition about who a Christian is that we have all come to accept which is a complete deviation from what's in the Bible. I am very such you know where the name of christian originate and I also know you're aware of the reason it came forth through the mouth of an unbeliever addressing the early apostles. A man does not put on Christ because he undergoes baptism. No, that's unscriptural from my own understanding. Amongst many other interpretations, baptism is symbolic and an open declaration of the faith you have come to accept. The immersion in the water is symbolic that one is completely dead to sin(s) and the coming out of the water is that the individual is now renewed. Like I said this is just all symbolic to your accepted faith. That is why after one receives an altar call, he/she goes through discipleship class(foundation class for new convert) and made to understand what it entails to become a Christian and live as same. It is after this process that you go for baptism.... at least that's what's practiced.... |
Kobojunkie:What is your understanding of what it means to be born again or be saved(to have received salvation)? Please use the Bible verse as quoted by Jesus Christ... |
Kobojunkie:What you can't comprehend you'll never understand. |
YungTemy:No matter what religion one claim to be of, you cannot worship God without first to have acknowledged Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the giver of God's Salvation unto mankind. He is our Saviour and Lord. If you miss Him, you miss God's Salvation for your soul. Read this verses well and ask yourself if Isam is of God to bring Salvation.... These verses below talks about Islam and what it entails.... Gal.4.21 - Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? Gal.4.22 - For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. Gal.4.23 - But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, Gal.4.24 - which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar-- Gal.4.25 - for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children-- Gal.4.26 - but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. Gal.4.27 - For it is written: "Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband." Gal.4.28 - Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. Gal.4.29 - But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. Gal.4.30 - Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." Gal.4.31 - So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. |
Kobojunkie:If you read Scripture and can still say there's nothing tangible to be taken from it then it clearly shows either you are completely blinded in understanding (literal and spiritual) or possibly you're full of deceit and mischief just like Satan. |

It is not I who said that God did not promise them His kingdom but nairaland's Kobojunkie who goes around the platform doing the work of his master who is full of deceit. |
Expanse2020:They will make heaven if they died in the Lord. There's a reason why Jesus spoke about the parable of the rich man and the poor man who both died. One found himself in Hell and the other I guess you already know. The rich man was even begging Abraham......... Understanding the Scripture is paramount to the wholesome believe and faith of the Christian. Matt.27.52 - and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; Matt.27.53 - and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. I hope you understand what the above Bible verse means. It's simple. There are other verses as proofs also but it all depends on your level of understanding to accept them. |
Kobojunkie:May the Lord be merciful to you for your lack of understanding of His Word. |
Hanndye:That Altar-Call is a confession of sins unto a profession of repentance and upholding of the new faith, which by those words is bound on you as a new believer welcomed into the vineyard of God the Father through His Son Christ Jesus. The essence of the Baptism is a public declaration that you have accepted Christ Jesus and your Saviour and Lord over your life and you are now to be counted as members who have been delivered from darkness into His marvelous light of Jesus Christ. All these are Scriptural and you can't do otherwise for it is an obedience we ought to keep. |
FreeStuffsNG:What manner of black mail are you talking about? Did anyone force his mouth when he spoke those words? If he truly has even the slightest form of integrity he would recommend another to take that ministerial position given to him. If you feel that there are no first class brains, intellect, experience and can do spirit of lesser age then it shows the level of our degredation. |
