Dannyset:In theory that's what it does. In practice in the field it's actually not been used to it's full purpose. That's the reason why you'll still see the smart card reader. |
mufutau55:E mean say....... The toilet seat was placed on the floor without the tiles underneath. Now the owner wants to lay the tiles on the floor before placing the toilet seat. Though his explanation did not say how the cement got on top of the lid of the toilet seat. |
Dannyset:The only way BIVAS can terminate malpractice and rigging is when the device can actually authenticate and validate voters' finger print and facial recognition. |
KolaShangOne:A good builder/engineer creates setbacks in the absence of non.....or probably those who decided to create their own setback are probably just doing what is not acceptable. |
KolaShangOne:What do you mean by no setback rule!!! I hope you're are not one of those building security/gate house on a fence wall all in the name of no setback rule..... |
Kwanza:If only people will read in between the lines of his statement. All these fellows are playing a game of maintaining relevance forever. In saner climes former presidents keep to their private lives after exit from office but in Nigeria it's always reverse. |
dre11:When one thinks there are bright brains at the CBN, more insane statements still comes out from such place. Since the inception of this CBN governor, nothing useful to the Nigerian economy or naira has been seen or gotten. May the next one not be an embarrassment of such fine institution. |
oshozondii:I am a better candidate because of my track records, I have produced many people, starting from councillors, house of assembly members, Senate, Reps. and governors, yet they are pointing accusing fingers at me. The bolded alone speaks for itself. Is there any candidate who can beat this. Because all those that he brought onboard have their track records speaking for them be it you like them or not. Certain times sentiments should be thrown into the dustbin. If one man can without hassle bring Lagos to development without OBJ giving him state allocation it talks of how sensible he is. You don't need to like him to speak the truth. |
ArewaNorth:If for any reason the CBN governor wants to venture into full time politics he should first start by trying to get the governorship form in his home state like the former governor in the person of Gov. Charles Soludo or he can start by becoming a local government chairman. Trying to become a president in Nigeria is like biting more than what he can chew. |
beerfraud:If truly Pa Edwin Clark is a Stateman and a Patriotic one then he should set an example by first telling th PDP which is his party to without any form of feet dragging give the the presidential ticket to the South East and let those in the PDP who are of that zone should do the needful. He should also remember the APC is not a party to that arrangement since the South East have bluntly spoken that the APC is a fulani party and by their stand they don't even have a formidable crowd in the party to seize a ticket. |
Reading from the comments and by the new law by INEC on the issue of consensus candidate do you think anyone can force the Jagaban to append his signature to such thing even if they find something incriminating to hang him on because that may be their next line of action and would PMB agree to that. Meanwhile note that the GEJ strategy planners have already failed and that already is a past issue. Those saying Gov. Dave Umahi made a foolish mistake should have a rethink because as long as Gov. Wike remains in PDP he has the teeth to bite whatsoever is not in his favour and anything not in his favour coming 2023 he will not use the state machinery in anybody's favour. So what may likely happen is a 50/50 or 60/40 voting of the electorates be it real or the polimagic. |

Okay. Flooding it is. Just to let you know which I do know you know.....erosion is eroding of the soil and it only applies to farmlands for agricultural produce. |
sonnie10:Are you trying to talk about flooding because I'm trying to understand the effects of erosion in a properly built environment....... |
BiigTee:Semi hard wood of complete 2*3 is what's needed no matter the weight of a POP. |
dawnomike:@StilmanVsBorn2w It's not just only in Igbo culture but most areas within the south south. It's acknowledged by you and her people knows that you have the intention of getting married to her. So invariably what they are telling you to do is to come and pay the dowry of you truly want this child. This is not about a tribal issue. If you're sincere with yourself and if your mom or anyone from your place will tell you the truth, it's also applicable in your own place, that if you want to lay claim to the child. |
propertyhunter1:A full plot is sufficient enough to give you that which you desire. In which State is the plot located and is it within a city, town or village...... knowledge of that can aid to the cost of construction. |
somehow:I deliberately stated Luke 17:1. Certainly God is all knowing. |
somehow:Why would any sane person build a storey building of any sort without introducing appropriate columns/pillars in a time when even bungalows are built with columns irrespective to f soil type....... |
somehow:It is easy to say so about Judas and destiny. This is the part that's not really read and understood. "Offences will come but woe to him through which it will come." |
somehow:Those over zealous ones are like the Pharisees and Sadducees. They should all thoroughly behave like Nicodemus and not be living sanctimonious ways. Anyone claiming to be a Christian should strive to have the virtues of Christ Jesus for it is because of the knowledge of Him that His disciples the early apostles were first called Christians. Remember Scripture says another had to take the place of Judas Iscariot because he was not befitting to be counted as one of them. |
twinskenny:Those who understands the concept of any religion ought to know that it's all man made. Integrity is a virtue that makes one to ensure the right thing is done at all times given any situation. |
somehow:Would you still say same about Judas Iscariot given your above statement....... The man through whom the message comes from may not necessarily be the issue but the hearer of the message. One thing I've come to realize in the built environment is that any contractor who is too known to sweet talk clients is likely going to fall into trouble with the clients. |
propertyhunter1:As you love a big sitting room I hope you also love a bigger bedroom given the plot size...... |
somehow:The name of a church or where a man goes to have fellowship does not make a man have integrity. God does not even value any man who does not have integrity. |
temi4fash:In engineering construction the only way to ascertain what is right is to take it to the lab and run the appropriate tests. Every other thing is opinion based. There was a time people use caliper to randomly check the size. |
rotecch77:Please if you do come about the price per sqm for suspended ceiling kindly let me know..... Thanks. |
beejay1:Before you start having issues with your engineer or we come later hear say him no be engineer but baba lati........ Please can you drop the actual quote on how that sum would be spent by him or except he just gave you a lump sum figure......... Thanks |
n3xt:O yes I do know. But to be honest it's hard to actually know where your role in his build is now that there is an issue.......... Engineer Supervisor Builder Consultant Contractor Facilitator Project Manager Etc, etc..... |
n3xt: ![]() And you're the main contractor and also received supervisor fees for all works as it regards the carcass....... ![]() |
n3xt:The so called supervisor on the client's payroll if I get it right was brought by you and be it the client pays directly to him or indirectly through you then...... If that's the case then you are also responsible for whatever issues that is being dragged here with respect to the pipe blockage and substandard use of same. |
I wasn’t at the site to see the blocked pipes so I wouldn’t know what caused the blockage neither can I presume what the cause could be. The only way a pipe can be blocked is if concrete found its way into it which can only occur during when the decking was receiving concrete...... So whoever was responsible for such over site functions/duties should be asked to explain what occurred in the number of days it took to achieve casting of decking to completion. |
n3xt:Bosun handled it as the supervisor and as the contractor paid for as part of the carcass contract... The above is the response from somehow. At n3xt...... While the contention of the reason behind using substandard cable pipes....... Please can you be so kind to tell the forum who actually was on site during the concrete pouring of the decking slab and was the person who did the piping also on site or who also actually okayed the piping works before the concrete pouring on the decking was commenced........... |
