Another corruption case, another British Police involvement. It took their intervention to jail Ibori, while Alam got the a golden handshake from the President. We can keep deceiving ourselves in this country... |
Just to correct some mistakes, That is not the picture of the robot and it is also not the first in Africa. The main person involved in this project is a Nigerian guy called Murphy Ray on Youtube. |
Running a state like a fiefdom, 163 + Special Advisers. I'll be surprised if there's no position for Head Driver, Asst. Head driver, Head Cook, Head Sweeper... Sigh. |
This info has been out in the public domain for a while, Nigerians however are under some sort of spell. Unless its about increase in petrol costs, fight for minimum wage or increase in price of garri, they've sadly adopted 'na so e be' posture. Little wonder, we can get robbed plainly in the form of hyperinflated salaries and bogus oil subsidy receipts yet not a hoot from the public. Apart from the furore about child bride, I think everything else goes. |
Gaggi: Shut up, u dreamer. It happened at Funky Buddha, an upscale celebrity club in London. A place where ur likes ain't allowed into. Liar! You ever been to Funky Buddha mate? Learners chatting shit on the Internet. This was a £350 Swaroski encrusted version. |
From the mouth of the same Dokubo that eulogised Osama Bin Laden. I am now convinced your humanities has been slowly ebbed away. A case of State Certified Pedophilia and some b@stards here justify it also. WTF! |
This country is a joke, there's more chance of pigs flying than achieving any glimmer of constant power. |
Ok let's get a few things straight, the total fleet size of the presidential fleet is 9 that includes the 3 helicopters. 2 Falcon 900s a G iv and GII were sold. Oh and just a side, the US air force one, (Boeing 757) costs about 180k per hour to operate, and that doesn't include the cost of the other planes(a passenger plane and a cargo plane) that fly with it on most trips.
5N-FGP Gulfstream IV was sold to Skybird air (now 5N-BOD)allegedly owned by Ali Modu Sheriff Former Governor Borno State ? (2 Falcon 900)5N-FGE - (Already?) Passed to the Airforce as NAF 961 & 5N-FGO (now 5N-BOH ) Owner unknown. Hawker 4000 5N-FGX replaced Hawker 800 5N-AGZ now 5N-BOO. As far as I know the GII (5N-BGV) was sold as far back as 2009 to Rochas Foundation, then whatever happened to it after I don't know. End of the day, keeping such a large fleet of 11 aircraft is plain stupid and outrageous. We didn't know the Presidency ran their independent Private Airline. |
Sincere 9gerian: Punch is Tinubu's dog. Punch has no credibility. QED.I can assure you quite alright, that all stated in that report are absolute fact. All are also Air-worthy. Heck, I can pull up their most recent flight histories, locations and very recent photographs of some of this aircrafts. So quit been a tw@t! |
Here's a breakdown of the fleet including their registration numbers. I also got pics of almost all of them. 2 Falcon 7X jets (5N-FGV & 5N-FGU) Delivered 2010 2 Falcon 900 jets ( Gulfstream 550 (5N-FGW) Delivered 2010 Boeing 737 BBJ (5N-FGT)(Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle One) Gulfstream IVSP Gulfstream V (5N-FGS) Cessna Citation 2 aircraft (5N-AYA) Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet A Dornier 228 (NAF 029) 3 Presidential Helicopters - AW139s (NAF 540 & NAF 541) Last unknown. Costs 2 Falcon 7X jets purchased in 2010 cost $51.1m each, while the Gulfstream 550 costs $53.3m. Another less known fact is the dedication of an Airforce C-130 especially for 'Presidential duties' making it 11 aircraft in the Presidential Fleet. |
Sometimes you look at Nigeria, and you wonder if there's a dearth of common sense. This would have been a very easy problem to solve. All to be done was to upgrade the Niger Delta in the way of aggressive infrastructural development and any other measure of human development. Instead, they chose to bribe those strong enough to request for their 'own share'. Very soon, those that did not take up arms the first time would pick it up again and the whole cycle continues. Meanwhile, they continue to pilfer 'their oil' for now almost unchallenged. The status quo would however soon change when challenged and it would be back to a 'gun running + oil bunkering' dynamics we've previously seen before. |

Vivly: Being a bad boy is very easy. Just pretend or act like a girl you want to chyke is trash. Girls have a strong affinity for guys who wont look their way. Its a mystery and alluring as to why a certain guy wont find them attractive. ![]() So did that work on you? SMH |

LastApostle: Where are the navy when the militants are busy bombing oil facilities and engaging in bunkering activities. What sort of mentality is this? When your son starts stealing...kindly 'hand over that particular thing'...to him as well. These militants are only there for their own pocket and theirs only. For far too long, they garnered sympathy from all and sundry with their 'fight for the community talk'. When the cash register began to ring, they flipped the script to 'for my own only'. The status quo of their community remains the same. Politicians using miscreants like this is how the likes of Boko Haram and company grow roots. |
On paper, the Phantom looks like the clear winner. (need to see benchmarks to be sure) But then these Chinese tablets are also always plagued with poor build quality and reliability due to poor quality control. Also factor in mandatory 24 months warranty on Samsung products which is included in the cost hence more expensive. If I have time someday, I'll like to put all this products through unbiased reviews. Not enough for the sellers posturing their products as the best. |
ciphoenix: been using MEGA for weeks before they bought over that android app. the 50GB is their base storage for all users, not some brand promo thing. premium users get options of 500GB to 4TBCertainly true, Mega is accessible to all android owners. Box 50GB promo is for LG devices. Only thing I'm scared about Mega is if it gets closed the way its predecessor (MEGAUPLOAD)went. |
Whilst the Tecno vs everyone battle continues. Imma just drop some hints. Mega is offering all Android LG owners 50GB free cloud storage. Valuable especially if you're into uploading stuff online to free up space on your phone. Also in the near feature, it may include the option of syncing literally everything including game saves et al. Makes it easier when migrating to a new android phone. Mega is on Play store. A new Google update just arrived. Features new UI and improved performance; head over to Androidpolice to download or just wait till the update is rolled out to your device. |
What's the manifesto/ideology for/of this new party? And I'm not talking about a textbook-big manifesto, just what it stands for in one sentence. Tories = conservatives/capitalists. Labour = capitalists+Socialists Liberal Democrats = Socialists.
Dude, this is Rocket Science to them. They got no ideologies, concepts or stance. They are just 'that other party' |
Rubbish! Looks like a temporary ceasefire only to observe Ramadan, same way the Syrian Rebels are appealing for one. Those bastards need to pay dearly for their disgusting crimes against humanity! |
^^^ Mubarak was kicked out by people power. Morsi was deposed because of a unanimous decision of the people backed by the military. Or what is the definition of democracy again? Difference here is military stepped in to prevent anarchy. |
mikeansy: who conducted the referendum upon which this ouster is based? Was there a referendum for the outster of the dictorial Mubarak? The Percentage of protesters far outnumbers the one seen for Mubarak. The people started getting cranky with the government's pursuit of their own Islamist intrest whilst the economy floundered. MB endorsement of jihdadi tourism for willing Egyptians got them concerned which they rebuked thinly. Afterall who deals with the remnants of the battle hardened troublemakers when they come back. |
People should know this Government was deposed with the backing of the people. This protest was on a far larger scale than that of Mubarak's era. Shows the danger of a revolution without choosing a consensus candidate, the strongest opposition group seized the limelight and here they are today. |
ciphoenix: not live though. just the ads and hands on.I was wrong about the size of the Note II (own one) but the Mega mid range specs looks like an asteroid in your pocket. Its like back to the early 1990's bulky cellphones. |
^Lol Anyone seen the Samsung Mega. ![]() |
This thread is now all fights, silly questions, Chinese phones and all. We need a revolution o. Lol Fucc Tecno too. |
EFCC and ICPC still exists? Last I heard, their main trade is now only small scale fraudsters, politicians excluded. ![]() |
The scale of the protest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vux_-vJvHww The Army's ultimatum shows they are not attavched at the waist with the Government in power. Reminds me of the reasons why Obj,Yaradua and Jonathan hand-picked their own Service Chiefs to effectively stem or bulwark any form of protests against their government. |
Very soon, even day old baby would be handed a political/influential post because they're from the Tinunbu family. Only the chosen who are all and willing to do the bidding of the Grand Puppet Master are given free rein and a human finds nowt wrong with this arrangement? Mba! ![]() I cannot fathom the rationale beyond the shitty politics where a man's links allows his wife, children, granddaughter, friends et al allows them to wield an unrivalled stranglehold over the people of the SW. |
The fools are still fighting themselves and arguing whose tribe is better (or whose dic is longer) ![]() The Japanese seized one opportunity in the 'Meiji Era' to become one of the most advanced society in the world today. At the end of it they had, a highly centralized, bureaucratic government; · a constitution establishing an elected parliament; · a well-developed transport and communication system; · a highly educated population free of feudal class restrictions; · an established and rapidly growing industrial sector based on the latest technology; and · a powerful army and navy. Meanwhile Africans can't even select their own leaders...Guess I don't need to tell you what follows after that? |
My bad then. I'll correct it. |
