In the US, pharmacy (Pharm.D) arguably pays more and offers more flexible working hours. A pharmacist with a doctorate is the benchmark to practice pharmacy and rake in 6-figure salary. Nursing also has huge potential to rake in mad pay depending on the persons ambition in the nursing field especially those with Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. Let us say, a pharmacist would rake in a 6-figure salary earlier than a nurse but both professions are very lucrative.

It goes to show the vision of the policy makers who have perpertually placed health as a secondary part of the economy, hence the low wage rates in the sector. It is a shameful reality and will remain so unless the bunch of incompetent and greedy policy makers would vanish from the scene.

It is funny how we think the idea of a solid university is photos of fancy-styled building and access roads. Where is the stadium, medical center, library, hostel accommodation(s), fire service dept., security dept., research centers, lecture halls - these are the hallmarks of a world class university.

A horrible case of poor facilities management and infrastructural development...just sad. A great potential lost to desperate underfunding and horrible maintenance culture...

Where are the libraries, sports facilities, research centers, medical centers, hostel accommodation, cafeteria, shopping complex, indoor sports dome or similar, emergency center etc...not just massive gates and trees lining access roads...
