Ayarabiasa:What a dumb comment. I want to suffer the suffer you invented for him as Labour leader. That will be sufficient for me, without having to add "governor". As I always say, Nigeria is a joke. Black people have proved overwhelmingly that they can't govern themselves |
Raiders:It is an indication of the type of society. I've always said same as you did but the problem with this country is the right man is usually so obscure, no one ever imagines he could be right. All the issues in this country can be linked in a thread which screams "backwardness". All our attitudes, beliefs, values are indicative of our backwardness as a society. The fact that we think it's just "kwarrupshin" and fighting one leader after another since "independence" is an indication how lost we are - WE DON'T GET IT! |
Generation brought up in materialism. In America sef not everyone hopes to have a house. We just hear they "hustle" and - lo and behold - they're displaying things worth tens of millions of naira. What kind of "hustling" is it? I blame the dumb people patronising all these entertainers. That's why we can't grow because no country can be built by music, movies and pageants and that's what everybody wants to do these days. It's all a joke. This country is lost |
Acidosis:It is you who doesn't know anything at all: you neither know history, nor do you know the very current events happening right now. What is happening to the Christian populations in the middle-east? I won't indulge you further. I even have time sef to say this much |
lapazi:99% Nigerian Christians have no idea there's a schism within Islam and has been for over 1000 years. Nigerian Christians do no know that Muslims have killed more Muslims than they have Christians throughout history. How can they know? Religion discourages you from finding things out by yourself |
diasporaman:Religion never measures up to any reason or logic. They only thrive in blackmail and threats and murder and intimidation, all to change minds. What ISIS is today, Christianity was in the past. |
crownwealth:The writer of the article is prejudiced as should be expected of a member of this backward society. The bill didn't envision a car and all that needs done is to ammend that part so that you have a right to listen to whatever nonsense you like in your car, as long as you don't contaminate the airwaves of everybody with it. The people who are being oppressed every day, day and night in Nigeria by religious preachers are also human beings too, entitled to live a full and free life devoid of the poison of religion. But of course religious people can not imagine anyone has any rights apart from them. Nigeria is a joke! |
Land of the apes. |
Oh black man! Are you human? In 2016 some people are still attaching a lot of relevance to institutions that have been defeated and should belong to the rubbish heap of history. That's not even the worst part. With respect to this topic, a monarch who claims to be the embodiment and custodian of the civilisation of his kingdom is: 1. Pledging loyalty and his life to a religious practice imported from another man's land. 2. Using a vehicle which is a result of the advancement of another man's civilisation and technological advancement. Africa is a tragedy. The Queen of England does not have a Rolls Royce 2016 even though it is a product of her country's civilisation. The mechanised vehicle she uses must be something from the 20th century, likely 50 or 60 years old. They take pride in that. Moreover, if the queen wants to really honour a guest, or in any major royal festivity, she uses horse-drawn carriages, one of which was made in 12something (yea that's a date: 13th century). Our equivalent? WE WOULD TREK because black man could not develop anything until the British came to open our eyes. Even the North that I would have praised for their own usage of horses, they also have their kings riding limousines that Royals in countries of manufacture don't use. Black man's opulence is nauseating, unable to do anything himself but wanting the best that another society has made. African is still a savage ape!!! |
onatisi:My dear sir, when oyibo makes car this year, they will call it 2017 model. Good you didn't insist you know for sure |
applemark:"Belief...is a matter of faith, not science. For the believer, evidence is irrelevant. For the scientist or skeptic trying to talk to a believer, discussion is futile." - Patrick Snyder |
applemark:Yea, this is the mental enslavement I'm talking about. Everything you experience in life you will interpret according to the book that you're a slave to. Spare a thought for Boko Haram, al-Qaeda, ISIS - they have the same problem as you because they were brainwashed from the day they were born, just like you |
yemi1261:All you these mumus that think bible is a manual for living in life, written by a "God", I have news for you: it is a joke. Bible is your own book of confusion just like others have their own books of confusion. When you're treating real-world issues, try to use argument, reason and logic and not what one stupid book told you. If you're a slave to a book, just like ISIS murderers, not everyone is, ok. Use your brain - it works! |
Because "God" is a cheat and a fraud, the backbone of injustice in Nigeria. "God" is what people call when they seek unjust and unfair advantages in life and over their fellow man. Nigeria is a joke! |
If I be that Ibinabo, I for don dey do time jejeli since. Instead she wastes all these years trying to use her "levels" to quash the consequence of her crimes. Some people believe they're above the laws of the land in this country. Most Nigerians can not survive if this country started to do the right thing which will make us progress. We are inclined to doing things wrong. They will waste some more time to go to the Supreme Court and the same verdict will be returned. Nigerians are the problem with this country. I'm happy the Lagos AG stood up for justice or else she had quickly paid 100k for a human life |
Come on, but the guy is not broke na; the guy is handsome and has comes from a notable family. Hasn't he ticked off what Nigerian women list as their priorities? Mumu. I hope he kills you so that your story will be a lesson to people like another mumu girl who started a thread here earlier. God, I hate Nigerian girls; they're only good for a fhuck and not for serious life issues. This is how they're brought up by society |
I want to import stuff weighing about 1.5Kg from UK. How much will that cost? |
fippycbk:Sadly for Nigeria, it was part of my arguments in an article I wrote, took to the Guardian and was never acknowledged 18 YEARS AGO. There's nothing new under the sun; Nigeria is a joke! |
No doubt this was written by a born-and-bred Nigerian female, less than 30 years of age with their typical warped view of life. My wish for you is that you never find a Nigerian male to be your partner, ever! |
ogene007:Sorry but all I see in your writeup is one who has memorised all terms in popular use and regurgitated them back to me. I prefer original thinkers, and I also like logic and reason. 1. You think in terms of "political class" and other such terms. There's nothing like that. It is popular terminology here. So what class is Oshio baba who claims to be fighting for workers and all of Nigeria. What "class" is he? 2. Unionism is not by force the way you seem to think. It's just like any other group formed to protect their interest. You talk of checking power of "political" class. My friend, that's the issue I'm also raising with the union bosses: they also have unchecked power that they abuse. That's the whole point of my argument. Our problem is in our minds, not this "class" or that "class". We are avaricious, self-absorbed people. 3. The world was doing very well before unions came to be and by today's standard of union demands, it is highly improbable that the Industrial Revolution would have succeeded. Modernity was built on the backs of extremely hardworking men and kids with little protections. 4. Lastly, nothing proves how poles apart we are than your claim of what institutions work together to advance society. Let me just say the "religious" you added is the institution that holds society back, so there you go. The world only began to make rapid progress by pushing back on religion in people's daily lives. Abeg Jo, nobody pays or acknowledges me for all my story. Sick country indeed. Pic: workers in their sleeping "pens" in Europe in the 19th century. Go figure!

emamos:Lmao. See these savages arguing over their backwardness. 1826? 1830? They had already invented photography in serious countries; democracy and the system we are just practising today was already alive and well for almost 50 years in America (which is a very young state amongst nations). And we call these people "ancestors". Meanwhile this is all oral history as black man was incapable of recording history until first the Arab Muslims in the North, and then the British in the south. Northern Muslim society is a far more respectable historical institution than all these noisemakers in the south. I just battled some Ibo noisemakers yesterday on this issue. Ah, we are a backward society! (meanwhile we say we're a Republic o. What a joke!) |
ogene007:It is you who really needs to know. You're secure in your Nigerian-level understanding of life. It is the NIGERIAN PEOPLE I blame: the failed Nigerian people brought up to pursue only narrow self-interest. If we had associations and organisations of real patriots, all this crap won't happen. There will be street wars everytime some stupid union wants to blackmail the Nigerian government and the Nigerian nation. But alas, the public generally think unions are always right. Who on earth would tell me the people I employ would now determine how I organise my company or whether I sack this or that person OR EVERYBODY AT ONCE. Nigeria should continue to count herself lucky that I have not been allowed to come on the national stage; una for don hear something. After the unions began to destroy Britain in the 70s, Margaret Thatcher stood up to their bully and the British people supported her and fought the unions. That saved Britain and they're better for it as no one hears of the union lords anymore who had turned to what Adams Oshiomole had turned to: a god. I hope you see where Oshio baba is now - enjoying his life in govt house with a small girl that should be my own girlfriend, all because of union self-serving activities. O God I hate this country (i.e. Nigerians) |
The usual lame excuses. Maybe 80% of accidents in Nigeria, officials claim to be caused by "overspeeding". Overspeeding doesn't burst tyres in and of itself. Not having a license is another stupid talk. It never caused an accident because the officials never mandate a test for driving proficiency to issue a licence; they only focus on MONEY MONEY MONEY. So in short, it is same old same old |
Nigerian political structures were founded on a lie. Buhari's administration was founded on same lie. Nigerians join party to take from party. The reality is party should take from members who believe in their vision. Now that Buhari is proving saint, he doesn't want to do the needful of opening up govt treasury to his winning party to loot belleful and they're not finding it funny as that's the normal Nigerian approach to politics. I'm looking to see how long the joke lasts |
adonismuller:See the narrow worldview of a typical Nigerian. If 99% of people are doing something and 1% doesn't want or isn't yet able to, they won't let them rest until they fall in line. And we're complaining about Nigeria when we all created the values that keep us backward. Let me tell you, when those kids grow older and the parent did not prepare for the future, that happiness will be out the window in no time. Why are we suffering today? Don't you know that for every 1% increase in economic output Nigeria achieves, they increase their population by more than enough to wipe out the benefit to society, leaving the country even poorer, promoting disharmony in the family and society. I'm amazed Nigerians never tie their desperate situation to the fact that their populations doubled in 25 years while reasonable, hardworking societies recorded little increase under same period, some even recording negative population growth rate. All this is academic to most of you but you are seeing the effect but to dumb to make the connection. There's unemployment, govt didn't provide employment for "teeming youth". Government send your mama and papa message? The worst part is they keep having children from villages who want to run away from the farm and come to the cities to be like Americana and we're complaining food is expensive and scarce. As I always say, Nigeria is a joke. The people are empty. This is typical of a backward society. Let me remind all of you what's happening: in 100 years, Nigerian landmass has shrunk but the population has increased 10 TIMES! Yes, 1000%. There is no God controlling anything here. If we continue to marry so we can have children and condemn instead of thanking those that didn't, one day we will start eating one-another. The more the people, the higher the price of everything will get. We are like any other animals. If there's too many rats in your house because they have a free reign to born as they like, after a while you will have to start to kill them or they will kill you before killing one-another for meat. God! I just don't know where to start, this society is so so lost in ignorance |
Every journey contains some risk of an accident. Air travel involves the lowest risk but it's not zero. The fact that it hasn't happened before to a Nigerian president is the very reason it could happen one day. The more you roll the dice the more that chance comes into play. Presidents of much more reliable countries have been involved and lost their lives in air crashes. Fayose was not specific but I hope no one plunges Nigeria into chaos and as we are a backward society, accuse me and Fayose for causing anything should anything happen. If person A (Obasanjo) does something and nothing happens, it doesn't mean person B can do even half and be fine. Beware! |
thesicilian:I love summary I love mathematics I love logic Makes things easy and clear NIGERIA IS A JOKE! |
bremmery:No difference. Same thing is in my diary - I made same conclusion. You know the year? 1992 or 3. The more things change, the more they remain the same! |
Trachea:Nigerians have no clue how a modern state works. They were brought up their whole lives to believe everything starts and ends with government |
Naija9090:Political Ibos are the most deluded set of people in this country and it is time the rest of Nigeria put them in their place. It is your delusion that's causing you great disaster and you don't know it. Ibos are the most civilized, Ibos are descendants of Hebrews, Ibos are especially gifted to business, Ibos are the richest, Ibos are the most intelligent, Ibos are the most "this" and "that", yet you can't do it in your own towns and villages, instead you complain and complain and complain of marginalisation. The whole 5 Southeastern states COMBINED are probably smaller than Niger state alone, YET you complain SE has only five states while others have six and seven. Why are political Ibo people so dumb? The reason for the creation of states (which has failed) is that each state proves what they can do by themselves. Instead all states are begging free money from the Federal Government, Ibo included. No one is able to generate money and pay to the FG purse as it was hoped to be. Nigeria is a joke. Political Ibo is the worst thing to happen to Nigeria and the delusion that led them to harming Nigeria so badly, starting from 1966 continues today. I no fit shout bo. I don't blame you all. It is this sick country that makes it that I have to be debating with nitwits on Nairaland because the people that should know are dodging from me and the truth |
janellemonae:Lol. I'm happy that by default, you recognised the Bini Kingdom. So back to point, if people want to start claiming rulership of Nigeria based on tribes, it's time for a Bini. Isn't that dumb? I'm just using that stupid argument to counter stupid Ibo argument. As for the rest of your blab, I won't even bother |
igbobuigbo:Problem caused by enjoyment. I'm not yet on that level so I won't put mouth. Let him keep looking for more money as they taught him in his native country. One day, maybe too late, he'll realise that there's much more to life than chasing money. Don't mind PSquared - dem be small boy |
