PoliticsRe: Only In America They Behave Like Mental-man Kills 4 At Family Gathering In Miami by blacksta(m): 3:30pm On Apr 18, 2009
lucabrasi:
the difference is an african country where the police and other law enforcement authorities are riddled with corruption and would collect bribes from criminals and set them free, often times going back on reprisal attacks to the houses of these who handed them over,i know a whole family weho was wiped out like this hence they resorted to self help.

the other country has no need to resort to self help, because they have a working law enforcement, neither was there any crime or malfeisance committed that will warrant suddenly removing a firearm and summarily executing your own family members, that sounds like a cucoo dude to me,THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO!!
@POSTER
i dont make the mistake of not looking back when i pass by anybody anytime im in that country, especially white people, same as here in uk too ;D these gys need tighter gun controls and there needs to be a mental hospital in every street corner

Ronke, frankly, most pipz think this is a scam, to clear the air, you've got to use a technique someone brought up earlier. you have to post another picture doing something u were asked to do, like 2 fingers or a thumbs up or 2 thumbs up. its crazy tho but thts one way to clear the air.

for those naughty dudes (i no follow o) who do cam2cam chats u'll understand wht i mean. sometimes the gurl is asked to raise 2 fingers if real, just to make sure it isnt just a video playing on the webcam.
Somebody has been busy with webcams

Please correct me if i am wrong, I noticed that a lot of 9ja men like to marry very big and fat white women while the ugliest of white men marries the most beautiful of all black women  - lean, fit , toned up and Juicy. I know some uncles and a friend of mine who all fall into this catergory.  You need to see my uncle( average build) wife. (  Very Big)  in my head i always say is this man suffering from eye problem

God pass all of them. if his time don reach, if they like, let them treat him inside the sea, he will still die.
we have been praying that they change for good and since they are not ready to change, we are now praying that God will come and take them so that we can have our freedom.
AMen to that. God is not apologetic to those who are hinderances of progress. This example is for the doubters whether God can do that or not ( Remember the people Isreal when they were held captive in Egypt) God Killed all the Egyptian First Born.

PoliticsRe: Ex-gov Turaki Involved In Accident, Very Good! by blacksta(m): 9:32pm On Apr 17, 2009
jewman:
QUOTE:'President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has approved foreign treatment for former governor of Jigawa State and serving Senator, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, who was involved in a road accident on Saturday.
Turaki was on his way from Kebbi, where he had gone for a wedding, when his SUV, a Hummer, reportedly veered off the road and somersaulted, leading to his sustaining multiple injuries and fracturing an arm.
THISDAY reported yesterday that he was at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital, Abuja.
It was gathered last night that the former governor, who is said to be in stable condition now, would be flown to an undisclosed hospital in Germany for specialist attention.
“He is talking now and can recognise people, but his arms hurts,” a source told THISDAY last night. “Graciously, the President has approved that he be taken abroad for treatment.”
Turaki had intended to travel to Singapore for treatment but the President was said to have preferred Germany because of the country’s expertise in treating accident injuries.'

Maybe the president wants him to marry another of his daughter. So Mr.President want him to be alive at all cost.
If he dies i am very sure he is not going to be missed. My only concern is the money trapped in the swiss account which only this man knows the combination
Music/RadioRe: I Spent Over N3m In Shooting Morile - Na Lie by blacksta(op): 9:17pm On Apr 17, 2009
~Sauron~:
3 Million Naira is about £12,000.

She has no reason to lie over this.
I am confident she musta spent close to that.
This price might include her travel fare and other miscellaneous.
flight and accomodaton = 1,500 ( i am sure she stayed at friend house)
ferrai and limo hire = max 600 pounds per day
Camera Hire - No special effects - all that shooting can be done in day - red eye camera 350 pounds a day
Make up and costume = 500 pounds ( i am being generous)
Miscellanous and video editing = £1000

total - £3950 * 248 = N979650

where the rest go (N2.5 Mil) maybe she had to settle area boys for greenwich.

PoliticsRe: Do You Agree Of Disagree That Nigeria Is Essentially A Failed State? by blacksta(m): 8:22pm On Apr 17, 2009
If Nigeria is not a failed state  then is definately showing indices of a Failed state.

Land of Famine, Gross Human Rights Violations, Stolen Elections and Poverty is re-certified as a “Failed State".

A failed state is most readily identified by the existence of rampant corruption and criminality in the state apparatus, massive human rights violations, rigged elections, predatory elites with protracted monopoly on power, an absence of the rule of law, severe ethnic divisions and sectarianism, deep economic crises and a significant refugee problem caused by political persecution, among other factors.

It is accurate to say that Nigeria’s political institutions have been corrupted to a point where they have become ineffective in performing basic governmental functions.

On every measure of state failure, this can be demonstrated. For instance, security apparatuses (army, police, etc.) are used as private military forces to suppress the citizenry and opposition elements, and prevent the growth of democratic institutions.

Indices of failed state

1. Failure on Human Rights -

the institutions responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights have been mangled beyond recognition. The regime maintains itself in power through brute force and massive repression. Arbitrary arrests, extrajudicial killings, torture and other abusive political persecution practices go on unchecked even today. The past and present regime has consistently interfered in the functioning of judicial institutions and undermined their legitimacy, efficacy and credibility by installing political hacks as judges - el rufai , ribadu, bola ige, ken saro wiwa and thousands more

2 Failure on Health

Nigerians continue to suffer from preventable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and diarrhoeal diseases.

3.Failure on Youth: The Greatest Failure of All

Underfunding of the education establishments and Parents were too poor to pay for their children’s education. Inability of parents to afford basic school supplies such as books, pens and paper

BusinessRe: If I Were Soludo CBN GOVERNOR. How I Will Deal With The Black Market by blacksta(m): 10:47am On Apr 17, 2009
ADEOMOLE:
I wish you can tell us an alternative way.

The market is regulated and it is a criminal offence to sell at the black market at the moment.
And of course the banks and bureau de cahnge are regulated.

There is no enforcement. There might never be (NPF, EFCC) all lame ducks
Remember i mentioned Demand and Supply.

$10 = N1,600 is still demand and supply.

The fact is, the black market is seen as a petty business.
Wake up guys, this is a multi billion dollar industry.

Its crippling our economy. Why is that we are so much used to suffering and smiling ( conditioning).

@ Seun. One of the responsiblities of the CBN governor is to manage the money markets.
So the government must be involved.

Its called the black market for a reason. How can a market be bigger than the national market.?

By matching the rates, the government would be responding to the rules of demand and supply.

As Nigerians,  we always abuse any system requiring us to bring documentation.
We have perfected the art of forgery.

Foremaple, you can buy Personal Travel Allowance at Officical rates.
Any Banker in the house? Fake tickets and non confirmed tickets is not strange.
Even the banks are invloved? Its called round tripping. If you are a branch manager it is one of the easiest way to
meet your target. Easy money.

For as long as you have so much disparity between the official rate and the black market rates.
The Black market will continue to grow.
Welcome to Nigeria. The fact of the matter - black market in any viable society is illegal . In modern societies the underground economy covers a vast array of activities. It is generally smallest in countries where economic freedom is greatest, and becomes progressively larger in those areas where corruption, regulation, or legal monopolies restrict legitimate economic activity.

I use the ATM to make withdrawal 2ce and my money was not dispensed instead my account was debited 55,000 naira and I contacted the bank but for 6 days now my money has not been returned, they keep complaining about network problem.
This is same technology that work flawlessly in another country( i have used atm for almost 12 years and i have never heard of this issue anywhere in the u.k) but bring the same technology to Nigeria na another story. What a shame
