My problem is not with stupid people dying, it is the type of environment they create for those who want to do something for the nation. I wasn't a juman on campus because I was an IDIOT then. Looking from a juman's point of view, you have to also watch your back for any kpararaam, you can't study in peace, research in peace, coupled with the general problems of the nation, no light, money issues, food, no job, bad roads, dependency/entitlement/haters mentality, etc.

Government can rubbish cultism if they had vision or were interested in doing so. Cultist can die any way or how they please in my book, just leave the few students that could save Nigeria through their knowledgeable contributions. A sane university environment in Nigeria for more than 15years straight can make Nigeria the 2nd economic superhouse in many ramifications behind the USA, that's if the USA are still rolling as they normally do. If you doubt that, look at Nigerians given a saner climate abroad to study and contribute.

Any sane human being respects corpse. Only mentally-ill individual would fuvk a corpse, drink the water used to wash a corpse or even sleep with one. it has everything to do with greed or the pursuit of "spiritual " power.

Anyone who sleeps in the mortuary and does not work there is in pursuit of something. Be it academic research, money ritual, spiritual advice for forgiveness or esoteric knowledge. Take your pick. But all in all we can see that they're applying themselves to get an outcome. This is not by faith but by work.

As regards the devil and fellow tenants in the lake of fire see this:

NOWHERE do you find that this fire devours but the uniform picture all throughout Scripture is the Word torment (Lazarus and richman story inclusive). Why will the Bible find it hard to simply use devour if that is what is in mind?

Besides, the linking of their torment to the presence of the Lamb and the angels is a way of showing that the torment should continue as long as Those are Present!

If Romans 6:7 says those dying are acquitted of their sins. Meaning they are free from the sins they committed throughout their lifetime. Isn't it? Then, what will be their charges or what further charges(sin) will be levied against them that will warrant being tormented forever in hell fire? Where will those charges come from?

Wow! great. You know way more than I do. I haven't read Augustine but I heard almost everything that led to the reformation and also Calvinism can be traced back to his teachings. My view of hell is in line with what the orthodox believe, which is described differently but it is eternal. I am not for universalism. Christianity isn't. The thief at the cross entered paradise immediately after his death because if he didn't and is asleep until the day of resurrection, then veneration, intercessions of the saints and praying for the dead becomes void. The same applies with the Rich man and Lazarus story that immediately the rich man and Lazarus died, Lazarus went to heaven and the rich man hell where although Abraham sort of had compassion, the chasm between them was too great and impossible to cross. It is in line with no unclean thing shall enter heaven. The day of resurrection is thus interpreted as the final judgment and what the rich man was experiencing was a foretaste of what is to come. Eschatology is the mother of all heresies I pay little attention to it. My family and I are not going wherever the rich man is.
