I was also wondering if those rules applies to Africa?
cheesy

There are even Africans who act as middle men /mule abroad , buy those exclusive/luxury items on behalf of their chairmo in naija and send it down here either by the books or by crook .

Nigeria no dey show for here

The answer to your question is that those ferriaris sold in vi are grey market or worse with zero support and dodgy parts.
Baba the world is not all black and white ; u should know this .

There’s a black market for almost everything luxury and exclusive . All Ferrari will show u on their website is their official position as a legal entity ; people driving Ferrari on park view , eko Atlantic , lekki , etc probably won’t appear on Ferarri owners on the official website .

That's why I said look up Ferraris policies for owners of their vehicles.

Ownership of Ferraris is an elite club with waiting list and lots of rules. Because they don't want their brand diluted.

One of the rules is you can't sell your Ferrari
Another - you can't have a Ferrari and a lambo. Dino claimed to have both.

Dino can pull these mind tricks because na naija matter. How many people can tell you the exact features of a Ferrari?

Go outside of Lagos or Abuja with those upgraded lexus and people will think it's the real deal.
grin grin

So u think and believe Africans who have the means don’t own lambo and Ferrari ?

If people don’t sell their Ferraris how do the tokunbos find their way to Nigerian market ?

Baba I dey see these cars for showrooms for V.I o

4 years - 2015 to 2019

because nigeria is a third world country, people regularly represent fake or imitation items as the real deal. i am sure you also know of all those 'upgraded' lexus suvs where they slap a modified body of a 2019 Lexus on the frame of a 2014 lexus

also, you should take any boastful pronunciations on social media with a handful of salt .

read up on mtv cribs - it turns out 90% of the time - the house the star was posing in was not his own. the car being posed in is leased by the company. all this is an image the record company wants to sell.

this is an article from 2016 on another of dinos so called vintage cars

https://www.nairaland.com/3393092/dino-melayes-car-discovered-fake#49985004
Dino could have bought those vehicles ; they may not be knock-off but 1st grade tokunbo .

Dino while in the house of reps and senate date on some house committees . There’s money in some of those committees o; MD of companies literally settle these guys to not have to appear in front of those committees to save their organizations reputational damage( I know this for a fact ).

Those guys dey see real money , na Dino just decide to be so much invested in showing off . Where I stay , a senator who has a house in one of the estates closeby took it upon himself to fix the whole internal roads in the area . It was nothing to him .

That stat is nice but one of the craziest I know of is Carlos Gamarra. Paraguayan main CB who went to 2 world cups, played 8 games, and did not concede a single foul.
The Gamarra guy must have played most of career in South America cos he should’ve been hot prospect for European team na with those excellent stats

The bolded is the reality. If you followed the 2016 us elections you will read about how Stacey Abrams who hadlost the governorship election previously built up a voting block that turned the red state blue

The typical Nigerian approach to elections is basically like crashing for the exam the night before, rather than preparing for it the entire term.

You can build up a voter base but it will take time, effort and dedication.

Also the other problem with the hinterlands - they really and truly have little or no stake in anything.

A large number of Nigerian states are a capital city one or two major cities and everything else a hamlet. The ancient city of so and so. Traditionally neglected. Most of the development is always in the capital cities so what difference does it make to the hinterlands electorate? They also know the score. Any development is going to be in a visible location where it can be showcased to boost the governors profile. Not in a backwater.
It’s that long road of building voters block most politicians don’t want to build in this country

With what I know about Rivers State, I can assure you this will not work except you're coming with that 3k to explain the dangers of not collecting 3k on election day.

People in rural areas here no send story. The only language they understand is money,
The goal is actually to reduce the number of people that will go with the crowd and Collect that 3k .

If democracy must work in this doomed impoverished country, Bsc or a diploma should be the minimum requirement to cast a vote. I don't believe my vote should weigh the same with an ignorant man ekeing it out daily in his farm at ezzamgbo, Ebonyi state or a village in Taraba state.

In my village, people there including my grandmom voted for candidates supported by then LGA chairman who was a known thief because he brings trailer load of rice every December. This is a man who terrorised the village by selling their lands and robbing those whose diaspora sons brought home hard currencies. He made money, built up connection and became a grassroot political godfather and people supported him because of bags of rice. Full bag of rice between 1999 to 2011, half bag between 2011 to 2019 and now quarter bag.

Very soon, he will use derica of rice to maintain his "political structure".
Raumdeuter was right when he said someone in the hinterland where there’s serious poverty will not really care about the lofty ideas, policies and plans of a candidate in Nigeria . Such person is most contented with the little politicians are willing to give during election and move on.

I think if democracy will work here then a major opposition party should not go to rest after an election onmy to become active 1 and half year to another election .

The opposition party needs to go into remotest LGA’s sensitize the people in their local languages , explain the dangers of voting the incumbent party for paltry 3k on election date , carry them along with the plans of ur party if voted in, relate with them on proposed complex policies in the most simplified way , etc .

Is that not the structure that PDAPC boasts of/about,Perhaps he is talking about that "structure"....

We saw how that was rendered useless in Lagos when the person who doesn't give shishi won overwhelmingly before disenfranchisement, bullying, and voters suppression came into play in the gubernatorial election....

He is a very foolish person,he's not credible enough for bayelsans to "waste" their votes on,so they had to gamble it on PDAPC who will offer them coins too ....He was the commissioner for youth development under the vote buying party, what did he do for the youths?

He graduated from my school and faculty, UniBen engine boys sabi him story when dem dey narrate how with other OG dem take shake that school in his days....
The bold does not discountenance the the point the man was making in his complaint against the conduct of the electorate in Bayelsa election and Nigeria as a whole .

The man said the electorate is not not ready to be liberated and I agree with him. There are enough credible people that have stood up for election in this country at one point or the other , yet the people keep voting those offering them cash and foodstuff instead .

This man is on ground in Bayelsa and most likely saw his people choose money above any other alternative . I’m in Lagos and I know neither APC , LP or PDP really did money play during that Obi’s election .If APC played full money politics , there’s no way Obi would have had good numbers in LGA’s like Alimosho , Ikorodu , Agege , etc where the large number of voters there would take the money and damn whatever talks of credibility Obi was offering .

There are more than one factors responsible for Obi’s good numbers in Lagos during the last election. U are being unfair to the man saying it’s his lack of credibility that make the electorate reject him and vote for someone offering them money instead . If the electorate are not ready, even if Jesus contests in this country he fit no see vote like that .

It is an advantage we previously were not exploiting. We have size and length in Saliba/ Gabu/ Rice inside the box during set pieces. Also, our kickers have gotten better.
