not necessarily, people with sensitive info can hurt you any time, that's why you chose wisely and after background checks, it has to be those who can't burn the bridge. For whatever reason, management needs to follow the rules by given general on need to lay off then execute accordingly just just insensitively. After all we are are all coworkers, some are just managers, while some are not.
Password management is not contained in the employment letter. Background check my foot, in a volatile environment with no citizens record. We are talking of a banking institution here and not a construction coy. Money matters is a delicate one.

very unfortunate, the same people the govt is trying to protect. For those saying govt has no say in who private employers engage, why do we have Nigerian content act? Many of the so called CEOs today may not be on their seats if not for govt compelling multinationals to employ Nigerians. Ngige did not say don't sack but follow the rule and do it responsibly as last resort. Some people just resume on Monday to discover there passwords have been disabled,i is that how to treat a dedicated worker?
As regards password, that is the way. Imagine what many would do with sensitive client information if pre-informed

Politics › Re: Fayose Shares Foodstuffs In Erio, Ekiti by Bluffly: 9:09am On Jun 10, 2016
Very sad of a Governor. You are meant to create an enabling environment for them to become fishers of fish and not fish eaters. This is a proof that everything about Nigeria has been built on unscrupulous palliatives, right from the 1914 amalgamation to date. It's all been artificial, economically and politically.

Yes, there are difficulties, but difficulties are meant to help us think outside the box, which is why they say that "necessity is the father of all inventions", though you might choose to invent stupidity as the case may be.

Difficulty made Japan, China, Britain, USA, Spain, Germany, France, Isreal, ese ti ra, ese ti ra, to be where they are today. Rather for Governor Fayose to think outside the box for his people, he is busy robbing their wounds and mortgaging their future. What a misfortune for Ekiti people and Nigerians at large because this also happens in other states.

This government is bound to fail with this kind of undue interference and persecution of opponents. So sad that Buhari is bent on destroying our nurtured democracy under the last administration.
There is a clear difference between an opponent and a stupid opponent. Why would a serving Governor, even a Nigerian writing such letter to another sovereign state against its own sovereign state, to the extent of even travelling down to China. This is treason. If he has such strength, then let him use it for Ekiti state. He wasn't voted as Governor to use their fund to be fighting the presidency when the presidency is not interferxing wth his state governance

This is not about the political party but INEC and the people. There should have been a law that where any political party found wanting for giving out such handouts be it in cash or otherwise, shall be disqualified from the election and banned for 10 years political activities along with their members. Secondly, the people are stupid for selling out their future. If the bribing party wins and fails to provide amenities or care for the people they will start shouting corruption after they have built their homes on corruption.

Children of different sex over the age of 10 don't need to share a room.

The 11year old boy don't even know wat his doing, he is just reacting to the onset of puberty and testosterone.

Dire violence was not the answer but a little shaming would get the message across.(Psychology)

Even the shaming, u have to be careful not to over do it and destroy him. U no get son again becos, u no get sense.

Nigeria has a violence problem, every situation must be handled with extreme violence.

Nyway, my son is lucky to have a father like me, he will make a fine young man that I will be proud of.
Mr unsilly, why not go and rent three bedroom flats for families living in one room, A one room self-contain, A one room flat, two bedrooms flat. By doing this you can save them as they are silly due to their economic capacity.

Hmm, what a shame. But I kept wondering why he released all his anger on the boy. 11 years and 8 years have just same thinking cap these days. Was he raping his sister or him and his sister were having sex? You beat the boy with no mercies and never blamed the girl for consenting to the act.

This is how we kept making females feel weaker than they are weak. Females/some have been trained to be so weak that the only strength they could garner is academic or just their economic skill. Most have been made to believe that they can't protect themselves with self-defensive skills against a male or speak up blatantly against unjust acts

I'm sure the father hit him so hard for him to have sustained an internal injury. RIP to the boy. Father, please accept my heartfelt condolence. I pray the law pardons you.

I will advise you to go for generator and battery/inverter option.

Due to few factors including low solar irriadiance in Ogun state and the fact that you wouldn't be cleaning the panels (People don't know they have to) often to maximise the yield.

Buy a generator to charge the battery for few hours, then run on inverter.
We now have a glass solar panel other than the one circulated in Nigeria currently. It is 5x stronger and can serve you under a very low light.

The problem in this part of the world is that we cry over issues rather than providing solutions. Simple, let them make use of technology accessible to Jamb and all the institutions. This system will arrange every candidate according to their suitability. In fact, let them simply borrow an idea from the UK UCAS admission system. All these things are not miracles. AT the end the Universities will use both their WAEC and Jamb to determine their admission.

So, you're Yoruba, yes?

Darn! You Yoruba folks on this forum always disappoint me with the way you harangue with these folks over inconsequential, insufficient, and counter-productive accursed oil. A cursory look into Yoruba post-colonial history would showed that the region achieved its greatest strides when it depended on proceeds from agriculture and it looked inwards to create wealth. So why be the loudest voices for other parasitic regions that can't thrive without being fixated oil proceeds?

Lagos has potentials to be a world class city, if the population can be managed effectively and they can find a way to create an identity for it. And it has a few drops of oil and bit of gas reserves. Ditto seaports for commerce. Ogun has massive potentials to be an industrial hub. Ibadan has huge untapped potentials and it can become a world class city if well restructured and planning. Ondo has a lot of potentials. Ditto Ekiti, Osun, and other parts of Oyo for agriculture and tourism. So, what's the fixation on oil that has stagnated growth about?

Our fixation should be on (semi)autonomy...not oil. Let them take their oil. If we can get (semi)autonomy, the money generated by Lagos alone should be able to replace whatever proceeds we're getting from oil right now. Lagos is being cheated in the scheme of things.
Fixation on semi-autonomy or oil is not the reason why their land is this way today. The reason is their leaders. Even with semi-autonomy, they will still be uselessly ravished. There is a difference between infrastructural development and diversification of the economy. Despite the fixation on oil, Nigeria generally is not meant to be the way it is. Even when we diversify, the question is still, do we have sane leaders? NO.

I agree that Oil is a curse for this country as it appears to be easy money.

Well, it seems you're a terrible student of history. There's no correlation between the British colonisation of both Singapore and US...and that of Africa. While the Brits saw US and Singapore as new homes in foreign lands and did all they could to develop those places (the nucleus of the US ruling class today is still Anglo-American, Scottish, Welsh and Irish) - Africa was exploited and left in darkness. And till today, there's still indirect colonisation of Africa - Francophone Africa, apart from Algeria to an extent, is the most overt form of the colonisation still going on in Africa today.

Now back to ya retort. How can they fight only their leaders when the FG takes almost every revenue that comes from them? What you posited would only make sense if their leaders are in control of the resources. However, that isn't the case.

As for Spain and Catalonia: only 1/8 of Spanish income comes from Catalonia, unlike Nigeria that earns close to 80/90% of its FOREX from Niger Delta oil. And the Spain government did well in developing Catalonia and it's also a semi-autonomous region. Can the same be said about Nigeria vis-a-vis Niger Delta? Apples and oranges, mate.

Be logical, don't be emotional. I don't know what part of naij you're from - but ya region would fare better without oil if the stakeholders can look inwards to create wealth.
Please, Please, British did all they could to develop Singapore and USA or USA and Singapore were ready to build themselves. No one can make you feel inferior, if you do not permit it. These two countries did what they need to do. You said Federal Government is not doing enough to develop ND, so should we relieve the governors of their appointments, cancel the existence of those states and declare it a federal territory?. What have the region done with all the quintillions that have sank into ND, They are complaining of pollution and yet they are polluting it the more through bombing. These regions collect allocation more than any other place, with all other allocations that other states do not get. Either Autonomous, Semi-autonomous, or non-autonomous, what have they been doing with what they've gotten all this while.

You said how can they fight their leaders as if the FG took the money and pocketed it without giving them sizeable amount of it back. Do you know the quantum of projects that the FG has positioned into these areas in which this same set of buffons will rather collect the money from them than allow the project come to being? If you are not from that region, You collect a meaningful project and go to that region to execute it, if they allow you to be successful, let us know, if not, let us know.
You even said every revenue, as if they do not have IGR. Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta occupies positions in 1st to 4th and yet nothing to show for it.

I beg. In spite of lacuna in a political system, violence, and stupidity can never be justified.

Go back and read my post again. Every state receives allocations from FG. The allocation is not only for development of infrastructure. Abuja and Lagos wouldn't be the way they are today if all they got was federal allocations. FG consciously invested in them and made sure almost everyone else did.

Maybe we need to relocate our Federal Capital from region to region. grin
Lagos is a former Capital, Abuja is currently a Capital. They all share this money together. Point of correction, Lagos was majorly developed with Agriculture proceeds, before the emergence of oil. Lagos generates IGR and use it well, majorly. Let their Governors put on their thinking cap. If they are peaceful, Businesses would love to locate there but since they are not who will. Do you know what Federal government is owing Lagos state for the development of Federal infrastructures?

Err, you sound like a racist white person that's telling black people that: yes, we built our civilisation on ya backs during slavery and colonisation, but there's no overt slavery and colonisation today. And we give black people the following:

- Foreign aids.
- There's affirmative action for black people.
- Visas to visit and study in the west.

So, what's ya excuse for still being the dark continent that development/progress is elusive to and a non-achieving people at the bottom of the totem pole of everything?
That is the problem of you guys, shouting racist at every giving opportunity. British ruled over the Americans, it required a great fight to leave them, they are not shouting British today, Singapore was colonized, they are not shouting colonialism today.

There are two things involve, development of their lands and separation from Nigeria. If they are fighting for the development of their land then let them fight their Leaders if they want separation then let them behave like human beings. Most part of Spain today is being funded by Catalonians Tax generation but yet their lands are well developed, though they want separation and why, because they believe the Tax is not well utilized in other parts

The only thing I see NDs fighting for is stupidity.

The right questions are:

1) Why does the Nigerian Govt concentrate developmental projects only in its Capital?

2) Why are all the big corporations mandated to relocate their Corporate Headquarters to wherever our Capital is?

3) What stops the FG from personally developing the ND, the way it did Lagos and now Abuja?

It is only in Nigeria and maybe other African countries that the government locates every important parastatal in the capital. These things are consciously located at different states to create federal presence.

Imagine if all the oil companies have their head quarters in the Niger Delta? You think they will use and abandone the people and their environment?
My Guy, do not question what is beyond your imagination but under your nose. What concentration do you want from the Federal government again
