I have a lot of people working in multinational companies who didn't present NYSC certs.

Did Pat Utomi participate, let alone have an NYSC cert.?

What about Saraki (the failed medical doctor) and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.

The NYSC cert. does not have any academic value. It does not carry a grade and it is not a certificate that you can use to work.

It might be a requirement to getting a job but I know of many surveyor's offices and chambers in Abuja who don't even ask for it. The first place I worked did not even ask for an NYSC cert.

The cert. you use to work is the one that carries an academic value.

So, you should rather say "Did Kemi tender a fake NYSC cert?"

She got her finance job because of her university degrees in courses related to economics and finance.

Many people leave their jobs or go quiet when they get enmeshed in a scandal. It doesn't necessarily mean they are guilty. Some people do it for their family. Some people leave the country and try a new environment.

It is shortsighted to read one meaning into how a person deals with a scandal.

To say someone who has not admitted guilt is guilty because they resigned is the height of idiocy and plain laziness.

Experience may not be all that is needed to make a good leader, but in an election where we have experienced candidates like Ezekwesili, Sowore should take a backseat.

Fighting the military is activism; it does not count as political experience.

And for your information, it was not 6 months, but 3 solid years and some months. And before that, Obama had served in llinois Senate from the 13th district for 7 solid years.

As for Nnamdi Azikwe, he was president of the NCNC after Herbert Macauley died. He was active in politics for 15 years as party leader and many times as candidate before he became governor general.

As for Mandela, he never wanted to be president. He was merely compensated.

My family is doing fine. And when I drive past the market, people are buying and selling. I have never witnessed a major crisis since I was born.

My godmother has children in Kaduna. Two of them got state jobs under the El Rufai administration. One of them is a headmaster. Mind you, they were unemployed under PDP.

So, except you are talking about those affected by the insurgency, try and always speak for yourself. The misery of some Nigerians is not due to Buhari's administration but their own laziness and inability to step out of their comfort zones.

Nigeria did not work under him and his boss. What thing can he do differently.

This same Atiku says that he was always at loggerheads with his former boss (Obasanjo) over long-term plans and yet he is criticizing Buhari after just 4 years.

This Atiku will make more excuses as president. He has nothing to offer.

As for Sowore, he is simply dreaming. Sowore 2019 is nothing but an illusion. Leading a country like Nigeria demands more than a mere experience in investigative journalism. He should start with state legislation.

Leadership skill doesn't depend on experience or past events, after all the likes of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa,Nnamdi Azikiwe,Obafemi Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello all had little or no experience leading

Tafawa Balewa was Inspector of Schools for the colonial administration before he joined politics. And even before he became prime minister, he had served in the Northern House of Assembly and the Legislative House. That means he was a legislator before becoming prime minister.


Nnamdi Azikwe was president of the NCNC after Herbert Macaulay died. This was some 15 years before he became president.

Obafemi Awolowo was a systematic federalist and a premier and was head of the Action Group.

Ahmadu Bello was first a district head, then he was Divisional Head of Gusau, then he became a member of the Sultan's council. Then he was in charge of the Sokoto Province.

If you consider these men, you would notice they all served in many political capacities in colonial Nigeria long before they got big posts like premiers (governors), prime minister and president.

They not only had the best form of education at that time, but they also acquired a lot of political experiences before they got the top posts.

I don't mean to be tribalistic, but why is wife battery so common in the South East?
