It was reported that the Navy personnel was placed on one-month punishment for ridiculing the Nigeria Police Force in one of his skits.
Cute Abiola, who is a skit maker, was taken into custody on November 15. He was only released on Friday, December 3 to serve his ‘light corrective punishment’ in the cantonment.

When I wanted to marry, my wife Never agreed to having a house close to my mum's place.
I felt very bad but I want to make her happy so we moved far. My mom was angry as she knew my wife forced me.
When my wife delivered, her mum came for omugo instead of my mum, and that made her so sad, that she cried and ask if i am a bastard to let them steal her right.
I begged her. She came for naming and left the same day I noticed way my wife was acting rude too because her mum was pushing her.
I told my wife that mum is angry, let us visit her buy her a gift because her place is now far.
She kept saying that her body is not strong for 5 months after delivery and I thought she took me and my family as fools.
I got angry and slapped her twice. When she saw that I was really angry she begged me.
So we went and saw her we are all happy and settled all.
As my child reached 10 month, I told her to tell her mum to go because she's now strong almost to walk.
Her mum left but my mum wanted to come and spend the holiday as she had never done that since she delivered .
When I told my wife, her facial expression changed. When my mum came i travelled but she didnt cook for her but heat soup that was in the freezer to give her.
My mum hated that and she called me crying that what she did to her she won't do to her own mum .
I pretended nothing happened as I got back I bought things from a eatry for family so my mum left after 2 weeks.
I brought up the issue and she said nothing wrong in giving her food kept in the freezer that she gave same to her mum too .
I got angry and beat her up. I didnt injure her. all and some other thing . I love my wife I cant be beating her all the time she promise to change yet nothing. Because of bad character I refuse to take her to eatry.

drinoayo: The smart primary school student, Kayode, who wowed many with his campaign speech at a school in Osogbo has suffered defeat, Igbere TV reports.
In an earlier report which had a video of his public speech, the kid presented himself as the right candidate for the head boy position.
Kayode spoke with so much confidence that belied his age as he said that he is ready to be the voice of his peers and listen to their ideas.

FG SHEDS MORE LIGHT ON THE UBA’S TAKEOVER OF AEDC .. The Nigerian government has clarified the takeover of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) by United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc on Wednesday.
The bank took over the electricity company following the failure of the majority owners, the KANN Consortium to service their debt.
Upon taking over the company, UBA sacked the management and appointed interim managers after it assumed control, contrary to reports that President Muhammadu Buhari sacked the management.
In a statement by the Ministry of Power, it said, “The attention of the Federal Ministry of Power has been drawn to publications in the print and electronic media relating to recent changes in the ownership structure and management at the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc (“AEDC”).
“While noting that the news has largely been communicated out of context, the Ministry wishes to notify all stakeholders that the AEDC has, of recent, been facing significant operational challenges arising from a dispute between the core investors (KANN consortium) as owners of 60 per cent equity in AEDC and the UBA as lenders for the acquisition for the majority shareholding in the public utility.
“The situation has currently deteriorated due to lack of access to intervention finances leading to a point whereby legitimate entitlements of the staff are being owed thus leading to service disruptions on 6th December 2021 within its franchise area.
“The Federal Ministry of Power has since taken the initiative to engage organised labour and electricity service has since been restored in the FT and the states served by AEDC.
“The UBA, as a lender, and in exercising its rights over the shares of KANN Consortium in AEDC, has taken over the shares of the obligor in the AEDC. This takeover of the majority stake in AEDC by UBA has consequently led to the reported changes in the management of AEDC.
“The changes in shareholding in AEDC and the appointment of an interim management for AEDC by the shareholders has been endorsed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (the industry regulator) and the Bureau of Public Enterprises (“BPE” as co-shareholders in AEDC).
“The Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar Aliyu, wishes to reaffirm the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Power for working with all stakeholders to ensure service continuity in all areas served by the AEDC”.
Many reports on Tuesday said it was President Buhari who asked the Bureau of Public Enterprises to sack AEDC management and appoint a new one.
