Also, debaters from the same school are advised to put heads together and present excellence in their arguments. I believe you guys are wonderful It is going to be an interesting time to learn Goodluck..... |
@ FrancisTony and sakaguchi Please eschew abusing on this thread and Nairaland as a whole. YOU ARE WARNED ! !! !!! |
chukwuma00: I thought you were starvingNo, not me. Just soliciting for a sister |
@ Arosa I see those things to be elementary. Dont we really know what to do or we all neglect the needful? Also, the education you are talking about is not our own, it is from the West. The missionaries / colonial masters brought this. Didnt we receive the CORE part of education? Or is it that they concealed it from us and gave us trash. I once read on Nairaland that a secret was uncovered in Kenya which revealed that the missionaries/ colonial masters are only to teach us to read and not to reason and so on. It was the mandate they worked with. I cant recall other malicious mandates given to them according to that post. I discover that it seems the West go along with education easily because it is from them, it is inherent in them and it is their heritage, but we are lagging behind because we are only learning it and 'emulating' them. I think the problem comes from the impartation. We find it very easy to go along with our own heritage, culture and tradition but a little heat will be generated to absorb from the West. To be frank it seems we are naturally and intrinsically retarded. It seems we are naturally inferior to them in terms of reasoning and logicality? What do you see to this...... |
''Poor leadership'' is an aftermath of lack of crittical analysis and logic thinking. So also is tribalism, corruption ,etc. Arosa already said the encompassing solution- EDUCATION. I totally agree with him 100 percent.
So is it that our leaders dont know the right things to do or they refuse to do it? |
Still waiting and waiting patiently. I wish all debaters good luck. It is going to be a very tough one because those contestants are 'strong' |

ledafaze: Really, most of these suggestions are something needed but they really make me laugh knowing the amount of programming time and investment in server architecture to make this happen...You are right, but some can be done in the blinking of an eye without sweating |

Dilligently following |
Arosa: Good question! I we get back to you on that. Also who really need the EDUCATION? The followers? Or the leaders? |
Arosa: Those that have agreed so far that "EDUCATION" is key to solving Nigerian's problems.Good! We have many elites and pundits, many professors, academicians etc. Are we not educated enough? Or what type of EDUCATION do we really need? |
jahrule: Nigerian believe everything their leaders say, more so they leaders have successfully created hatred among different wards whereas they don`t see difference among themselves when sharing our common wealth.= poor leadership? |
Lack of critical analysis and logic thinking.
=poor leadership? |
kingbang: And do they have a stinking history of betrayal, suspicion, bad blood and intolerance?.Humm......so the history is still very much active to define our course? Also cant we change the course of history and shun seccession as an option? |
kettykin: ObasanjoOBJ ?? |
King George: Nigeria's problem is nothing but simply "NIGERIANS"Humm.... This is complex-complex. Can you please elaborate this point so that people can see the point clearly? |
jahrule: Gullibility is Nigeria problemHow? Can you please expatiate |
kingbang: Because our differences both cultural, religious and ethnic can never guarantee a stable and workable Nigeria!!!. Plus the major tribes here have a stinking history of betrayal, bad blood and intolerance. Divide the shiithole and let the sovereign states start afresh.Good! But we have other countries that are doing well despite more diversities than Nigeria. What do you see to this? |
ebonylady4real: In my school, LASPOTECH, both handouts & txtbooks which r written by d lecturers're sold, compulsoryThanks. But how can we stop this? |
kingbang: Nigeria's greatest problem is NIGERIA! Split this damn joke called Nigeria and all the Nations will have peace and witness good economic growth! How can seccession be the panacea? Why seccession? |
greatgod2012: Our greatest problem is electing/having law breakers as law enforcement agents! Thanks my sister. So you are taking Poor Leadership as our greatest problem? |
Mr Seun Seriously, the case of education section need an URGENT attention. I am always disturb whenever I visit that section. Topics about, Admission, UTME, post-UTME etc are TOO much. Thank God for topics about maths, english, debates and IQ. Please create a different section for admission, UTME and post UTME topics. I rarely see any topic that adds VALUE to me in education section. Also, topics on front page should be mainly topics that are 'value adding' Too much politics. Please check the front page now (12:15pm). Take an instance, last Sunday there was a topic about someone's opinion about a very controversial subject. It was a complete junk. I think topics on front page should be more of objectivity not subjectivity. They should be topics that adds value to we the forumites. Response needed ooo |
Mr Seun please consider 'ledafaze' comment above about creating a block for Christianity too, since we have that of Islam. I am very surprise that things as SIMPLE as this are happening. It is a sign of religion bi** |
