Don't mind them, they think they are wiser than the Chinese engineers. They must have put all those into consideration and must have subjected them to a very harsh condition as a test before they are erected. And that is not the only prefabricated building in China, there are tons of it, yet we hear more of a building collapse in this our nature friendly country than China that has more natural disasters.

Well, sometimes it depends on the design, and most times it's a matter of choice... but since you asked, it means you have a love for elevated dining (wink) so entertain yourself and have it so. (150mm - 300mm wld do)

No sir, im not a fan of elevated dining, just that people including wifey said i should do elevated dining. I prefer same level but they say it's no longer in vogue.

So you're envisaging that while the lobby(s) will be stepped up every other section of the house will be stepped down. It will look good. It's all about your choice. But I'll advice if you're doing such, ensure the stepped down is 100mm(4" instead of 150mm(6".

I was actually thinking keeping all the rooms same level, ie if I'm stepping down I will step down the whole rooms in the house to be same level . But if I'm not stepping down then no room (including the sitting room) will be stepped down.
So I don't know how it will look like make the whole rooms step down. Any body has similar structures?

If you like it go for it. A step of 150mm (½ft) is good.

Depends on individual choices. Some prefer elevated dining. Personally, I prefer a level ground all over the house so long as the topography of the compound permits.

I'm stepping the sitting room down. So I don't how it's going to look like.

You can install a DB carcass with the breaker, it's safe . 4way 3-phase is okay for the 3bedeoom base on the analysis given above .

If you are planning to install a Centra stabilizer you don't need individual stabilizer for your equipment again.

Pls can the carcass of a dB be installed first if the site location is not secure?
Also if I use a central stabilizer for a 3bdrm apartment do I still need to use normal stabilizers for home appliances and pumping machine?
And lastly, what dB will be suitable for a 3bdrm... No heater, 2ac, 1cooker point, lighting and sockets.

sometime you want to seperate inverter/solar load from AC/WATER HEAVY STUFF from inverter.. good to have smaller d4 single phase by the side of the big D8/D6...

Any remains of material used on the client's site is the client's.
After wiring a house you don't go with remaining wires, sockets etc.
The bricklayers don't go with the blocks remaining..
If you construct a head tank on my site, whatever is remaining is mine.

if his quote was to paint the house completely and you pay him,he owns whatever that's left including paints. If he quoted that he needs twenty buckets of paints and you paid and he brought them to site. Later, there's half tin left,na you get am.


Play it out like this, I can give you my price of doing a tank stand and then knowing that I can't buy extra materials in your location, I can buy few extra materials just in case there's need for it. I own them after the work.


But if I list materials you need and you pay for them, even the off cut isn't mine to take without you asking me to.

Second, the type of windows will cost more than casement.
Third, casement is more expensive than sliding.

I and my friends don't like these windows, they are local and cheap. We love expensive POP windows.

Play with height. Introduce air vents in critical areas. Factor in sunbreakers in areas with exposed windows.

Think indoor garden. Atrium. Courtyard and so on.

There are several ways to cool a house apart from using windows.

yah, u are correct sir, the halve side of sliding have block the ventilation already, so I think high land will prefer the sliding because of their area, there is more ventilation in high land compared to main land here,

I think it's because the airflow in sliding is halfed. ie casement has a better airflow.
