Bonaventura: I am not bro. America is not the Eldorado country most of the people imagine. There's gun proliferation in America. There's deep-rooted racism in America. There's organized crime in America. If you don't check you won't know.
Moreover, think of the crimes America is committing in other climes. Think of Libya. Think of Iraq Think of Vietnam The list is endless... I am not talking about their meddling in other peoples affairs. Go through history every great country has done it and is still doing it. I am talking about the topic which is how safe is Nigeria or America for that matter. You have to live it to understand it. |

Bonaventura: Now think of these: 1.Policeman shooting a black man dead for nothing in the street of New York.
2. A Nigerian being in a night club in Las Vegas and getting blasted into pieces by overzealous homophobic terrorist. 3. Donald Trump deporting you and labelling you a terrorist when you legally acquired American citizenship.
America is a merchant of terror. More people are killed by police brutality in America than any country in Europe. Arguably, more homicide is committed in America daily than any other country in the world.
More mass shootings occur in America. What on earth is not worse is America? Are you sure you are not describing Nigeria? |

ziga: In the African culture, we are taught to respect our elders and that they can do no wrong.
That would be fine if in fact they did no wrong.
It is a culture that was made to subdue and enslave the mind. And that is why Nigeria has been held back for so many years by these so called Elders/political leaders. The same eh sir/yes sir culture has corrupted the whole place.
And BTW, I think it is right to be thankful when it is deserved. Are you sure you are Nigerian? Your post has the hallmark of someone with sense. |

BellaElla: Yes it's proper. When we were growing up, we were taught that you should thank the elderly ones in the room after eating. I still do that to anyone that is older than me when I eat. I am igbo by the way. Proper in what way? What are you thanking her for? Don't get me wrong, we were taught the same thing but with a difference. You say it to your own parents or whoever provided the meal. How does this make sense to you? These are the reasons why i believe Nigerians need serious re orientation. |
Christianity Etc › Re: It Is A Sin For Ladies To Put On Trousers To Church by Bollinger(m): 9:37am On Mar 26, 2017 |
CrEaToRmalden: The same way we debate over what we as humans know is wrong. You can put on your trousers anywhere but as a christian we all deem ourselves to be, you should appear different when at the church. Why.. ? To give your creator the respect he deserves if you believe that He exist.
Now, You as a male counterpart, why not put on a skirt or blouse to the church.
I hate some christians for always giving foolish reasons for irrelevant acts simply because they're guilible. Thats why I respect our Muslim brothers, they're very strict and do not debate over what they know is wrong and unacceptable to their religion. As a lady, putting on trousers to the church is as bad as a gentleman putting on skirt to the church. Show me a verse in the bible which depicts what a woman will wear in 2017. You are confusing acceptable fashion with religion. |

nzeobi: Trouser is in no way a male cloth, we have male trouser and then female trouser. Any man saying trouser is for male should put on jeggings let's see
Decency in dressing is what people should focus on You are funny. What is "male cloth"? Show me a verse in the bible which depicts what type of clothing a woman wears. You do realize that back in the day, men and women used to wear robes which basically are gowns. right? |
