The lightning speed with which Femi Fani-Kayode put together his latest call for mass suicide to Ndigbo in response to the unfortunate (and dangerous) press release by SSS over the killing of Fulani Herdsmen in Aba has left me wondering; Why is Femi bent on hoodwinking and brainwashing a section of Ndi Igbo? What is his interest and/or ulterior motives in matters relating to Ndigbo? His love for Ndigbo? Hallucination over his unsavory romance with Igbo ladies?


Having followed Femi’s diabolic vomits for some time now, I have come to the conclusion that he is a foul-mouthed psycho-terrorist brainwashing Ndi Igbo.

And he is succeeding just as Boko Haram is succeeding with the young girls that blow themselves up for a cause they don’t understand.

The evidence that he is succeeding could be seen in the numerous Umu Igbo sharing his poison on social media and asking you to forget the messenger and just swallow the message.But if the messenger has been diagnosed with a chronic case of bipolar political disorder, should we be listening to him?

Most importantly, if you arrive at the conclusion that the ultimate goal of the messenger is to sacrifice the blood of Umu Igbo at the altar of nation building, do I still want to read his trash? It’s okay for Femi to proclaim his prophesies of imminent war in Nigeria, but why must hechoose Umu Igbo as the vessel to igniting the unquenchable fire that will consume everyone?


The brave hunter D.O. Fagunwa in Ogboju Ode ninu Igbo Irunmole said; I can dance and you can beat the drum, let us cooperate. But when Femi rolled out his broken drums for the Yoruba nation, they abandoned him at the market square and refused to dance. So, he wandered east, crossing the Niger River and settled at the bank of Njaba River.

No need wasting my time here with what he wrote (and truly believe) about Ndigbo in one of those his transient bipolar states.If Femi is not reminding Ndigbo that the “future belongs to the oppressed” he is telling Nigerians of “a well-orchestrated attempt to Islamise our country and suppress the practice of Christianity”.Yesterday it was, “why would the younger generation of the Igbo not agitate and fight for the establishment of Biafra? Today he is questioning why Ndi Igbo should be held back from retaliation (killing Fulani men).

I will leave it there as I wouldn’t like to descend to Femi’s level of psycho-paralytic analysis of events in Nigeria. But remember that yesterday, just yesterday he was part of the political class that plundered the national wealth and even headed the campaign for the reelection of the most dangerously corrupt administration in Nigeria. I don’t know what suddenly changed. But, even if you are to agree with his insinuations and call for Armageddon, as Onye Igbo, have you asked yourself why the blood of your people, your brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers must be sacrificed for the ‘emancipation’of Nigeria?

What Femi is doing is craftily inflating the emotions of some Umu Igbo and pushing them to artificial height rather than pointing them to true self-assessment. Paraphrasing Abd-ru-shin (The Grail Message), in order to ascent as to real height, these Umu Igbo should first descend from this artificial height Femi has pushed them to. It is our sons and daughters that are currently being slaughtered by the crude security forces in the streets of Aba and Onitsha, not Femi’s sons, and definitely not his brothers and cousins.

As Ndigbo, whenever we feel aggrieved, we should take the fight to our state houses in Awka, Enugu, Owerri, Umuahia and Abakaliki; weshould hold the elected senators and members of the Federal house hostage when they come back home. We can and should galvanize these energy currently being wasted on our streets by mobilizing signatures and recalling non performing elected officials. That’s positive energy and not this present acts of inflicting wound on ourselves- cutting our nose to spite our face.

Fani-Kayode will not participate in the war he is preaching

You know I know what you are thinking; I am Buhari’s apologist and as such should not be taken serious. Yes, I am his apologist (on many issues), but this time I am seeking relevance in a different context: relevance in making sure that my generation did not repeat the same mistakes of my father’s generation. For those fasting and praying for Biafra, be reminded that the average number of years of the wars for the actualization of two youngest independent states in Africa (Eritrea and South Sudan) is 25 years. In the last Biafran war, we managed to survive thirty months with about 2 million lives lost. That is not hoodwinking, but the reality of war you should have in your head (not your heart) as you nod to the beat of war from Femi’s broken drums.


Now, let me introduce myself to you Femi; this is Segwo, Nwa Onye Nkuzi, and I have been granted full authority by the spirit of my father and forefathers to address you. I will thus address you in the language in which immortals speak to men (I got permission from Chinua Achebe).

The restless spirit of Femi, I salute you. The contagious virus attempting to ignite ethno-religious cleansing in Nigeria; clap for yourself (with your legs). While you are trying to figure that out, know it that you are a stranger to the pains and suffering of my people during the last civil war in Nigeria and as such your display of sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. While my people werekilled and slaughtered, you were at your mama’s back eating akara and thus, knew not the pains of the treacherous journey of the civil war.

Now, you are beating your drums of war, inciting my people to go and commit another mass suicide.Femi, you are a war monger and I rebuke you to leave my people alone. My advice is that the earlier you stop viewing everything in Nigeria with your cracked ethnic and religious lens, the quicker you bipolar paralysis will be cured. While you may be getting all the attention for the “wrong” or “right” reasons, your bigoted incitement have no place in the discussion of a realistic solutions to “Igbo problem” nor Nigeria problem.

Your political ideology emphasizes difference, disunity and destruction rather than the qualities of unity, productive and constructive energy that every Onye Igbo needs to thrive and survive in different parts of Nigeria. Your negative inducement and mobilization of ill-informed elements in South East will only perpetuate the alienation of Ndi Igbo from the root of our existence.

A warning to Ndigbo


To my people Umu Igbo, I will sound the last trumpet; rather than promoting hatred with Femi, I urge you to find ways of promoting freedom without destroying the very ingredients that might be essential to the vibrancy of Igbo nation. To think and act otherwise will only qualify you, together with Femi as loudmouth-terrorists to the same Igbo nation you are struggling to “save”.

On a final note, know it that every Onye Igbo in Nigeria is an anthill. Every corner of Nigeria is a soil and we all know that an anthill is a brother to the soil. So, do not destroy nor contaminate the soil.A tuoro omara, o mara, a tuoro ofeke, o fenye ishi n’ohia.

For many Africans, the tradition of the bride price payment became a subject of serious controversy. If God specifically gave this law as a condition for marriage, or is it a man-made tradition? Time to find out the truth!



1. Bride price is not a condition for marriage but only as a penalty for rape.

Exodus 22:16-17:“If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to bemarried and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins.”Deuteronomy 22:28-29:“If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels[a] of silver. He must marry the youngwoman,for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.”You can still pay the bride price and still be denied the woman to be your wife by her father.At the same time, if the man has never slept with the woman, there should be no need to pay money for her.

– The killing of Ejike Agodo, a prominent Igbo businessman in
Bayelsa state has sparked off a protest march by Igbo traders
in the state

– Agodo was shot dead by suspected armed robbers a few
hours before his planned trip overseas to restock his boutique

– The Igbo traders staged a peaceful protest march to the
state police headquarters to register their complaint over the
wave of killings


Igbo traders in Bayelsa state took to the street to protest the
killing of a boutique owner, Ejike Agodo in Amarata community
of Yenagoa local government area of the state.

Agodo was shot by suspected armed robbers at about 3.30pm
on Monday, April 11, few hours before his planned trip
overseas to restock his boutique, Leadership reports.

The suspected robbers were said to have broken into the
victim’s house of on Overcomer road, and demanded money
from him.

Agodo, who owned a popular boutique, Omars Fashion Plaza,
at the OMPADEC area of the Yenagoa-Mbiama road reportedly
told his assailants that there was no cash at home because
shops in the capital city were shut down for about four days in
honour of the late former governor of the state, Diepreye
Alamieyeseigha, who was buried last Saturday.


After they ransacked his house, they shot him in the presence
of his newly wedded wife.

Some angry traders who suspect the gunmen were hired
assassins staged a peaceful protest and marched many
kilometres to the state police headquarters to express their
apprehension on the wave of serial killings of prominent Igbo
businessmen in the state.

The traders led by Chief Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa, the president of
Ohaneze Youth Council, lamented that Agodo was killed a few
days after gunmen suspected to be assassins murdered
another successful Igbo businessman, Ugochukwu, alias Ugo
Best.


An anonymous disclosed that Ugochukwu was killed by
gunmen operating in commercial tricycles who blocked his car
on his way home after business that day
Confirming the incident, the state police public relations officer
said efforts were being made to apprehend the fleeing
suspects.

Supporters of former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo celebrated, his 45th birthday anniversary in Warri, Delta state.
Vanguard reports that Austin Ozobo, the president of Ijaw Peoples’ Development Initiative, and Dickson Bekederemo, the president of Niger Delta Security Watch Organisation of Nigeria, were among the guests attending the party.


Tompolo who had been earlier declared wanted by the the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was absent during the celebration. Though in his absentia, his friends, kidsmen and supporters decided to prepare a beautiful 45th birthday cake for him.

On Friday, 1st of April, 2016, along the Yoruba
mosque axis of the Maitama district, a biker, Mr.
Somar Ain Al Shaibeh was on an afternoon ride, kitted
with his helmet. Unknown to the rider, a woman
driving a Toyota Matrix car with Plate Number BW 227
RSH out of impatience was carelessly driving against
traffic as to avoid the traffic gridlock caused by a
mosque on her rightful lane, and decided to drive one-
way through the very dangerous bend.

Before the rider could sight the oncoming vehicle, it was too
late and a head-on collision became unavoidable. He was hit
by the woman, unconscious and was rushed to the hospital,
and a case was lodged with the police.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, brother Somar passed on. After his
death, the Abuja Riders Community tried to reach the woman
through the IPO, Abah Emmanuel, of the Maitama police
station, and so many shocking details was revealed to them
by the IPO.


According to the IPO;

1. The woman who caused the accident was neither arrested
for wrong driving nor made to leave a statement with the
police. She was allowed to leave for her home directly from
the hospital where the rider was rushed to.

2. The whereabouts of the woman and her car is unknown as
it was not taken to the police station. IPO claims they have
orders to lodge accidents cars at the VIO, this is apparently
not true as efforts to compel the officer to let the Abuja bikers
team to sight the vehicle with the supposed VIO was resisted
by the police. The bikers were threatened with arrest if they
kept insisting on sighting the vehicle. They also do not have in
possession her car papers as well as driver’s license.

3. Asides the woman’s phone number, the police have no
other information about her, and all efforts to reach her on
phone have been abortive as she refused to answer calls.

4. The car, a TOYOTA MATRIX with plate number BW 227 RSH
is suspected to be carrying an illegal plate number.
Investigations carried out by the Riders comunity revealed the
woman's Identity as they discovered that her name is Victoria
Christopher Umoren and she is a lawyer who works with the
National Boundary Commision.

The Riders Community is appealing to well-meaning Nigerians
and media outlets not to let this matter be covered up in any
form as it indicates, something sinister is already happening.
A young man's life has just been wasted.

The Bikers are law abiding members of the society and are
ready to release video evidences if the police insist on not
taking appropriate action. There are testimonies from eye
witnesses at the scene of the accident and picture evidences of
events that occurred throughout this period.

If the police refuses to bring this woman to book, the biking
community insist that they shall rise up to resist this with all
legal means possible so as to ensure their free right to
movement and association is not infringed upon. They
passionately appeal to the public to join hands with them in
this noble cause.

They also wish to let the general public to know that they shall
call an international press conference within 48hours if the
police refuse to do what is legitimate by producing the woman
and prosecute the case.


The Bikers wishes to let the general public understand that;

1. Bikers are fun loving hard working Nigerians, you can’t own
a bike if you are not hardworking and productive, the notion
that bikers are irresponsible and jobless is false and
inappropriate.

2. Last week the NTA tried to cook up a story that a reckless
biker had caused an accident without prior investigation.
However, on investigation, the story was found to be untrue.
This is how we are daily treated by car users and the media.

3. We shall continue to enlighten the community that biking
like every other sport has its own lovers and they should
therefore be treated fairly. Power bikes are a means of
transportation and users are covered within the ambits of the
law to use it as so.

4. The biking community in Abuja and Nigeria wish to call the
attention of all media houses, well-meaning Nigerians and the
international community to the series of negative actions daily
meted by car users and the FCT administration on Bikers

A witness in the trial of the former chairman House committee
on subsidy claims, Farouk Lawan has told an Abuja High Court
that oil magnate, Femi Otedola received $233 million from the
federal government illegally.

Boniface Emenalo, who was tagged as prosecution witness 1
(PW1) said the money received through Otedola’s company
Zenon oil and gas limited was slated as subsidy for some
petroleum products.

Emenalo said while the Nigerian government paid off the
subsidy claims made by the company, no petroleum products
were supplied by Otedola.

Emenalo, a former secretary of the committee said the one of
the committee’s responsibility was to determine the existence
of any form of cabal linked to the importation of petroleum
products into Nigeria.

He said the committee was also saddled with the responsibility
of fishing out companies or individuals who received subsidies
for products not delivered and infractions with the forex
trading.


Emenalo’s counsel, Mike Ozehkome told the court that
committee discovered that not all companies that appeared
before it was part of the subsidy scam.

He said that the committee in its investigations found out that
some companies obtained maximum exchange for importation
of petroleum products.

He however, stated that most of these companies never used
these exchange for the stipulated purpose.

The witness had earlier told the police that the committee sent
invitations to various stakeholders, Kareem Otaru and the
former managing director of Zenon oil and gas limited who
denied involvement in the subsidy scam.

But he said investigations by the committee revealed that the
forex AP got was used by Zenon oil.

“While the investigation was on, the MD for Zenon oil called me
to tell me his chairman wanted to see me, Otedola called me
and invited me to his house, this meeting I also relayed to my
chairman (Lawan),” Emenalo said.

Emenalo also denied assuring Otedola that the committee
chairman would delete his company name from the list of
subsidy scam artists within the cabal.

He added that it was during a second meeting with the oil
magnate on April 22, 2016 that he received $100,000.

He said the $100,000 was meant to serve as exhibit in the
matter.

He said the exhibit would also help prove that members of the
committee were bribed and pressured into the release of its
final report that saw to the removal of many names.

After listening to the testimony of PW1, the judge, Angela
Otaluka adjourned the matter due to the absence of a second
witness to Wednesday, April 13 for continuation of trial.

Lawan is facing trial for receiving bribe up to the tune of $
620,000 million from oil magnate, Femi Otedola.

The money was meant to help the oil magnate delete his
company name from a list of marketers indicted in the fuel
subsidy scandal in Nigeria.

The Rivers state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) has called on the Minister of Transportation Chibuike
Rotimi Amaechi not to heed the call by the National Assembly
to apologize or resign, following the brickbats between the
legislative arm and the executive, over the removal of the
Calabar–Lagos rail project from the final 2016 budget.

Amaechi yesterday affirmed that the rail project was in the
budget but removed by the committees of Appropriation in the
Senate and the House of Representatives.

In a statement, the Rivers PDP Chairman Felix Obuah
wondered why a mere controversy over a ministry’s budget
that is an infinitesimal part of the 2016 budget proposal should
warrant the calls for Amaechi’s resignation.

Transport minister Amaechi is facing growing calls for his
resignation

“We believe it’s rather too early to begin to quarrel with Rotimi
Amaechi or call for his resignation when he is yet to fix the
Nigeria he promised would be changed by his new found love,
the almighty APC in matter of months,” Obuah said.

“Again, Amaechi remains our beloved son who said he single-
handedly sponsored and made His Excellency, Muhammadu
Buhari president and he is yet to recoup the billions of Rivers
money he invested into the project.

“Amaechi also said he planned to construct the controversial
Lagos-Calabar rail line modernization project to empower the
APC members in the South-South.

“This lofty dream will not be actualized if he resigns now.”


The Rivers PDP boss, who said he was not surprised by
Amaechi’s character, said that rather than requesting for
Amaechi’s apology or resignation, members of the legislative
arm should use their differences, claims and counter claims to
reflect on the kind of persons that are considered for sensitive
offices.

“Though the National Assembly members may feel hurt by
Amaechi’s ingratitude after it had accepted to deliberate over
the later included supplementary budget which he later went
public to claim was contained in the original budget proposal,
thereby portraying the federal lawmakers as partial and
discriminatory,” he said.

The senior PDP official said the main reason for Amaechi’s
mischief was to create the impression that he has the interest
of the South/South people at heart which is a fallacy.

The scandal originally erupted over the Calabar-Lagos rail
project
“I am happy that Amaechi has carried his antics of setting
brother against brother to the very Senate that screened and
confirmed his ministerial appointment. I want the lawmakers to
use same to reflect on all the submissions by not only the PDP,
but also the people, the civil society and concerned citizens etc,
before they went on to confirm his (Amaechi) appointment
despite several allegations of corruption and breaches of the
Rule of law by Amaechi.

his allies and the All Progressives Congress, APC have

A snake with two heads has been captured in the USA by 42
year old Jason Talbott, who found the snake living in the wild,
before photographing it and taking it into captivity. Although it looks a bit beastly, the snake is harmless and Jason admitted that its bite would not be enough to break a human’s skin.

Jason said: ‘It is estimated that it is 1 in 10,000 but it is hard
to know a true number as they are wild and elusive animals
and survival rate is very low.


‘I’m a massive fan of creepy crawlies and snakes – I’ve
photographed hundreds of them and received a fair few bites
along the way. Fortunately they were non-venomous ones.
‘The snake had been found by a few of my friends in the wild
and when I heard about it, I jumped at the opportunity to get
some photos.

‘What was funny about the snake was that the two-heads had
different personalities. One of the heads was very aggressive
and kept trying to bite at objects.

‘But the problem was, because they both shared the same
body, the aggressive head needed the other one’s cooperation
to move. It was quite funny to watch, really.’

The presidency on Monday, April 11, has denied that the 2016
budget was rejected by President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was disclosed by Ita Enang, the senior special assistant
(SSA) to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly
Matters (Senate) in an interview with NAIJ.com.

He said that the President convened a meeting and gave each
of the ministers, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs)
an opportunity to look at the details of the budget submitted by
the National Assembly.

He added that the budget was given to the different ministries
to enable him make a decision on the budget.

“It is not true that the budget has been rejected by the
Presidency. The president received the budget and convened
emergency federal executive council meeting and gave each of
the ministers, ministries, departments and agencies the
opportunity to look at the details as submitted by the National
Assembly to enable him get opinion on the state of the budget
to enable him take a decision.


“That exercise was conducted on Friday and it is ongoing by
the different ministers and ministries. The constitutional time
for Mr President receiving and considering the budget began
Friday last week.

“The question of returning the budget has not arisen,” he said.
He further added that he will not speak more on the matter
except to adopt the opinion that was expressed by Lai
Mohammed, the Minister of information who said that the
appraisal of the budget is still on-going.

Enang said this is because the ministers are working for the
President and with the President who are examining the details
of the budget.

“So the question has not arisen as to returning or otherwise.
But I want to say the best way we as liaison officers are
handling this matter is to speak less and work more creating
interactions. So we will raise more interactions, consultations,
engagement,” he concluded.


Enang however failed to comment on when the National
Assembly accused the executive of the Railway Calabar project
not being contained in the budget because its examination is
still ongoing.

It was earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari
rejected the 2016 budget sent to him for assent by the National
Assembly because he felt disappointed that provisions for
major national projects and programmes were either removed
or funds were slashed.

After the budget was scrutinized by the ministers at an
emergency meeting it was noticed that some major aspects
considered to be government’s core infrastructural focus had
been removed.

Some of the major projects include the Calabar-Lagos coastal
rail line for which Buhari made a provision of N60 billion.
While the executive had provided for the completion of all key
road projects across Nigeria, the National Assembly cut the
amounts provided and instead included new roads which
studies are yet to be conducted.


President Buhari received the comprehensive details of 2016
national budget
on Thursday. April 7.

A 19-year-old young man, Sean Williams, has busted the
buttocks of his 26-year-old older lover, Tamela Martin, during
sex.


Radar Online reports that Tamela was reported to have called
911 after Sean made her butts to explode while they were
having sex doggy style. Recounting the experience, she said:

“We was doing it and then he flipped me over and began to
tear it up from the back. Asked him several times to be gentle,
then I began to beg him to stop. That’s when he started going
harder. I felt pressure building up in my booty and it felt like
my booty was trippling in size, I felt the skin stretching. It was
a pain I never experienced.”


Tamela who recently got butt enlargement injections was
rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital after 911 got to the scene
of the accident. Williams is however being charged with assault
as they claim he ignored her pleas to stop during sex and is
therefore culpable.
Officer Doug Davis of DeKalb County Police Department said:
“Even though she knew the risks, Sean Williams was still
arrested because he was asked to stop and he disregarded the
victim’s request. This has got to be the strangest assault case
I’ve encountered.”

Sean Williams has been charged with one count of Sexual
Assault and one count of Aggravated Assault. Tamela Martin is
still in the hospital and is expected to recover.

”Today, the 10th April 2016 around 11 this morning, a police

her around and handling her inappropriately.

the police.”
