Does this not clearly show that GOD cannot be tempted ? If Jesus is GOD , how come he was tempted ? Are you saying GOD has a multiple personality disorder ?

It is obvious these trinitarians don't know their God. Their have the word of God but have chosen to follow the doctrine of men.

You should asked him this which he must answer.

If Jesus is God, why was he tempted since James 1:13 says, "God cannot be tempted"?

It is by being divine, cos we that are ugly cannot look like God. Read those verses well and you will also see where he prayed to the Father not himself.

They don't know that if the have unlimited ability to use the breath(spirit) which God has put in them, they can use it to heal, release it to flow on the surface of the waters, make it appear as a dove or man, create things with it, put their spirit in things they creat and communicate with them through their spirit, etc. This is just an illustration of how God use His spirit. but man can't control their spirit.

I agree with you. The Holy Spirit is God Almighty. Acts 5:3,4 says it all. v3 says they lied to the Holy Spirit, v4 says they lied not to men, but God. Holy Spirit is not man or force, but God, equal with the Father and Messiah.

shdemidemi: ^^^ In this dispensation, the Age of Grace, it's not Jesus who does the baptizing but the Holy Spirit Who is the One doing the baptizing. And He baptizes believers into Christ. It's just a complete reversal to what had been taking place. You have to understand God is one with three entities within him, then the role of the Holy Spirit can then be fully understood.

I thought we corrected what you corrected all that you said about Jesus being the Father in the flesh and you never said anything about that?

The Perfect Sabbath Is In God's Place Of Rest.

This is what sabbath means for those who are in Christ. Those who want to still follow the sabbath as it was written in the law of Moses are cheating themselves and/or are living in ignorance. Let look at what our Lord revealed through the Apostles.

Hebrews 4:3-10

New International Version (NIV)

3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,

“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”

And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.” 5 And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”

6 Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, 7 God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.

Explanation
There is a "place of rest" in God and a "day of rest(ie Sabbath day)." these are two different things. Sabbath=rest form works and Sabbath day is the day of that rest.

Joshua did not lead the people into that into that place of rest v8 even as they rest every Sabbath day. Another day was spoken of which is "Today" if you listen to His voice.

In v3, you will see that God is now resting since He finished His works long ago. Those who enter that place of rest where our God is having His rest are those who have believe/exercised faith v3. So there is a Sabbath resting for the people of God, If you enter God's rest you are observing your Sabbath, v9,10. You can enter that rest today by exercising faith in Christ, through him you will go to the Father and rest with Him.

Therefore those who pride themselves in saying that they changed the sabbath day and it was acceptable by the whole world are doing so in ignorance. The same goes to those insisting that the sabbath day must be saturday. The Lord of the sabbath(Jesus) has given us a perfect sabbath and so it is for those who enter God's rest.

Those who tell you that you have sinned for not going to church on sunday or a sabbath day are just ignorant. this is what the Truth has given his followers:
Colossians 2:16

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

The word of God is what made the church the pillar and foundation of truth, 1Tim 2:15. You can choose any day to fellowship with the brethren but you enter God's rest any day any time.

We cannot be deceived. Lets go to the scripture.
Col 1:17-18
He is before all things,....
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence.

It never said preeminence means firstborn. It says, that he might have preeminence over all things. All things include:
1 being the beginning
2 being the image of God
3 being the firstborn of every creature
4 being the firstborn from the dead, etc.

Learn to stick with what the scripture says and not what men are teaching you.

That God written there is the father,Son and Holy spirit together just like when the bible said that after christ has subdued everything,he hands it over to God so that God will be all in all.after Jesus subdues everthing and finishes his time of dispensation via the 1000yr reign ,the trinity agreed that they will rule together as God for all Eternity.that God there does not mean the father alone but all three members of the Godhead.

Don't you see how you are trying so hard to tell us that the 3 Gods will agree to rule as one God. Please show us how this is possible with the bible verses.

God existed from eternity through the beginning when Jesus became the firstborn of Gods creation, Col 1:15. Throne, lordship, earth etc are 2nd, 3rdborn etc in no particular order. This is why he is the beginning, v18. The beginning was when creation started.

"For him" means he is the heir of all that God created through him.

pls explain what you understand from reading col 1:15-18 as benalvino asked you.

Jesus is the image of the invisible God and we are also made in the image of that same God. After him being the firstborn(ie first creature) of everything created in v15, all thing were now made through him. If you must understand v16, you must read and meditate on 1Cor 15:27-28.

Because if i show you where Jesus called the Father "Lord of heaven and earth" and also show you where Jesus is called the Lord of lords and ask you, "Is Jesus Lord over the Father who is the Lord of heaven and earth? You will not know what to say.

What we use to believe the time we were small is that gods refers to idols alone ie false gods, just because we take in whatever they teach us.

Now that we are mature enough to read and understand, i showed you where God called His children gods and you are still talking about false gods. Did God call his children false gods in Psalm 82:6? I don't like twisting o cos i never mentioned false gods.

Put Yahweh in that verse and it will read, "before Abraham, Yahweh." does that make sense? He was not telling them his name. I can also say "I AM Boomark" means "Yahweh Boomark" and you can't prove me wrong, can you? God said, my NAME is I AM WHO I AM. Did Jesus say the same thing, about his NAME? huh

Now stop thinking along with the Jews. In Jn 10:33, they wanted to stone Jesus because they said he is making himself God while Jesus said he is the son of God. Jesus answered them in v34 "... you are gods." according to the law but they don't know that.

Jesus was trying to tell them that he is a god because he is the son of God. Read Ps 82:6. Sons of God are gods.

Don't follow the mistakes of the Jews.

May be your spirit of revelation is different from the one that inspired what is written.

You assuming and imposing a lot on what is written. If we all start assuming like this then not body will use the bible as reference anymore.

The Father is greater than all including Jesus. Do you disagree? God is the giver of the holyspirit. He gave to jesus. Jesus gave the spirit he received to the apostles. Do you see how it works? That the apostles have the holyspirit in them does not make the God.

The same way you are IN Christ and Christ in you is the same way Christ is in the Father. If you are in Christ, you are "one" with him. So you can now say, "I and Christ are one."

What they did was just casting stone on him. If i say "I am already existing before your father was born." you will take it as an insult. Compare them with what the Moslems can do when you insult their prophets, though this people own worse.

Maybe you can ask that question on what happened in Jn 10:33.
