for both of your questions Jesus christ is just humbling himself before the father, telling us that as God the father was his father,He was also their father.that is One thing present in the trinity.It does not make Jesus any less than God.

and if you have a son and tell him your father says go home does it make sense? you are his father how can you tell him what his father says... if you use I said Go home then it makes sense.
