KhiaW: I don't believe that Peter Pan crap because his siblings shared the same childhood as he and they weren't messed up in the head like he was. Mhen, you write well and I indeed expected you to be twice as smart. Were they as HOT AS MICHAEL? MJ was barely 5years old when he started trending heavily, he was 5 when he started attending shows, rehearsals and co. You can't compare MJ's Fame to that of his siblings, the only time he "experienced' what it feel like to shop in a mall, his management had to book the entire mall for a day and had his team act like cashier and other customers so Michael Jackson could have that " shopping feeling" He was famous from 5 till his death |

Why did you think that mj changed everything about him and looked like a woman?
He claimed he was diagnosed with the skin disorder vitiligo, did it also affects he's voice?
Did it also make him behave like a woman?
Have you ever asked yourself this question Some men are naturally feminine but again, I might want to agree with you on the self-esteem issue because MJ had Peter pan syndrome and that's because he never experience childhood, has become a star right from when he was a kid |

He wanted to be white. You put some good points and I believe a few personal research would have saved you from this. Check YouTube and read on Michael Jackson Pepsi commercial video and you will know why his hair texture changed. He was burnt right on STAGE! |

There's a process to everything, a baby must crawl before trying to walk and must perfect walking before trying to Run. This is a process, but what will happen when a day old baby should attempt walking/running We are not against the youth being successful so far they do not ignore or negate the proper PROCESS! but this is a generation, a generation where a young boy of 15years (that should still be in school or preparing for WAEC) is already attempting to buy VENZA and build duplex? I can go on and on and on. But let's keep finding excuses to back up the moral decadence, moral bankruptcy in the society! E GO REACH EVERYBODY LAS LAS! lacasera14: I'll advice y'all to take everything the op is saying with a pinch of salt. I served in Kano 2020 during the pandemic, Dambatta Local Government, 1hr 30mins away from the city. Camp was fun even tho I barley had it. The village was peaceful, food was cheap, transport was cheap, life was cheap, free accomodations, to watch match was just N20, charge phone N20, go to the city every weekend to unwind in Sabon Gari and at Christ Embassy or Winners Chapel lodge. If na babes you want, your fellow corpers plenty wey you fit knack if you want. Corpers lodge is always free, no dull moment. We moved in groups and everyone in the village knows us. They respect us and treat us nicely. Even in the school. No violence whatsoever.
But Sha prepare for extreme heat, extreme cold, no alcohol, no betting shop, no fine girls to toast, you'll only see people wearing long gowns, no fashion sense. It's just for one year, you won't die. And you can always come to the city which is more developed than most Southern cities.
One year to see the other side of life and appreciate diversity. Some of you are too local you don't know travel is part of education. Even Bill Gate's wife came to Africa to assist. Nothing you get you de form. Abegi. Kano Rocks my people. You're right on the above, 100% |

As it is now the economy is totally down. no fuel, no light! how then will the youths survive? or they should be at ur site working for 2k per day b4 u know they are hardworking? basic amenities other countries have is what we see here as miracles.. the youths might now be soiling their hands with crimes but this country pushed them into it. check most self made who claimed to have struggled they all had a rich background eg dangote. some youths have to provide almost everything for themselves and still yet the economy cant make it easy for one to survive. why am even saying all these you already know but i dont know whatever you took that made u spew that foolish comment but next time pls dont.. you might get attacked! michlins: tell you the truth, even the Igbo apprenticeship system is dying.
Right now, traders no longer take apprentices but will rather employ people to work and get paid. Unfortunately these people are more interested in their salaries than taking the skills. For the past few years, not a single young person have come to do apprenticeship program in my business. Not just me but my colleagues too. They will come today and complain about the job being too difficult.
The advent of scam "Yahoo" isn't helping matters at all. Why spend years under the scorching heat of the sun when you can dedicate months on pressing phone and suddenly you're a millionaire.
Wahala dey this country unfortunately both the leaders and masses don't even realize it yet. In a decade or two, our population will explode and there's no job to lubricate the economy We can keep blaming the government but we are the problem because at this point, even if the government should provide well paying job for everybody with a minimum salary of 100k, bag of rice pushed back to 5k, most of these youth would rather do yahoo and prostitution! That's how spoilt the country is now. The youth are not ready to work for 20years again before buying duplex and cruising in bigger cars. The youth no longer value jobs worth 150k, they want to press laptops and make 2m monthly even the young ladies with no single skill are using iphones valued at over 600k!!! The GREED is now deeper!

Solid! Why most nigerians do die without a will 1)Ignorance, most believe WILL is meant for the very wealthy people and that their family would share what's left accordingly. 2) Ignorance again, Most people do not factor in "Death" to their day to day activities, we've all forgotten DEATH can come in at anytime so they live and postponed the "will" to the critical moment.
You can start preparing your WILL the very moment you start earning your first money and you can always EDIT as you grow. |

Nikkganc08: People should be allowed to make their choices.
To spend their money how they feel like and on what they feel like without restrictions.
After all, u can't tell me that our president eats local rice.
His shoes are foreign and expensive (in millions of naira)
When sick, he seeks for 'foreign' medical attention.
His kids are all studying in foreign lands.
Same applies to other politicians.
If the locally made products are good enough in terms of Quality, quantity and price...
You wouldn't need to enforce its usage and adoption.
People would go for it naturally instead of its foreign counterparts. When i got to kano, i was eating the local rice but sand/stone nearly spoilt my mouth, it was scary eating rice because you can't predict when the stone would come in. I calmly added extea 400naira to my budget and i started buying the foreign rice. How much would it cost the local producers to destone the rice? The sellers are also fraudulent because all of them would insist that the "local rice" is stone free but man, i kid you not! It's a quarry. A foreign rice claiming stone free would be stone free. A local rice claiming stone free, lmao |

o9o9: Used to want to patronise Nigerian clothing and shoes but never again.
90% of Nigerian tailors who sew clothes for men can't even get the ass crack settings on a trousers or even the armpit right. You either get extremely tight clothes you can't even bend in it. Bought multiple $83 to $100 shoe from local makers and till today they were the worst shoes i ever bought. I had pains in my back leg just for wearing them. They are either too clunky , heavy or they don't understand the concept of shoe confort and just think the pad in between soles are just there for decoration. But they know how to put outrageous prices on such bad shoes.
My average Giorgio brutini shoes cost me $60 but i can wear them for 5 years and they perfectly fit and don't cause me sole pains.
Why should i waste money on such purchases? And this isn't a me thing alone . Just talk a walk on the street, ask any male wearing locally made clothes to raise up their hands abruptly and see the upper wear tear from the armpit for most. One thing is paying for a Nigeria made product another thing is them getting it right, them delivering exactly what you ordered. Sad thing is that there's no regulatory body in Nigerua |

Nigerians are proving themselves to be unreliable, everybody want to make unrealistic gains from the smallest job.
Give a bricklayer 50naira for a job and he will be thinking how he can corner 35naira for himself and use 15naira for the job.
Buy a nigeria designer bag and the bag would be falling apart in less than 1 year.
Buy a made in Nigeria herbal medicine with nafdac approval and you would be scared to use it because 90% do not care about the health of the users, just their profit.
But a made in Nigeria organic cream and the cream would end up destroying your skin.
Go to a therapist in Nigeria and you will discover that youe therapist needs a Therapy.
Pay for LAND and the landlord would sell non exiting land to you.
Pay for paints for yoir property and the paint would start fading off in weeks.
BUYING MADE IN NIGERIA IS NOT THE PROBLEM BUT MOST ARE INTENTIONALLY PRODUCED TO BE SUBSTANDARD SO THEY COULD MAKE MORE GAIN.
Guess what? They're always expensive and more expensive compared to the foreign one sef Work hard and import your products from a foreign brand and you won't have to worry about changing that product in years!
Made in Nigeria cements no even stick wella again |

Speaking for myself, i doubt if we are employable.
I studied an animal health related course and i can boldly tell you that i know nothing about animals apart from the names of livestocks and maybe their gestation period.
How to treat them? No!
We had few practicals when i was in school but practical was just anothrr theory class done in the lab or on the field.
Though i am not practicing what i studied byt the truth is that, i feel i wasted my time going to school! I merely earned the certificate.

Focusmind: Honestly, I don't believe in using many windows as a form of energy savings in Nigeria with our dirty environment and poor air quality. For me, the windows in the house may be small in number but big in sizes, just for beauty and aesthetics.
For quantifiable energy savings, I use solar as my energy source now. I only switch to the mains on cloudy weather. But since December last year and now, with the intense sunlight and harmattan, my solar has been my source of power.
So, my prepaid meter has remained un-recharged for the past three months with good savings in energy cost. Ensure you have energy efficient deep freezer and ACs. The window AC may be out of fashion but a new 1hp window AC runs well with solar, lesser power demanding than split unit. My reason for having 1hp window AC for the rooms. Your solar covers AC, Freezer and other appliances? What's the cost |
