Good afternoon Folks, Tunde was at my place today and from all indication, there is little space and the fence in my compound is an obstruction. Consequently, there is little they can do. I want to thank you all for your assistance and to Tunde for his patience, explanation and also understanding my frustration. He is also a truthworthy guy. For now, I will have to do with hotbird till I get enough space. I probably will complement it with my IPTV. Regards |
philips70:I wonder. I think it is a myopic way to think. Appointments only benefits the appointee. The only way the public benefits is only when the appointee carries out his/her work diligently. Nigerians can we move away from tribalism please. |
I find the comment of the ohanaeze youth council hypocritical and filled with cynicism. The south-east did not vote for Buhari, yet they want to be part of his administration - on what basis - federal character or sheer selfishness for ones' pocket. May I state for the records that the President has the right to appoint anybody to be part of his administration. Also, he should comply with the constitution and appoint his ministers from all the states in the country. I would blame the President for the public chaos that his appointment has created. He should have published a comprehensive list of his ministers and advisers, instead of churning them out in bits |
chinnyness122:You can likewise report to the authorities if you feel concerned. This is not a sentimental issue, but one that borders on sanity |
I think LASG should write to the leadership of these churches like Redeem, Winners, Lords Chosen and set the basic criteria for compliance. Erring churches should be shut down till they are willing to comply. |
Talenty:My brother, I love to know things, but I do not have the time to jostle a 4.4m dish. |
jostunde:Tunde, I am shocked you would say this. I did not comment here to lash at you, but to get the opinion of other knowledgeable people. Nobody is a repository of knowledge, we all learn every day. I will not go into details, despite the fact that I got your contact through a nairalander, I believe they are not parties to the contract. However, we have all collectively agreed that my dish should track more than one satellite. I believe you have taken this into consideration in resolving my issues. Please note you did not do a perfect job for me. My HD packages keep freezing all the time. Where is the perfection in this? A perfect job entails ensuring the customer is satisfied and I have on previous occasions reminding you on this. You are not doing me a favour. I paid you handsomely on this project. You owe me a duty to keep me satisfied. |
Is this not the second time. Man learn not to be caught |
dolpaz:Before I PM you. Have you read through the issue and understand the main points? |
I will never forget my experiences (four times on different occasions, including 5 gun shots none hitting me or my passenger but shattering my car windows). One of the reasons I relocated from the mainland to the Island. The major hotspots - Oshodi - Apongbon - CMS - Mile 2 (where I was shot) - Ojo road - I hear it happens in Ojota |
marcondo13:You are immatured!!! |
EMMAACHILE:According to Tunde (my installer) he said it is motorised. Emma, unfortunately, I cannot relocate to another location. I do not intend to inconvenience anybody. It is actually a massive dish. Getting another hand, I would love to - Do you know someone else who is experience? |
EMMAACHILE:That is what he is implying Emma |
EMMAACHILE:Emma is Sky Uk working? |
twinskenny:We are discussing. I think I would need every experienced hand at the moment. |
twinskenny:Jesus, don't make me faint - 18 satellites - |
Cheny:Thanks Cheny. Tunde, please note |
olason:Annoying to read this when you remember you have a big dish and can only track one satellite which is very common and yet no stable |
jostunde:Tunde all these degrees highlighted, hope you will do something. I just need to track more birds. It is embarrassing getting only hotbird with that big dish and the hotbird is not stable. And Emma is still affirming his position on Sky UK. |
olason:Yes I need one. Jostunde is my installer. If I had space constraint why am I even getting hotbird at all. I should not get anything then. Why I am unhappy was because during the installation, they never tried to get another satellite only hotbird was tracked. I have reviewed your comment and noticed how you try to improve on the efficiency on your 3m dish on a regular basis. In my case, they never tried. Just tracked hotbird and told me no space for the rest. That is not professionalism |
Cheny:My installer is also online now. @Jostunde these are possible solutions. |
jostunde:Tunde, I can see you are here. That is good. Please read up their comments and share your experience. Guys, Tunde is actually the project coordinator |
Malix:Like who please. My offer for 20K to track down Sky UK still stands. My installer would be coming tomorrow. So we could all meet up and gather ideas and solve the problem |
One of the picture of my dish during installation. Abeg mek una no mind the picture. They are working on the road and gutter. I was also willingly to offer 20K if the installer can track down sky uk. The deal is still on though
|
EMMAACHILE:Ha. He told me it is on west. No I don't receive multi tv stations like joy prime. what is a blindscan and how can I do that. I have a dreambox 800 HD decorder incase you need that information too |
Cheny:Well. Maybe I should upload pictures of my dish and the space it occupies so people can offer assistance. I will do that hopefully tomorrow. |
olason:You seem well experienced in this dish stuff. Do you know Tunde? I have an issue. I have a 4.4m dish and I just get only hotbird. My installer, actually Tunde, said because of space. I don't understand and I am not happy. |
EMMAACHILE:My dish is motorised. I actually want sky uk and I decided to get a 4.4m dish. I went through a tough period and process, convincing my estate management, my landlord and doing letters. Only for the installer to tell me that buildings are blocking the signal for west and that if I need sky uk I need 5 meter dish!!! 5 meter dish, when the 4.4m is occupying a huge amount of space. Okay buildings are blocking west, how about east. With 4.4m I should kill all the birds on east. Why just hotbird Now, I am furious and he has decided to buy an lnb. Why didnt he think about that initially? How can 4.4m dish get only 1 satellite. I cannot reconcile it. It is embarrassing seeing the gigantic dish performing below par. I just don't get it. |
Guys I have completed the installation (i.e. 4.4m dish) but I am not happy. The installer initially told me I will be able to track many satellites prior to inspection, only for him to say that hotbird is only possible due to space. I want to know how true this is. At the moment, I only get hotbird with 4.4m dish. It is such an embarrassing situation with my gigantic dish. The same hotbird a 3m dish would track. Also, some of the HD channels except Canalsport 2 HD cracks and the HD channels on Sky italia do not open and its SD channels cracks frequently. It is an annoying venture after spending that amount of money to only track one bird and the sports don't speak english (Gosh) |
They are both fools. From their reaction, I think the rumour may have started from them so that they could gain attention. If your house is in order, why bothered. Keep your private business, private. |
Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed is presently in the eye of the storm. Some aggrieved members of his family have exposed how the controversial minister piled his various garages with his loots, which are hid in cars. The family members, namely Sadiq CK and Abdulrashid, Garba Y.M and Baba Manu discovered one of the many places the ex-minister hides his loot. It was gathered that Sadiq CK and his three other family members have laboured so much for Bala and his wife, Hajia Lami, during the six years of his uneventful tenure as the FCT minister. Unfortunately, they were said to have gained nothing from their closeness to the erstwhile influential minister. This is in spite of the constant influx of money, that was usually brought in a cash van to Bala’s houses, almost on a weekly basis. On the contrary, Bala’s wife, Hajia Lami and his sons- Shamshuddeen, Ahmad and Abdullahi a.k.a Dulas, who are reported to be in to possession of millions of naira in hard currency, live flambouyantly and cruise around town in expensive cars. Somehow, when Sadiq CK and his three cousins felt they deserved to have a share in the loot too, they broke into one of the cars, and stole N308 million. They were not so lucky. Bala Muhammed, who was away in Saudi Arabia, when the heist took place got them arrested and forced them to vomit every penny they stole. In this exclusive anonymous interview with one of victims, he reveals how they discovered over N3 billion in foreign currency in a Toyota Jeep in one of the many guest houses of the former minister and the inside story of what actually transpired. Ijebu Ode residents - what is wrong with using ATM machines and alternative electronic channels. Our cash mentality must change. |
