Politics › Re: NASS Planning Immunity Laws For Senate President, Speaker, CJN by Boss13: 8:07am On Oct 05, 2015
omowolewa:
Immunity from what?!
Are they afraid of voting criminals who need immunity.

They should do so for the Speaker of each state house of Assemblies and Judges too. They should flow it down to the Chairmen too. They should immune INEC chairman and commissioners too and probably the service chiefs.

Kari-ile immunity.
All Nigerians should apply for immunity. What nonsense
Politics › Re: Alleged Oil Sector Fraud: ‘ Why FG Is Not Charging Diezani, Others Now’ by Boss13: 7:52am On Oct 05, 2015
Some of these public officials who steal are very dumb. Why steal without a workable exit plan. Why relocate to a highly regulated country like the England or America. There are many money laundering islands in the world
Politics › Re: Alleged Oil Sector Fraud: ‘ Why FG Is Not Charging Diezani, Others Now’ by Boss13: 7:48am On Oct 05, 2015
"There were fears that they could be charged today or this week for their alleged involvement in money laundering and bribery."

What kind of writing style is this? There were fears - fears from which corner. Rather there is joy that those arrested would be charged to court. Nigerians are not afraid, we want her charged to court
Politics › Re: Kogi Guber: Audu Will Return The N11bn He Stole If Elected - APC Chairman by Boss13: 10:06pm On Oct 04, 2015
This comment from the APC chairman Kogi State is an insult to Kogi people. They should come out and protest. Audu needs to return the money first before the people cast their vote

What I can see is that private jets are justified for people who travel a lot and would need to be on time. Hence, it may be justified for these pastors to get one for themselves. However, the method of acquisition is probably the subject for discussion, members do not need to contribute to ensure that a private jet is purchase. There are various form of financing project - the banks are there, loan sharks, venture capitalists, Private Angels etc

In conclusion, I wonder what these men use the jet for but I do know vividly that they are not doing any God's work
Politics › Re: PHOTO: Ambode Welcomes Comedian Performing At Basketmouth's Show by Boss13: 7:50am On Oct 03, 2015
Ambode has reduced governance to selfies. I know he must have wasted considerable time discussing with those comedians and I wonder if he had joined the comedian club and is telling a huge joke on lagosians.
Politics › Re: I Fear Ambode Would Be A Colossal Failure:::::::::::::::::: by Boss13: 7:47am On Oct 03, 2015
If you cannot feel the impact of governance in the first 100days, you will not feel the impact at all even in 100 years.

Ambode is not fit to be Lagos governor, Lagos is going regressing backwards. On the other hand, I wonder what the Lagos chapter of the PDP is doing, they are as quiet as the governor
Politics › Re: Pmb's Independence Day Speech: An International Embarassment? by Boss13: 1:03pm On Oct 01, 2015

Interesting Critique.

But, what advice or deed have you contributed to Nigeria that can make her great? You guys just bunch together in one corner and look for faults.

Now proffer one sensible way forward.
You know it is laughable and funny to see how hard people try to make others hate the president. One is amazed as such level of pure stupidity. Buhari is President of Nigeria and not President of APC or the North. We need to pray for him to make the right decisions as such decisions would affect us directly or indirectly.

Buhari has said he is only going to run for a single tenure so why spend so much negative energy trying to convince people to hate him. Channel this wasted energies in contributing to make this country great

Akposkool:
And there is not a Nigerian flag on the message? This is a propaganda. Other teams are patronizing our players and now this racist club with a philosopher wanna show themselves. Who una help please gerout and let those buying our products congratulate us.
What is making the club a racist? That is doesn't field black players? I'm sure you must be watching with black and white tv and blindfolded googles. That the club doesn't have African players says a lot about the quality and talent Africa produces. I remember they struggled and fought bitterly with Chelsea over Mikel because he was raw talent and after Mikel signed the deal he made an after thought because of money to sign for Chelsea. Well we can see how far Mikel's career has gone.
Politics › Re: President Buhari’s 55th Independence Speech - Full Text by Boss13: 8:22am On Oct 01, 2015
A wonderful independence speech. Filled with sincerity and an overall review of his administration for the past 4 months. I like the conclusion, we must be law abiding to bring about this change. We cannot continue to vandalize oil pipeline and still want change, we cannot continue evading paying taxes and still want change, we cannot continue kidnapping our neighbours and still want change, we cannot continue to insult our neighbours because he is from a difference tribe and still want change. Let us be law abiding citizen, only then can we openly criticize the president and other public officers when they fail to deliver this much desired change.

Mr President, I am an independent observer of your administration and leadership. So far, you have done little wrong and increased the hope for a better Nigeria. You have increase international admiration and observers. I salute your courage and I love and admire you Sir.

Good bless Nigeria. Happy Independence Day my fellow countrymen

Oshiomole has stepped up. I can see him putting on good suit and matching ties, a dress fashion that was obscured to him in the past. Lara is doing a good job.
Family › Re: Man Batters Wife, Throws Her Out For Rejecting Custody Of Love Child (Pictured) by Boss13: 1:56pm On Sep 30, 2015
whirlwind7:
Traditional African customs have put most women in a disadvantage, especially those with randy husbands. If it were not so, this man wouldn't dream of bringing a love child to his matrimonial home.
To beat up his wife on top of it, is just too much to stomach. It is disheartening to learn that your spouse is cheating on you. But suddenly bringing home a child you fathered with another woman, and still expect your wife to "act obedient and responsibly" is the height of insensitivity.

And for the policeman who said its purely a family affair, that's nothing strange. No one expects animals in uniform to suddenly become human.
Battery and physical assault is clearly involved in this. It has become a criminal issue. Plus a helpless and innocent child who would bear the brunt of the entire episode.
Such a pity!
Well written

Politics › Re: Saraki, Loyalists Lobby Emirs To Beg Buhari by Boss13: 3:47pm On Sep 28, 2015
Saraki is a sinking ship and should be avoided. I believe only few Senators will scale the corruption hurdle. If they prove stubborn, they next thing is to clean their dusty corrupt file and prosecute them.
Politics › Re: Stop Playing Politics With Religion – Osinbajo by Boss13: 12:27am On Sep 28, 2015
Ok Vice President we believe you are right that religion and ethnic issues are at dangerous level in the country and these sensitive issues has been used as a weapon by selfish politicians.

However, it is also wrong for you to quote Jesus Christ as it may appear that you are imposing your Christian values on our non-Christians. In this case, mr Vice President you are also guilty of the same crime you are accusing others for engaging in.
Politics › Re: Saraki tells 3 Ex-Presidents, Influential Nigerians To Come To His Rescue-Nation by Boss13: 12:18am On Sep 28, 2015
The outcome of this case is also a litmus test for the Buhari administration and what is truly stands for. Any attempt to scruttle this case in favor of Saraki puts the APC in danger and compromises public trust.

The 13 count charges are very visible even to the blind man and I believe Nigerians would not want situations where the charges cannot be substantiated.

Nigerians do not want a man who sneaks into power at night because it sets a bad precedence and not an ideal lesson to teach children.
Politics › Re: Ban On Generator Operations From 11pm Till 6am In Residential Areas by Boss13: 1:48am On Sep 27, 2015
Bring it to the attention of the family. If they refuse, report to the landlord, if that can't solve the problem, report to the police and environmental authorities.

Your life and that of your family is very important. Ones comfort should not being suffering to another

sukkot:
this obasanjo is some type of enigma. i dont know what makes this man tick. he is a statesman. knows how to schmooze the international crowd
Obasanjo is very powerful and has powerful friends (locally and internationally). Obasanjo sits on the board of trustees of many international NGOs. One of the mistakes Jonathan made was accepting the advice of his aides to alienate Obasanjo. Immediately he took that advice, the international communities got cold with Nigeria.

Obasanjo is a frenemy, try to work against him you would be marking your time, you can ask his enemies. Bring him close and enjoy rich support and resources (locally and internationally)

Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Working For Boko Haram – Falae by Boss13: 8:09pm On Sep 25, 2015
HungerBAD:
There is something fishy about this whole kidnap thing.

I do agree he was kidnapped, but the intelligence and how this whole operation was carried out, to me seems more sophisticated than what a fulani cattle handler can pull.

The phoning.

The every 4 hours tactical maneuvers.

The way the ransom was paid.

How he was dropped off at Owo.

Everything shows an organized setting here, that goes beyond people, who ordinarily are nomads.
I think they are Boko Haram members who are in short supply of cash

Politics › Re: Tinubu Bars Pro-saraki Senator, Alasoadura, From APC Caucus Meetings-the Punch by Boss13: 4:50am On Sep 23, 2015
It is sad how these politicians forget easily. They ride on the back of their party and abandon them. It also show how our politicians are - impunity personified. If a man cannot subject himself to party guidelines, how would he subject himself to the constitution of the land.

These men are not politicians, they are social miscreants in politician attires
Politics › Re: I Am Being Prosecuted Because I Am Senate President, Says Saraki by Boss13: 4:44am On Sep 23, 2015
I agree with Saraki and honestly he brought this upon himself. He became the senate president through a fraudulent means and he made a deal with the opposition to create a bad precedence for our legislative system. In the future, people would want to refer to the unholy alliance created by Saraki.

In order to cure the disease, a review of his past actions was done and as usual the man Saraki cannot be clean. He has engage in previous criminal activities in the past and so it is easier to hold him on that whether it was done 100 years ago or a month from now.

I support the prosecution because it should draw to mind of future conspirators that in the end justice still prevails.

I quite agree with Saraki statement that he was being crucified because he is the Senate President. Frankly, had it been he is just a member, NONE would be interested in his case.

And i agree with you that He should submit to the rule of law as he is not immuned from it.
Yes I agree with him and you. He is a big fish and should be fried.
Politics › Re: Concrate Evidence That Saraki May Go To Jail by Boss13: 7:02pm On Sep 22, 2015
13 charges. Only one is sufficient to kick him out of the senate. Just one charge and if he is acquitted for all charges. I go marvel.

A wise man selects the battles he can win and go for it.

This Saraki battle is destroying Tinubu yet he is not giving up on it. Saraki started with less than 60 senators, now he already have 80 on his side....will still gain more after this battle.

He fought Fashola and the ripple effect is hitting on Ambode and entire Lagos APC.

At the end he will loose both at federal and state level.
I don't think this is Tinubu's fight. I believe it is a collective effort of all APC Chieftains except those in support of Saraki. I also think that there is a script and if this fails, the next one will kick in.
Politics › Re: Police Stops Live Coverage Of Saraki’s Trial by Boss13: 10:54am On Sep 22, 2015

This is not a fight against corruption. It is a fight against impunity and disregard of law
