EMMAACHILE:What if I am interested in Sky UK, so I can watch Sky movies HD and Sky Sports (premiership)? |
EMMAACHILE:I don't understand what you just wrote. Can you break it down like you are communicating to a teenager. |
Good evening Folks, I met a cable tv installer who told me that if I get a 4.5meter dish I would be able to watch Sky channels. I want to confirm if this is possible before I disburse money to him. I actually stay in Lekki Lagos. Your assistance will be appreciated. Thanks Can someone please assist me. |
Shake my head. Organisations are looking for people who will add value to them and not those who are cost centres. Graduates these days just want to sit down and earn salaries without working. What is wrong with marketing? OP if you feel you are better than your offer, start and manage a company of yours. |

Can't people read in between lines. Look at the date on the cheques. |
The world in 50 years will abandon Oil. We need to research on alternative energy so we can still provide energy to the world. |
Inexperienced hungry kidnappers. They will be caught. Folks what we can do for the parents is to talk less about the kidnapping but continue to insult the kidnappers so that we do not ignorantly tip them off. The kidnappers were hired via a social media website, they may be checking other websites for updates. |
I don't think it is good hiding this stories. We need to see it. We need to appreciate our mistakes, learn from our deeds and reconcile properly. |
I like his admission. It is time to rebuild. Flush out all the bad eggs and get young intelligent men and women into the party. Develop a powerful manifesto and stick by it. Stop the gimmicks of "chop I chop syndrome". However, please note that nigerians are slow to forgive. You might also not be fortunate, if APC begins to perform wonders. |
ogunniyi2:MAD FOOLISH OBA. ![]() |
belabela:Do you want them to start screaming right inside the Oba's home and they would not return back safely. It is a stupid idea to fight a man right inside his own home. So they have to laugh and clap and pretend everything is alright. However, you can see that they are not taking it slightly. |
Onyi42:Oh on a serious note, he can. Have you been to his palace? It is guarded by ignorant OPC members and some policemen. Have you ever encountered an OPC member before? |
belabela:They were clapping and laughing at his stupidity and amazed that such a man is foolish. It is a rare feat and requires laughter. Chief I have seen mad, bad, wicked, Oscar Pistorius style lawyers |
abbey621:I have never insulted the yoruba tribe. My attack has and will continue to be directed at the Oba. However, if anyone is dumb enough to support the clueless and ignorant Oba, I may not hesitate to include such person into my list of mad men and straighten such person with hot stinging words of reality. We must not uphold foolishness and stupidity. When I hear that a man is too big to apologize, then he should not be too big for the consequences |
belabela:I am very different from the wicked Oba because I did not invite guests to my home and tell them they will all die if they don't carry out my wish. I am different from the wicked Oba because I was not caught on video and audio tape, whilst releasing my viperous and genocide inciting statements. I am different from the Oba because I am not the Oba. |
abbey621:Point of correction Chief, the statement was not said to the yoruba ethnic group or to any political party. One would ask why the Oba decided to pick on the Igbos. Remember vividly, this is an ethnic group still recovering from the civil war. Why would you want them to take it slightly with the wicked Oba. Let us be honest, Nigerians, including the yorubas, have been unfair to the Igbos. They do not want to stay in Nigeria, yet they would not be allowed to leave. They go about their lawful business, yet they are been persecuted. It seems the only satisfying thing Nigerians want, including the yorubas, is to exterminate the Igbos, just like the Nazis did to the Jews. Wickedness in the heart of men. |
belabela:EXCUSE ME PLEASE, someone comes to threaten your lives, including that of your family, and place a condition for you else, your physical existence on this planet would diminish and you are busy talking about manners and respect. OH WHAT THE HELL. DID THE OBA RESPECT HIMSELF WHEN HE MADE THE STATEMENT. YOUR OBA IS MAD AND I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR HIM. |
driand:That is a fact but people are going to vote based on sentiments. Clearly, Ambode should win. However, an ignorant Oba decided to make things a little bit dramatic. |
Those trumping their chest, sounding the echoes of war and pledging solidarity to the ignorant Oba do not know the circumstances of their utterances. If they could look into the future, they will retract their statements and wish for peace. "Newton third law of motion - for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" |
belabela:I do not believe in Juju and trust me some crazy lawyers will try to prove any mysterious death that will arise as a result of this. I would rather advise the Oba to swallow his pride and retract his statement. I wonder what kind of advisers he has around him. |
donaremu:Nice comment |
Guyman02:I will repeat again. The Oba of Benin is the only Oba respected by the British. The rest were and still remain figure heads. |
belabela:Well in the court of law, a criminal case lies on the onus of the accused to prove his innocence and not the state prosecutor. So the Oba will be battling to show that he is innocent. Well there is video evidence showing him inciting violence by condemning an ethnic group and stating that they would die in the Lagoon if they don't vote for his preferred candidate. Chief, this case is big. The Oba does not need to do anything further, if 10 Igbos die after the election, he can be charge to court instantly. |
ooshinibos:Because he is ignorant and foolish. It cause him nothing but earn him more respect. However, as this matter drags on, his foolishness becomes clearer to the public |
EUROBOMBER:He should humble himself and apologize. That would earn him more respect. Enough importance has been attributed to an irrelevant man, who adds nothing to the scheme of things. My concerns are the OPC ignorant thugs who are still hoodwink to the Oba for bread else, I would laugh at his threat. |
arttysticfyngaz:The Oba of Benin is the only true monarch respected by the British and the only kingdom, the British did not compromise. Unfortunately, the Oba of Benin is the owner of Lagos. |
belabela:Inciting Violence and War. Alleged act to commit genocide and if there is actually a genocide, inciting ethnic cleansing and genocide. |
Good one. A petition should also be made to International Criminal Court of Justice. Unfortunately for the Oba, the Chairman of the National Human Right Commission in Nigeria is an Igbo man. This matter must be treated with all the seriousness it deserves because if the election result do not go the Oba's way, the Igbos will suffer for it. It is better to scream now than to soft peddle the issue. The Oba spoke ignorantly, however, his followers are as ignorant as himself and may carry out his bidding, in the view of pleasing their monarch. This matter must be resolve squarely to avoid future confrontations. People should learn to go and read the constitution, the supreme law of the land and understand the provisions contained in it. I guess the Oba would be wondering how come his statement is creating so much tension in the country. If he likes he should not apologize or retract his statement, however, he must know that the blood of every Igbo resident in Lagos is on his head and the family of any Igbo man that dies after the election has the right to take the Oba to court. |
Well folks, I am done for the day. Have an 8 o' clock meeting tomorrow. Fortunately, I am the Chairman. On a final note,I am glad to inform some folks, with documentary evidence, on how lagos is a "no-man's land". If my comments struck a nerve, do not be angry. Rather I would advise you conduct research and know your history more. Furthermore, no man owns any land. We all migrated and will continue to do so, till we hit our milk and honey spot. Hence, we must respect and tolerate the wishes of every man and their individual interest. The Nigerian Constitution has confer on every Nigerian, the right to live anywhere and express themselves legally. Whilst, I am disappointed by the Oba's statement, an apology from the monarch will calm nerves and earn him more respect. In that respect, I also wish to apologize to some folks here who may consider my comments derogatory to them. Finally, we (my consulting group) are trying to make good movies to teach our history. I have discovered within the short period of research that we have lots of stories to tell the world and like the great Achebe said "If you do not tell your stories, other people will tell it the way they like". We are sourcing for finance and the right partners. Maybe, just maybe, we would be able to address a lot of issues with story telling. Have a great night sleep. Cheers! |
ChinemeOkpan:Laughs, that is my second degree. Sorry to make you mad. |
