hisroyalrealnes:I disliked Ngozi under Jonathan. I disliked her policies because there was no transparency and monies were turning into ghost and reappearing into people's personal accounts and I was wondering how come a world bank superstar is all in the mess. At the moment, I think she did a good job to hold the financials of the country tight even in the midst of all the looting and corruption. The economy did not regress even though she was sitting on a time bomb. |
Consistently, I keep telling people that Obasanjo has been Nigeria's best president. Despite the fact that I understand their sentiments, as each day goes by and we see Nigeria heading towards the brink of collapse and the best choices we made as President, we can all come to agree that Obasanjo's policies made Nigerians better - we were not close to the promise land, in fact we were very far from it, but we were moving in a positive direction. Now, we have reverse backwards and all the gains we achieved under obasanjo has been destroyed. |

I wonder why would a real estate company employe the services of a maiguard rather than a security company that can keep tabs on issues. The security professional would have alerted the real estate company of the conman's encounter with the prostitute he brought to the shortlet accommodation. This would have prepared the real estate company of eventualities and reduce their cost. Also, it's quite funny what the conman intend to achieve? He extended his con for so long. Shame on him |
edosg:Nice way to explain it. Now explain the altar designed as a war ship! |
rukis360:It doesn't matter. The Navy is a rare uniform that is worne by civilians. He should be arrested for impersonation. Sometimes I wonder what the educational qualification and exposure these men have. They are all power drunk. |
Mr Governor Sir, drug cartels and mafias are insensitive when they want to carry out their vengeance. Your public statement must not just be statement alone, it must be matched with action - else, Ozubulu and Anambra state have just seen a tip of the ice berg. You must pursue and arrest all parties involved so as to send a note of warning that their grievances should never be brought home. South African government must arrest the chief perpetrators and repatriate them back to Nigeria for prosecution. Innocent lives who had no business dealings or concerns have lost their lives. Mr Governor, Sir, I say this sternly because if no action is carried out, the war will only continue and may even consume the entire south east. |
This is ridiculous. They didn't bargain for any price. Why would she insist she wants N20,000 when you didn't inform the man what your price list is. That's extortion and I hope the man was not bullied to pay her. He said he didn't know she was a prostitute and picked her at the University Gate. I don't care how she lives her life but she should have informed the man that she is a call girl and a price is negotiated. She cannot presume the man has N20,000 to give her. If they agreed on a price and the man refused to pay, then that is a different matter. I think the man is really nice explaining himself. He should have driven her to the police himself. Also, if she is a student of the University, she should be expelled for inappropriate behaviour and reckless lifestyle that has brought disrepute to the university. She appears not be to ashamed of herself. Such a ridiculous lady. |
5DMindset:Drug dealers are meticulous ![]() Excuse me, then you know nothing about drug related wars. Please don't let what they show you on American movies deceive you. Have you ever heard of guy called Pablo Escobar? He wanted to kill a then Columbian Presidential Candidate who was campaigning against Drug Cartels - guess what he did, he blew an Airplane with up to 240 passengers in it including the unsuspected passenger carrying the bomb, just to kill one guy. Pablo Escobar killed about 12 judges and burned down the Supreme Court in Columbia just to destroy evidences. Ever heard of El Chapo - he is currently serving time in a New York prison. El Chapo is responsible for over a thousand deaths in drug related murders in the United States and Mexico even individuals that had nothing to do with drugs and he was not staying in the United States. There is a blur line between drug dealers and terrorists. The Taliban in Afghanistan sell Opiums, a precursor to making Heroine, to pursue their terrorist objectives. Why do you think the United States took the war on drugs seriously- because of the increased murder rates and that's an act of terrorism. |
In view of generating publicity, those engage in this act should respect others logical comprehension. At 9 years, an average child is yet to understand a great deal of things. |

I am really unhappy with Senator Ben Bruce. My reason is because I don't understand the man. He is a senator and that provides him a platform to effect the change he really wants in Nigeria. If he wants to boost employment, he can sponsor a bill aimed at boosting employment. However, all we hear from him is TALKS and no action. Is he in the senate to tell stories or to enact laws that will make Nigeria and Nigerians better? |
Pejah:You are not alone in this journey. Don't allow anybody fool you on this. With all the misery in this world and less consequences for the perpetrators, you begin to wonder if God truly exist. However, the beauties of this world are so abound that there must be a creator to have brought all these beautiful things to existence. Also, I believe God cannot be taught through books or stories, the only way for you to confirm your belief is to experience God. Unfortunately, the popular religions in the world today cannot guarantee such divine experience. Can you have such experience, I think so. It requires discipline, mediation and an earnest yearning for the truth. |
Josephjnr:A nice logical argument. I observe people are quite afraid to think beyond - no problem with that. You cannot force anyone. A lot of people will argue with you strongly when you tell them that there are errors in the Bible. Presently, some of the outstanding unexplainable events in the Bible are now common occurrence and can be explained by science e.g Rainbow, Floods, eclipse etc One popular story that astonished me as a child and makes me laugh today is the Tower of Babel, which was a story to explain multiple languages - where a group of people decided to build a tall building so they can reach God and God saw the heart of men and decided to disrupt their plan by changing their tongues. Now if you logically dissect that story you would agree with me that it never occurred. |
chimeee:Aramaic not Hebrew - Yeshua was his Aramaic name Whilst everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, I just wonder if we have actually contemplated logically on this - if the white men never invaded African communities and imposed their religious values, would we not continue with the religious/traditional beliefs of our ancestors? I have no issues with any religious belief, but I strongly believe that colonialism wiped out African traditions and whitewash our minds. We are still struggling with this till today because we are yet to know who we are and also living our lives through the prism of the white man and his judgement. Just my opinion. |

frenzyduchess:Wrong. Again from a single girl who is not married, advising the OP to walk away from her marriage. Do you think divorce people are happy? Please don't go into marriage with this opinion. You are yet to be matured for marriage. For better for worse means for better for worse. |
Guys we need to understand these women. They are very delicate and don't think like us. A women starts thinking of her wedding/marriage/husband from the age of 6 and at that age for a man, he is still considering which chew gum is sweeter or the Indomie he would take to school to show off. Now, to tell a woman all men cheat means there is no Prince Charming for them. It kills their hope and dream of a perfect handsome man who would make life purpose clearer - they don't want to hear it, they don't want to believe it. When a man cheats on a woman, it breaks them down. It makes them feel like their worthless or no longer attractive. She may even blame her children or her body shape. Listening to them gives you a perception of how hurt they become when they find out that their partner has cheated on them. Women want to feel and remain special - it is their nature. Women, most men cheat. They cheat not because they don't love you or you are no longer attractive or they are tired of you. Some cheat because they want to, others maybe they were lured to, or just want to be in the company of other women, some men have crazy sex drive. Some men have alter ego (act differently when they are with strangers) and express themselves better with other women, some men do because they can afford to do so (they are rich and powerful), some because of work and family stress and they are tired of hearing or being in it. Do women cheat - yes they do, but they would prefer stability and love and also like to share good time with someone they care about and love. This is different for men. Once you know this, it should guide you and prepare you for certain outcome. I will not advise a woman who loves her husband to challenge him on infidelity issues - she would ruin her home and her happiness. I would also like men to understand that women are not happy when they are being cheated on - well, nobody would be happy. However, no marriage is perfect and it does take a lot of hard work to keep a marriage going on. Some serious hard work and if you want to stay married, be prepared to put in the work. |
I read only the first page and got a bit irritated because it was turning to a women v men issue. This is your marriage and I will strongly advise that you should NEVER implement what some of the women here are telling you to do. Many of them are single, never married or high pretenders. Women are yet to understand men and men are also yet to understand women. Your husband was ashamed you caught him red handed and rather than feel ashamed like a boy who was caught by his mom with the meat in his mouth, he is allowing his ego get inside his head. Be careful with your husband. You need to understand his personality. You are in pains, but what would define your marriage is how you handle the pain you feel. If you handle it wrongly, you will lose your marriage and increase your pain further. Your husband has shown that he doesn't want to discuss that issue, do not confront him about it again. You may not like the outcome. At this moment, don't report this matter to anybody, not a family member, you would embarrass him further and leak family secrets out. Be calm and cool and don't change your attitude or the other woman wins. This is your marriage and he is your husband and family. Marriages have issues and are not perfect, but with perseverance, it finally succeeds. I wish you well |
Watched the show yesterday and heard the song. Was happy for him. He is making good music |
Don't like this model. The Model S is a beauty. Why the IPad screen shooting out. Kids can damage that easily. Exterior is cool but interior is bland compared to other models. |
In the true sense of things we cannot compare the western world with our own form of civilization. At one stage of their era they passed through this religious phase. People were even killed for believing something else. I think we are in the religious boom phase and surely it will decline and logic will set in. |
Is this man still on with his delusion. I sincerely hope the owner of this moniker is not an adult. I recall perfectly how he was put to shame when his prediction of Jesus's return did not come to past. I initially thought he was on an attention seeking objective, but this seems more than that. SMH |
Of course not everything is human. There are plants and animals and other life forces to sustain these things. |
I am not trying to ridicule this supposedly pastor because that was his objective - to ridicule his members with his theatrical acts. If you want to pull a trick, try to be intelligent with it. The woman was just an actress and not a good one. You don't gain consciousness instantly if you have been unconscious or near death experience. I say this confidently because I have witnessed someone who was unconscious and also read deeply about it. An unconscious person is unaware of his/her environment and its happenings. When they gain consciousness; they are in shock of happenings around and within them. So the lady just broke a fundamental law of unconscious people by being very alert and even recognizing that she is in a church and with a pastor. She is also well dressed for a dead person and her body looks very healthy and not feeble like that of a dead person. Another thing I need to highlight is I think we don't really appreciate death experience - nothing wrong with that and also a lot of unintelligent people are finding their ways into Christianity with the aim of duping gullible people. I really do feel for Christians because as each day goes by, the religion loses its true purpose. Finally, first seek to know yourself and that way you will know God. |
Benita27:Is it a sin not to go to church? Any compulsion attached to such activity? Do we really seek righteousness or attention? I think it's more of the later. A blind cannot lead the blind |

I think he is wasting his talent, skills and time being a social media handler. According to whoever that spooled his details, he is a Masters degree holder, a computer scientist and an aspiring rapper. |
Sometimes I wonder what gets into people's head that makes them rush to public forums to disclose private details. There is email, telephone, surface mail, SMS and personalized private chat system. All these can be exploited. When the table turns, they are the ones to scream privacy. They should remember that when they make their business public, it stays public and open to public scrunity. |
