It is possible those people were planted by aides. If Buhari wants to truly understand how the public perceive him, he should go to Lagos. |
I think the concerned person should go and work on her sexual urges else more friends would steal her boyfriends or would-be husbands. |
seunmsg:It would do you good to read her write up for your own understanding. You are actually asking the wrong person |
The victim should go to the police rather than social media |
We are not privy to the entirety of this issue, but from recent indication, I think EFCC, as a federal prosecuting and investigating unit, was biased with their excessive use of force to arrest Innoson even to the point of slapping a related party to the suspect. According to EFCC, Innoson was invited but never honored the invitation. Innoson claimed he never got a invitation. The sudden rush to charge the matter to court is to buttress their arrest which has drawn public outcry even from senators. They did not anticipate the consequences of their action. Now I wonder what documentary evidences they possess to conclude that they have sufficient evidence to charge the matter to court - this is why fraud cases never see the light of day because EFCC is always doing a dirty job or seem not to understand their job. Innoson on the other hand is partially right with the letter of credit - it doesn’t transfer ownership of consignment to the Bank. It only ensures that the exporter is being paid upon transferring shipping document. However, if Innoson has taken a loan to purchase the goods, a lien can be placed on the consignment. So Innoson should go and study the legal terms of his letter of credit. All parties in this transaction are faced with reputational risk and so they are trying to clean their business in the public by engaging the media. |
The first advice I would give to you is not to accept the Botany admission. What many Nigerian universities fail to do is to inform students about the employment opportunities for the courses they are studying in school. There is no career guide department in many Universities. Well I don’t know about now. Employment opportunities in Botany is very limited, even the employment opportunities in medicine is not so good but better than Botany. Don’t get carried by peer pressure. Study hard and ace your Jamb to study medicine. |
I was hoping to see the major culprits and thank god Daar Communications is there. That company took money from investors and has never paid a single dividend. The stock price is not growing either. I wonder when NSE will delist these companies from the stock exchange |
neoapocalypse:The person who made the comment has never worked before. Don’t blame him/her |
Xtfield:I support this. This should be his first step because I don’t understand why a recruiting professional (the offeror) would offer an employment on agreed terms and then renegade on the terms after clear indication that the offeree has dropped his resignation and is in a dilemma. I think the company may be reputable for engaging in such practice. You have to let the cat out the bag! |
MZTEMAR:No she did not forget. She deliberately ignored it and portrayed a story to describe the husband as the wicked one. These are the whips of women; to obscure facts and present fictions in order to attract sentiments. Don’t wallow in pity for this woman, she is the architect of her own situation. When you hear from the husband on this same matter, you may regret the comments you have previously made. |
Aquariann:I wonder oh. I started mind checking which NNPC station is in Lekki. |
Sanchez01:Beautifully said! The video is trashy and insulting to women. Most videos are and I wonder if women are comfortable with the way they are being portrayed in musical videos, objectifying themselves to the pleasure of men and wild fantasies of music video producers. The lyrical content of the music was trying to relate to the beauty of the black skin, but portraying it as trash in its video. I think Clarence needs to re-examine his creativity and concept. |
Nigeria is a country that consistently refused to learn from its past mistakes and problems. Nigeria problems are not new, they are recurrent problems. Many of these problems have left the recurrent process to become permanent problems. |
frankyychiji:I like the adjectives you used in qualifying Jonathan. To summarize your comment above, he was a weakling and a weakling doesn’t deserve to be a leader or president. Leaders make tough decisions, decisions considered to be in the best interest of the country. Jonathan was no presidential material. OBJ described him to be the 5th in command in Aso rock after 4 women. At this moment, we can wail about the hardship in the country and the indecisiveness and deceit of the Buhari administration, but if a goat ran against Jonathan in 2015, the goat would have won. The defeat of Jonathan in 2015 was the best thing that happened in Nigerian politics and come 2019, Nigerians should vote strongly against Buhari for his incompetence and economic hardship he exposed Nigerians to. |
It’s shocking to read comments here still insisting that the chibok girls kidnapping was a scam. This is the height of insensitivity and a gross abnormality of human conscience. Enough of politics, convincing yourself that the horrors the young ladies were exposed to does not exist is to also deny the existence of Boko Haram and the terror they have meted in Northeast Nigeria. |
frankyychiji:Are you just aware that our government tells lies? Glad we can all see the impact of investigative journalism. It has to take foreigners, as always, to tell us what is happening in our own country. |
Osucoward:Okay I think I’m trying to ascertain your twisted mind. To you, this would be more lauded if the producer was from the South-West. For your information, Lagos is producing Lake Rice, which was a cheaper alternative last year and was very commendable. To me, I don’t care and I am very happy that Nigerians are producing rice and less dependent on imported Thailand brands and with time, we would do away with them. Finally, I am not Chibuike - enough with the stereotype and disgusting tribal comments. Learn more to be enlightened than categorized any opposing opinion as someone from the South-East. It is time to grow up and stay grown! |
Osucoward:Below is a comment I made in a recent thread today and I decided to paste it here for you to read in view of your - You People phrase you made above. You don’t know my Tribe, my age nor my Gender, but very quick to stereotype me in your mind of hate. If your mind operates this way, then what is the essence of you being human or even existing. Initially I wanted to discredit this tribal issue and discount those clamoring for it. However, it seems it’s promoters are itching and waiting for any opportunity to sensationalize the polity with false narratives. We are stroking a time bomb and urging on a wild fire. Despite the fact that the political elite has consistently shown that at the top the only tribe they acknowledge is the “Green Tribe” or the “Money Tribe”, we have hinged our failure as a direct consequence of tribal inequality and continually creating animosity amongst ourselves. The leaders and sponsors of these hate groups hide in masks behind their trolls and are quick to escape when their actions, directly or indirectly, begins to bear forth negative consequences. For those of us with anaemsia, the civil war was a replica of the consequences of hate. Lest not say we were not warned as our emotions blind our logical thoughts. We shall surely reap what we sow. The hate speeches and ill thoughts will surely turn to actions and with actions comes consequences. |
Osucoward:First, I like your gif with the ESPN presenter. Second, I am not a nigga, it would be more resourceful for you if you research the word and know when to use it appropriately and in its proper context. Finally, the rice is very common in large scale supermarkets and if you stay in Lekki Phase 1, you can go to Ebeano Supermarket and get yourself a small bag for N1,200. There are other variants - Red or Brown and even a more polish Abakaliki rice. I enjoyed eating it and was impressed with the taste and just as much with the packaging. To conclude, I’m really glad that we as Nigerians learnt and grew from the overdependence of imported rice. As at this time last year, there was a huge scarcity and not many families could afford the typical 50kg bag. So rather than live in your illusionary mind of mediocrity, go out and get yourself one. It is cheap too. |

Nwades:Ate one yesternight and would be doing so during the festive period and in all honesty I could not distinguish it from the imported rice from Thailand, if it is not even more better |
Dongreat:You said something that really strikes home. It’s funny how Nigerians have quickly forgotten that we are Africans and fight over foreign religions and the white man’s history. Africans wake up and stop losing your identity |
I thought the Maserati would be the toy version and hence an appropriate gift for a child. What I’m yet to understand is the rationale to buy an expensive car for a child who would not drive it or be qualified to drive it in 10 years time and when she does in the future, it would be 10 years past and fully depreciated. The other issue of pastor’s living lavishly have been extensively discussed. It is up to their members to either come to terms with this or continue to be dispensable tools. Happy Holidays! |
Beautiful kids. Those Indian doctors did a great job |
Why is Deji trying to politicize a commercial transaction? Is APC a GTBank financial outlet? One thing I know about Gtbank is that it is an apolitical institution and little wonder they continue to win Bank of the year and it is the only Nigerian Bank listed on the London Stock Exchange. For your company to be listed on the London stock exchange, you and the company will undergo serious scrutiny. If GTbank have over deducted interest payment from Innoson, they have to refund the money or state reasons why the deductions were made. On the other hand, Innoson must try to service its loan. This case will only get him into more financial issues. He needs the Banks to expand his business at the stage of his company and him having issues with Gtbank will put off other banks from lending to him in the future. |
DrinkLimca:You are a ridiculous human being and very disrespectful. |
jonnytad:I initially thought of keeping quiet and not express my opinion over this matter. However, the lewd comments I read here are outrageous. I am not a church or christain fanatic, but I find it ridiculous for Christians to call someone else a sinner and themselves, the righteous. I think what Daddy Freeze is trying to say all these while with his teachings is that Nigerian Christians do not really understand their religion. They are hoodwinked by the practices and speeches of their pastors and do not bother to find Christ themselves as depicted in the Bible. Other religion, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism etc consider their altar to be scared ground that many are not privileged to stand before it other than their elected representatives because the altar is where specific rituals are being conducted. I think the Catholic still oblige this rule. Temples are places people come to commune with their creator and not to engage in immoral behaviors or to entertain themselves. There are specific venues for such activities. Whilst I may disagree with Daddy Freeze on some specifics, I think he is trying to highlight these situations to pastors love for money, power and material things. If pastors really do understand the essence and history of their religion, there are things they would not allow in their church and one of them is encouraging comedians and secular musicians to perform in their churches. A church is a temple and not an entertainment center. |
He is still on trial, actually awaiting trial. |
That picture is not real. Look at what the man is seating on |
Which African countries and Presidents did he pray for? |
How can someone earn N50,000 per month and own his house plus choice cars. Please who is this journalist? I don’t believe the story. Sounds like a tale seeking sympathy. Kiss Daniel should respect his contract. He read through the terms, agreed and signed. Investment has been made, he should man up, negotiate properly and respect the contract terms. |
There is poor communication in this marriage. If you don’t know what your husband does for a living, then certainly your marriage is in obscurity. You didn’t tell us what country your husband is residing. There are laws for residents to relocate their spouse to the country in which they are based. There is also room for visiting visa if permanent resident is taking time. You should be asking your husband whether he is a legal resident in the country he is based. If he is not, what is he doing to rectify the situation. Apparently, it appears that you are not in constant touch with your spouse, which is abnormal for any relationship. You cannot presume that your husband is cheating on you because you don’t have reliable information. However, based on your story, it appears you have been neglected and if you are unhappy with the situation, call your husband and inform him. We are humans and I understand you. However, before you engage physically with what you have been desiring to do, you need to separate ties with your absentee husband. This is to avoid the repercussions that may happen if you, as a married woman, engage in extra marital affairs. |
