Sorry I just feel like I have to respond, Why on earth do you have to compare Adeboye and Martin Luther King? One fought for liberation and at the same time preached the gospel while the other preached the gospel and wined and dined with the powerful rulers regardless of their characters and whatever controversy that might bring.

I never read about Dr King supporting the racist government all because he had the access and fame that came with it neither did I ever read about Pastor Adeboye criticising the government though he cannot deny he's not aware of their misdeeds.

Pastor Adeboye caused me so much pain as a result of his monthly convention because I used to attend Mayflower School in Ogun State and a journey of 45minutes normally takes 4hours sometimes in the hot baking sun and at the same time breathing the polluted air from these cars rammed into the traffic caused by the church attenders.

I'm not sure if Nigerians are not prepared to welcome a true reformer but understanding the fact that Nigerians have been dissappointed times without number, then you'll understand where they are coming from if someone with good intentions come their way.

I think someone from a different community (or probably even another country) and who has been tested would rather be trusted as compared to a full blooded Nigerian.

Most universities would accept you with a 2:2 in the UK and I mean even the very prestigious ones (because I worked in the education sector with a couple of top universities).

I could help you find out more but it all depends on the degree course you want to study. To be honest as you'll be paying three times the home students, they have no issue admitting you to their courses.

To be honest, there's no point stressing over Dapolam, we all know he's a thread from the same fabric and do we still need further proofs? People in Nigeria are so well connected to each other that it's so hard for people not to know someone in the public eye and that's what Dapolam is facing right now hence the difficulty in proving his innocence during his dad's tenure.

None of them. They are all glorified polytechnics. Why don't Nigerians conduct a thorough research before leaving to the UK for further studies? You'll be better off in Nigeria except you go to a reputable university here. Trust me, both of these universities are just glorified polytechnics. Spend your hard earned cash in a university with class don't just waste your money.

The fact remains Nigerians have a very short memory and are very quick to forgive. At least some people have been involved with him one way or another while some people have never heard anything positive about him at all. The fact remains we chase shadows in Nigeria while the problem remains ourselves.

If the election would be as transparent, this guy (Dapolam) should not be elected because he just has no case at all apart from the fact that his dad has been there done that and got the bloody T-shirt.

What would he do for the masses that live below $1 daily? Talk is cheap, yeah he's on Nairaland saying he'll do this and that but fukk all that because we'ver heard it all before.

The whold fact remains he's not cridible enough to effect a change for Nigerians and I doubt Nigerians would get behind him. He doesn't deserve the praise of Nigerians. He's no Obama, our Obama is somewhere and I believe when we see him, we'll all rally round him and give him all the support he needs but until then, we'll keep dreaming.

I must say I regularly (and anonymously) read your blog (though I never left any comment) and I seem to agree with you most times. I would advise you to stop wasting your time responding to this dumb posters on this thread supporting the greedy so called "men of God" who in the actual sense are men of frauds.

I could remember in thiose days leaving my secondary school (Mayflower School) to Lagos and the journey that normally takes 45minutes sometimes takes 4hours because of the crowd this guy is commanding (just brainwashing them the wrong way).

Plus, the last time I checked, a church is meant to operate as a registered charity but these guys operate a bloody registered organisation with the sole aim of making profit.

Gawd, this pastor just sonstitutes a nuisance to the Nigerian society and he's just another headline grabbing selfish insensible man. The earlier Nigerians realise that they're being brain-washed, the better. People are even scared of facing the truth.

That place should be bloody closed down and converted to a manufacturing site. Jesus Christ!!! The express way was made for a purpose but he's accrued a massive land in the name of makinf more money for his church and yeah, is children would enjoy a massive inheritance.
