skingo: Once again Skingo! I can now see the bitch in you like common saw it in Ice Cube. First, no one is not talking about HUGE SHOWS and don't even expose your bitchness more. I will not continue with you cos you are known for your "incessant bitchness", if there's any meaning to that, Three reasons i don't want to reply you No one is talking about HUGE SHOWS, Go and Check the meaning of "Local" and from that you would know Etisalat, Glo, MTN, Lux endoresements are local endorsement. Nas, JayZ and others are local artists in The U.S You don't know anything about Singapore and bilieve most Guys of your age in Singapore are living far better than you. Go and get your fact right about SINGAPORE, and yes Mode9 went to Singapore, You refused to be fooled by me because mode9 didn't go to singapore but unfortunately YOU ARE A FOOL COS HE ACTUALLY WENT TO SINGAPORE well, Skingo would always be Skingo, FOOL |

tosinadeda:Well, its your own personal problem if you've not seen Mode9 in any show! the basic reason is because you will never go to "intellectually inclined shows". Forget about GLO advert, that's a local endorsment or connection. Where were you when Mode9 did his thing in Singapore, where will you be when his doin his thing in USA before the end of this year. Am still talking International connections, where were you when mode9 is sponsoring his own flight tickets to S.A. to and fro, Do you think all these things na beans? Small time, you'ld be saying he doesn't do shows, check out his myspace page and see lined out events then you would consider to re-run your mouth. No money No money No money, like say na for them papa house mode9 dey chop |

Well! It's not really the singing part that really matters but the message! and 2 me it's noot really fallin from Kanye's standard, so it's cool (for his die hard fans) the Vocoder thing ain't bad! That's what they use to capture people now! and Kanye puts business ahead of his game now, so you can't expect anything straight from the guy'z heart, |

Ur question is ambiguous. the thread topic says Ruggedman or Mode9? Ur Choice. my choice is Modenine, no long thing, but, in your words, u said who's better? better in what terms? moneywise = Ruggedman Lyrically = Modenine in my own opinion. no argument, |
Music/Radio / Re: Who's Got Lyrics: Ruggedman Or Modenine? by bouzymill(m): 10:56am On Oct 14, 2008 |
@Kaydee Its been long bruva! U should have known they would not listen. I stopped talking because i realized half of them don't even listen to these tracks! all they listen to his the "Naija regular phrases" in the songs and start yelling it has "nigerian feel". They all act like real hiphop headz but the best they've heard in hip hop is Ruggedman. To drop the fact , Modenine is not in my best 20 emcees ever, but what belongs to caesar should be given to him, he's way above rugged lyrically, i hate it when people deliberately run from the truth. Let us subtract punchlines, wordplays, mtaphors etc, and pick normal rhymes! Mode is better than my "Naija Crunk" Brother. They say Mode uses Big words! who are these people talking like this. If u don't understand what he's saying, you write them down for someone more intelligent to deciper them for you. Sometimes ago, sumone here(i won't mention his name, let him admit it himself), said Modenine's musc is for gang bangers, thugs and all sort of rubbish cos that's what he talks about. Shey Na Yans Be Dat? The best way to know those who understand hip hop real well is to change the topic to Blackhought Vs. Nas! who's better? some people go run commot. Bottomline! If you think Ruggedman is better than modenine, drop any ruggedman's line that is worth looking at!!! if you can't do this, Pls don't ever argue here again!!!! |
Rap Battles / Re: Banging by Ruggedman Ft Durella (Modenine Diss) by bouzymill(m): 5:05pm On Oct 13, 2008 |
Forget about "Talking to You" or "Bangin" , av not heard the two but i've been following modenine's music from day 1 to day now, likewise rugged's, what i see is that It's not only in "Talking to You" that modenine has actually pointed lyrics at ruggedman or saucekid or any other rapper, He punches anytime he feels like cos he's a punchline man. Go and listen to "You", "Going through", "you can't hide" and the rest of the tracks in the "NIGELBEN'S KRAFTWORK" mixtape all produced by KRAFT. Modenine spread their shits on the mixtape & everyone of them is takin his share. In a track, he dropped this: ", (can't remember), kill your career and watch it die dont go against me, i don't forgive when it's on it eat [eat] beef and throw it up where you live" - Going Through this is what i call Final Warning. Bottomline! Ruggedman is not in anyway, anyform, closer to modenine's lyrical ability. And stop talking about money, modenine goes to shows too and get paid, i hate it when people say the guy doesn't have money, has he ever begged for help from you before. He doesn't even beg you buy his mixtapes like some people do (i no mention anybody). Mode9's fans will buy his CDs @darequam i appreciate your analysis on good music. I only have to add this: Rap is a literary form which its anlysis is always on "Content and Form" your content is what you intend to say and your form is how you intend saying it. Form is where punchlines, wordplays, metaphors, come in and that's why they are worth looking at in music. |

First question! Is this the same BADMAN SAMINI of Ghana? IF you are! That hiphopworld awards performance was very nice. Congrats on the award u also got dat nite! As per the Jailer stuff! As far as the guy who used that same concept does not jeopardize the good concept behind the real "Jailer" by Asha, its "all in the music" And anywayz, if this is not SAMINI, am sure you are BADMAN!!!! |

Well, i got a handbill some days ago about a audio technology school in Lagos. I'v actually misplaced the handbill but i still can locate the area. Check the Ojota branch of Sweet Sensation, just around that area, you would find the school or try your luck if you can still get the handbill inside that same sweet sensation. This is how best i can help, I don't know if its valuable enough to help you get what you want, holla back when you get sumthin about the school, |

Modenine himself said his next album was goin to be commercial at the end of Spazmodic, PENTIUM IX Mixtape, so what da f are you saying, "Nigerian Girls" is commercial and still on point like Big Pun's "Get off my D*ck", etc. "Fake Up in Da Club" is commercial as you say but its reflecting your society, or maybe the track is a "machete on your neck". Religion / Re: 10 Reasons Why God Doesn't Exist Today, Tomorrow And 4ever by bouzymill(m): 4:49am On Oct 17, 2007 |
Eh!!!!! This is so surprising. People really think like this! I always believe that all those things i read in books about knight templers, free masons, and them occultic scriptures are just literary fallacies. Or is it as a result of these same books that derailed your train of thoughts. May God lead you through the right path and bring you back from the way of those who have gone astray. This is where we will all realize that if we believe in God, it is so because of God's guidance and not our power. |
Music/Radio / Re: What Is Happening To Rap Music? by bouzymill(m): 1:01am On Oct 17, 2007 |
What is happening to Rap music it seems to be bowing to R&B. Most top songs are R&B while most rap music hope for the top 20s. the only thing now that makes rap interesting is the 5ocent and kanye west struggle for the top.
I believe rap has lost the objectives of the culture that brought it. Ever before, Rap is not a genre of music that makes it to the top list so often. It was only few of the mainstream rappers that made it to the top top shit: People like Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Big Pun etc. These guys who own these Music TV stations: MTVBase, Channel O, Trace, BET,MCM etc, deal with people. They make available polls for peole to vote on the tracks they like to watch, and you know a lot of people, maybe like 60% prefer track where what they want is displayed, at least to some extent what rap can not give them, like the steps from Omarion, The Vocoded or Autotuned voices of Akon and-Pain, Dances and nice collabos from Chris Brown. etc. So rap lost it to R&B. Another thing that helped R&B is its full transition from Being Soul, usually dull music to more danceable R&B. But all in all, Rap is still Rap, and the movement is still moving on, on the underground. You can use Kanye and 50's battle for supremacy to check the active presence of rap. People went for the real and not the derailed contents, Rap is Alive |

You never can tell, you may be correcting your Boss some other time. Can you justfiy the use of those corrections stating the rules that guide each? if you care to answer anywayz.
