If this thing you wrote is true then I am very sorry for you. She made you her number one mugu of the highest order. How can you buy a girl I phone and BlackBerry while using Nokia torch light, you send her card everyday and she does not call you. How many times have you sent card to your mother or father. I am highly disappointed in you.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend saga(when I was jobless) by boxer022(m): 1:51pm On Oct 21, 2014
uchdollar111:
Ok, I'm Uche I hail from Abia State. I've been in a relationship with this pretty girl since January I just graduated from the Uni waiting for my NYSC and currently, I don't have a paid job and can't cope with all that, and she knows that, but she keeps on telling me to buckle up,buy her things, make-up, phone etc. show her care, take her out, unless I'll loose her
She tells me that a guy should buy things for his girlfriend and that women love surprises. I've been thinking what I'm not doing right. I call her at least 3 times a week and send her texts regularly. On her part, I can't even remember the last time she called me now when I confronted her about it, she told that it's her habit that she does'nt call, that it is the men in her life that does the calling, I still love this girl, now I'm thinking what should I do?
Uche my brother I feel your pain. Your girlfriend is the material type of girl, who expect her boyfriend to do everything for her. The fact that she told you that it is your duty as her guy to buy her things knowing your present predicament shows that she might be planning of moving out of the relationship because to her you cannot take care of her. I am sure either her friends that are dating rich guys who bought them things may be advicing her to forget about you or another guy is sweet talking her into dating him. I know you really love this girl and all thing been equal you will like to take your relationship to the next level. I believe what you can do is either get a job so as to be able to take care of her or let her go and face your life alone till you find the right person. Your girlfriend is not in that relationship for love but rather for lust and things she can get from it.

I believe that what she can do is look for a very good time when her boyfriend is in a good mood and try to raise up the discussion on how how he will feel if he is dating a bi sexual and the issue of sex. It is from there that she will know if to open up to him or not.

RomanceRe: She Loves Me But I Don't Love Her. Pls advice me by boxer022(m): 11:26pm On Aug 16, 2014
Timijo: There is this girl that we have known each other for a long time. We became close friends, but not a dating relationship. Although when she was in secondary school I coached her to pass her WAEC and JAMB. When she also got admission into poly, I do help her in some of her assignments and also assisted her when she was writing her project. I did all these with a free mind b'cos I did not love her and I don't want to b in any relationship wit her. When she got a banking job, she started asking me for my plans about settling down but I do change d topic. She has been coming to my house all this while. She will say that she just come to rest and she will nt want to live if I did nt say "I am going out". Of a recent, she started iniating some foul plays which can lead to romance but I do ignore her. Now, yesterday she came, and relaxed for some times. We were discussing and she wanted to touch my cheek but I pushed her and she started saying my head, my head and so on. So I moved closer to carry her on the rug and to say am sorry but she grabbed my head and kissing and romancing started. After the scene, she xpected me to say I love her and probably propose to her but I did nt do any of these b'cos I don't love her and I want to b faithful to my God and my fiancèe. I want to tell her that I don't love her and I don't want to date her without causing her any injury. Please, hnw do I say this?
My brother this lady really loves you and I know you like her even though you don't live her. I will like you to seat her down any other time she comes to your house and tell her what you really feel. I know she will understand you.

Pls i need advice!
I've been in a relationship with this girl over a year
now, when we started i asked her if she had an ex-
boyfrnd & she sayed yes bt told me she is still a
virgin & never had sex before. I myself has promised
myself never to have sex untill marriage. I told her
this & i said i wont do it untill marriage, she also
agreed & said thats also her principle.
Now we are here, i've been wanting to kiss her bt she
always refuse & even push me away if i tried. I hardly
even hold her hands when we walk down the street. I
sometimes feel we are just classmate nt pple in love.
I'm now bothered cos my affection towards her is
gradually dying cos she dosent show me she loves
me. I promised her marriage & i dnt want to lose her.
I despirately need a kiss 4rm her bt she wont give me
that untill we get married & i dnt want to go & meet
someone else cos i've never kissed before. I need a
little affection too
Pls advice me what shld i do & if i notice she is nt a
virgin after marriage i will divorse her.

#BOOMBA
I want to believe that she told you the truth about her virginity and if that be the case, the two of you agreed to abstain from sex till marriage. Now you want to kiss her and she does not agree neither does she allow you touch her. She knows that from kiss, it will grow to touching and then to what the two of you agreed not to do. She is trying to keep your agreement with her and you are complaining. Saying that your love for her is reducing as a result of her not allowing you to kiss or touch her means that you don't love her but rather you lust gorgeous her. You want her to show you affection which also means having sex with you which is canceling your agreement with her.

mizcalvina: Am into a distance relationship with my bf, after he graduated from igbinedion university akada, he left Benin back to porthacourt, we haven't seen for over 3months, i told him i was gonna visit ph cos of my bestie's elder sis wedding which i told him i will spend just 2days. I went on Sunday and i was gonna leave on Tuesday, we planned meeting in an eatery but i couldnt make it that day b/cos of the tight schedule,i told him am sorry i couldnt make it, all of a sudden he told me he,s no longer interested in the relationship that i dnt care abt him that's why i couldnt see, am actually surprise and speechless ryt now..
I feel your pain my sister, I believe that his anger was based on the fact that you did not keep to your agreement to meet up with him. I believe he must have waited for you for a long time in the place you agreed to meet him and did not see you. What you would have done was call him when you noticed that you could not meet up with him again. You called him later and he must have been annoyed because you did not call him to tell him before he left home that you could not make it thereby waisting his time. I advice you let him know what exactly made you not meet with him as agreed and also that you care for him and really love him.

cupid0: hello, am new in this forum.
I was a stone hearted lady who doesn't fancy guys, I had no time for love until I met him.
we were best buddies. I loved him with all my heart, body n spirit. I don't fancy a guy footing my bills but rather foot his . he asked me to date him the first time n I refused but I found out that my heart beats whenever I see him. he asked me out again n I agreed. we had a disagreement. 2weeks ago n he said hurtful things but later apologized. we broke up 3 days ago with his excuse that I rejected him the first time he asked me out. now I can't get over him n I want him back. please I need matured advice
I will like you to make him understand the situation you were in before he asked you to date him. The fact that your heart beats whenever you see him shows that you love him. I know you want him back but the problem now is if he wants you back. Before going to him to ask him to return to you, I advice you make investigation into if he has another person he loves. From this you will know if to go to him or not.

RomanceRe: I Caught My Best Friend In Bed With His Younger Sister....who Is My Girlfriend by boxer022(m): 4:55pm On Aug 09, 2014
marveangel: This I must say is the most heart breaking and confusing thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life...

What am sharing with you guys is strange but completely true...it is not some stories you read online or something you just hear withoutt source this one happened to me first hand...

A few days ago, I decided to visit my Girlfriend at her place...We've being dating for close to two years now and in that time I have formed some sort of friendship with her siblings especially her immediate elder brother who is about my age and also an Arsenal fan like me....I was dead bored of staying home alone and PHCN or whatever their new name was, wasn't doing me any good. I needed some 'fun' and someone to hang out with.... but who better to hang out with than my very pretty girlfriend I thought to myself....I put on my clothes(of course I had taken my bath earlier) and straight I went....Normally I would have called to let her know I was on my way but I didn't want to be disappointed, better to get there and find out she isn't home than to sit home alone with nothing to do....at least maybe I'll meet Ben her elder brother and we could just chat about 'Gunners' and our match against Manchester City(The Community Shield). That was my very last thought as I got off the cab(taxi) that had dropped me just in front of her house...I paid the Cab man and walked into the compound.

'Typical Ben' I muttered as I heard the loud music coming from the living room just I stood at the door....at least Ben was in...'(Up gunners)' I said to myself as I smiled and tap the door once... twice... thrice.....who was I kidding there is no way Ben would hear me with that kind of noise.....I reached to my pocket brought out my phone and dialed his number but he wouldn't pick...ha!

"Ben" I called from outside the door yet no response....I decided to just bang the door as loud and as long as I can until he comes out....I only had to hit the door once before it opened up to me....apparently the door wasn't even locked just closed....I cussed myself for not being vigilant enough as I stepped into the parlour...But there wasn't anyone inside....the television was on and of course the sound system that was producing all the niose (music)...Since I didn't see anyone in the parlour I decided to check my girlfriend's room maybe she'll be inside but her room was locked which gave me the impression that she wasn't home...It didn't bother me much though coz I was certain Ben would be in his room at least the loud "Olamide song from the sound system confirms that so I went to his door tap it once and pushed it opened..........

Ben was lying on his bed, completely naked and a girl was on top of him who was also naked and they were both going at it...she was riding him, going up and down on His member like one of those scene from a porn movie..... Ben opened his eyes and shouted "shit Jesus.....JJ(that's my nickname and what most of my friends and even my GF call me)...ohhh...shit"..... on hearing this the girl jump up from on top of him and faced me..............I froze......it was........http://lifestimulus.com/?p=2207
If this your thread is real, I advice you distance yourself from both your girlfriend and her brother as they are encouraging inbreeding which is an abomination.

The reason I say poverty na disease is because poverty has made my fiance who I love so much and we were planning to wed next year dump me for a rich man. This lady opened up honestly to me that she had been dating this elder secretly and he is going to meet her parents. He bought a CRV jeep for her and he promised to give her after the introduction. AFter service they both still communicate very much and still av dat love feelins btwn them., the chick is older dan d coper guy wit 4yrs and one day she asked the coper guy if he would like to marry her the corper guy told her dat he would love to marry her but d age diff is too much dat he won't like to marry sumone dat is oda than him dat much buh he loves her vry much.
The corper guy is still unemploy and still scoutin for job.
Now the oda guy is pannin to marry her buh she don't like him 4 marriage tinz and dis chick is nt gettin any younger
Note:the dis guy loves her very very much buh she dosnt love the guy, she only love him bcus of d moni and he is carin..

Would u advice her to marry d guy or she should nt? Matured mind required plllllssssss
First and foremost your friend is a very wicked girl, she is the type that gives bad names to true love. She has been dating somebody she does not love for that past 3 years and till now is still hiding her true feeling from the guy. I am really disappointed in her and I believe in whatever situation she finds herself she will never be happy. I am going to answer this your question because of you her friend trying to help her. She should not marry the guy, she should simply tell the guy that she is not interested in marrying him. She should tell him the truth and allow him to go and look for a girl that will love him. If she insist on getting married to him, she will never be happy in that marriage and it will not last, the next thing you will hear is that she is divorced. As for the other guy which she said that she met during her service and loves him, she should not hope that he will marry her as he has already told her the truth.
RomanceRe: I Stole My Best Friend's Boyfriend by boxer022(m): 2:46pm On Aug 09, 2014
oladimejiX: We were in our final year of high school, and my beautiful, highly intelligent and talented best friend, Fiona, had met the man of her dreams. She was over the moon in love with him and I could understand why. He was caring and thoughtful, tall and good-looking. He was serious eye candy and I found myself blushing in his company and often had impure thoughts about him.

Fiona and I were both equally ambitious to go to university the next year.

For the past six years we'd been inseparable, spending every weekend camped out at each other’s houses. We'd had our fair share of boyfriends along the way, but always remained true to one another in the name of female solidarity.

But I knew Ryan was different. He wasn’t just a distraction for Fiona, he was the one. We had our final exams to study for and they paced their time together, kindly including me on outings as often as they could.

When Ryan's parents invited Fiona to dinner to meet the girl of his dreams, I was invited along as well. They all seemed to adore her and when Ryan's father confided in me that "she was the girl he would marry", I felt the first twinge of jealousy set in.

I had never before felt jealous of her, because I loved her unconditionally as my best friend. While she was a natural blonde with bright blue eyes, I was confident with my smattering of freckles and hazel eyes. I felt we were both pretty in our respective ways.

Our school year ended on a high note, with both of us doing very well academically. Fiona was dux and we all went out to celebrate. Ryan was so proud of her and gave her an amazing commitment ring. I was green with envy.

When the university offers came in, Fiona was offered a full scholarship to study medicine at Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand. I did not get into the medical course I'd applied for, but was accepted for a BSC degree at Sydney University in our home town. At first I was sad that we'd be separated, but then I remembered how envious I had been feeling lately. I reasoned some distance between us might be a good thing.

Ryan was inconsolable when he found out about her offer, as he'd just accepted a new job in Sydney and this was to be the start of a rewarding career for him. They spent every living moment together leading up to her departure for university. I was left out of their plans. I felt sorry for myself and missed my best friend.

The time soon arrived for Fiona to move countries and leave Ryan and me behind. Ryan was as lost as I felt and he started to spend more and more time with me and my family.

I saw this as my opportunity and turned on all the charm. I was always so grateful to see him, chatting about Fiona and filling him in on her university gossip. One day I hinted that she’d met a fellow student she was pretty interested in.

This broke Ryan's heart, but I had no conscience. I knew that I wanted him for myself. I was prepared to go to battle and lose Fiona’s friendship for him.

They exchanged a few heated emails, with Ryan accusing her of cheating on him. She invited him to come over so they could sort out this misunderstanding.

He asked me for advice and I lied blatantly, telling him Fiona had treated all her past boyfriends this way. He believed me, as he reasoned I knew her best, and broke it off with her. I could tell her world had crumbled. She called me to chat and Ryan answered the phone. He was firm when he told her that it was really over between them and revealed that he was interested in me now. At last, I was victorious!

I cut all ties completely with Fiona, changed my mobile number, moved in with Ryan and warned my family that I wanted nothing more to do with Fiona.

A couple of years later we got married and Ryan supported me through university. Over the years we had two children who both look so much like him.

A year ago Ryan was offered a career change with a move to Auckland, and I instantly thought of Fiona. It had been 12 years since we had seen her. We discussed it and both felt that if she were still living in New Zealand, we would have no problem seeing her again.

I found her email address and we began to chat. She was now a successful doctor practicing in Auckland and was very happy to make contact with me again. Ryan and I decided to invite her over to meet our children.

When she walked in the door, she lit up the room with her beauty, grace and wonderful energy and I remembered just how much I missed her.

She looked amazing, toned and tanned, having just returned to NZ after a summer break in Europe, water-skiing and sailing in the Mediterranean. She'd done very well financially, far better than we had, and owned a lovely heritage home on the shore.

Next to her, with the rush of life and the exhaustion of motherhood, I felt like a wilted flower. I was envious of her lifestyle – she was planning a winter break to ski in the Alps. I realised that I'd missed out on her company all those years and could see how much Fiona lived, played and worked with vitality. I was envious and impressed at the same time.

Our children instantly fell in love with her too. Our young daughter asked her, "Why don't you have children of your own? You would be a fantastic mum.”

To which Fiona replied, “I've not met the man to spend the rest of my life with yet."

I looked up at Ryan then, and saw his eyes soften. I can’t help feeling responsible for destroying their hopes of a life together.

I really hope they never find out how I lied.

Ebubest: i called my girlfriend twice she busied the call and immediately switch her phone of without reason. After 2 hours i called her again she didn't pick it, 10mins later i called her with another number she picked it and started giving silly excuses.
If you were me what will you do? advice please no insults, thanks.
My brother I feel your pain. From what you wrote I understood that she has started to lose interest in you gradually. You called her twice and she did not pick instead she busied it which means that she was very busy and did not want you to disturb her. Seeing that it is not the number that she knows that called her, she decided to pick the call. What I advice you do is when next you see her, sit her down and explain to her the changes which you noticed in her and let her know that if she is not interested in no longer you and your relationship with her, she should let you know. I believe that she will open up and tell you what ever the problem is if she truly loves you the way you love her.
CultureRe: Is Traditional Marriage Complete Marriage? by boxer022(m): 2:33pm On Aug 09, 2014
YorubaJesus: I agree the family won't accept her as their daughter or son if there isn't a traditional rite or marriage but you see a couple is made up of two people. When other peoples opinions come into the relationship, trouble comes. If two people choose not to get married then so be it. But in developed countries, they have live in partners, legal partners etc. Marriage is not a necessity.
As far as anybody is concerned whether Christian or Muslim, once their is no traditional right their daughter is not married and any other man that comes for her hand in marriage is very free to do so. You said in developed countries marriage is not a necessity, I know you mean like USA or UK etc. These developed countries do not do traditional rights before their daughter is married and it is a trend that they leave by and teach any country which they colonised.
CultureRe: Is Traditional Marriage Complete Marriage? by boxer022(m): 2:20pm On Aug 09, 2014
As far as Igbo culture is concerned, the traditional wedding is a complete union of the bride and groom. My reasons are as follows:

(1) It is only in the traditional wedding that the parents of the girl who is to get married bless the new union.

(2) It is only in the traditional wedding that the opportune to pay the girls bride price.

(3) Couples can live together after their traditional marriage and start having kids.

(4) If traditional wedding not held and the white wedding is held then as far as Igbo culture is concerned the parents of both bride and groom CANNOT and WILL NOT attend such a gathering and to the parents of the girl, their daughter is not married.
CultureRe: Is Traditional Marriage Complete Marriage? by boxer022(m): 2:10pm On Aug 09, 2014
YorubaJesus: Marriage is just a piece of paper whether its cultural, legal, white or black. If two people are meant to be together, they will without the need of getting married.
I beg to disagree with you sir, in the igbo culture, if the introduction and traditional wedding does not take place, it means that the girl is not married even though the guy and the lady are living together till she dies. To the family and the kindred or town she is from their daughter is just dating that young man and is still single.
RomanceRe: He Disturbs Me With Generator Because I Said No To Him by boxer022(m): 9:02am On Jul 29, 2014
The house you are staying, how many windows does it have? If it has more than one and the second one is facing a different direction from where the generator is, then I advice you close the window that is near the generator area and manage the one that is not facing the generator. If on the other hand it is only one window, then if you have a ceiling fan or any fan at all, then close the window that bring in the generator fume into your room and use the fan to generate air in your room. If unfortunately there is no light in that area then still close the window and open your door for air to come in. I am sure he is using this as a tactic to force you into saying yes to his dating proposal. As a student that you are, avoid any form of distraction from any angle and focus on your main aim for going to school.
FamilyRe: Men Are NOT The HEAD Of The Family! Read My Reason! by boxer022(m): 8:42am On Jul 29, 2014
Mr OP this your thread may be be seen as an insult to the men of this world. It can also be seen as saying that God who created man and made woman from the rib of a man is nothing but a liar or a fraud like you. God who created man made it mandatory that a man will leave his father's house and also a woman will leave her father's house and they will become one body, made man the head of the family from the beginning of creation. If you are a Christian, please research your bible you will see that God made man the head of the family and the woman to remain submissive to her husband. The angle which you should have followed to buttress your point is that even though man is the head of the family and his wife being his missing rib is submissive to him does not give him the right to man-handle the woman. It does not also give him the right to mistreat her. There are ways to respond to a woman's bad attitude and one of them is by rejecting her food whenever she provokes you. Any woman who is really good will be very bitter if her husband does not eat her food. That is the worst punishment you can give to a woman. I believe your anger is based on either you are from a broken home or a home that is not at peace.

CelebritiesRe: Very Pissed Off Fans Curse Out Peter Okoye & Lola For Shunning Jude's Wedding by boxer022(m): 11:31am On Jul 19, 2014
Tstark: Idiot! I guess u where there when the mother was saying all this, and the mother was also a fortune teller? Life is what you make it, you settle down with whoever makes you happy, and that's exactly what Peter did. Na Jude go born pikin for am? Abi the supposedly more mature Jude no boycott him broda wedding?
If you did not know find out from sources, the mum was a prophetess when she was alive. Talking about the supposed Peter's wedding, Jude went to their tailor that prepared the clothes for the wedding and took measurement for the clothes for the wedding.

Jivi: I cannot remember vividly though but Have you read the Novel. "The gods are not to blame". where it was predicted that the king's baby son will kill him and marry his wife when he grows up. This prophesy led to the king being paranoid and ordered the killing of his own baby son and the person assigned to kill the son happen to let the baby live and the baby not knowing its origin became powerful in another land and accidentally killed his father not knowing it was his father and married his mother unknowingly. To cut the long story short, the king's action due to the paranoia created by the prophesy was what led to the prophesy being fulfilled.

I think the whole problem started when they went against Peter's choice of a wife. This is the mum of his kids. He is an adult, not a child. They can only advise him, not force him. Lola is the type of woman he wants, not his elder brother's or his mum's type of woman. This feels like complete hypocrisy to me. I could argue that he is not in support of his elder brother's choice of a wife and that is why he did not go too. One man's meat is another man's poison.
The mother from onset has seen what will happen and warned him about her even before she started giving birth for him. I am sure that she did not marry him for love but for his fame and money. That is why I said that when the drummer playing the song he is dancing to stops playing he will see the hand writing on the wall. Write it that I told you as soon as this P square reign is over and the money is no more she will elope with those children. Talking about the children, look very well at the first son and tell me where the resemblance of Peter is. Peter is afraid of going for DNA test because he knows that it will bring out the truth in the whole matter. Peter is a dark person but his son is fair in complexion, non of his family members from both the fathers and mothers side is as fair as that boy. So Peter may have got her pregnant or not but but definitely that boy is not his.

Jude did not attend Peter's wedding because he was not in support of it. Their late mum was also against it and must have known that it will bring about this problem and told him (Peter) not to marry her but he blatantly refused and went ahead to do it which led to their earlier fight. I am highly disappointed in Peter for doing this to his Elder brother. The entire Okoye family except him attended the wedding, even their father all the way from Jos. Very soon when the drummer of the dance he (Peter) is listening to stops playing he will see he hand writing on the wall and by then may have been too late. I am sure their mother will be very bitter and crying in her grace because of the happenings in her home.

She said she needs "love and care". I believe that what she is trying to tell you is that you are not showing her enough love, and your caring for her is below average. What you can do is find out things she like which you cann afford and get some for her. Also if you call her three times a day try to increase it. Make her feel she is important to you and that she means the world to you. I am sure she will appreciate it and your love will blossom.

Mr Jimoh Ibrahim I appreciate the fact that you are trying to remind the Christians about the laws of God. The problem there is that the way you are counting it is not the way the Bible counts it. The seventh month in the Bible is referring to is the Jewish seventh month which is Elul and not July. The 10th day of that month all mankind must humble themselves before God and atone for our sins. According to Bible records that day will be a day of atonement. It is one of the laws of God that must be obeyed by Man.
