Thanks dear. You're very welcome !

@Disguy and @Justwise, I've been trying for days to post pictures. After uploading, I'll try to label pics only for the submit button to disappear shocked. Then I'll try to upload only the pics, it will show empty message.

This is the only way I can post. Abeg who I offend? grin
Try to label/write the text FIRST before attaching the photo let's see if it will go through.

Good day narialanders,
I went to FBNquets office in Maitama since Monday morning to fill out the necessary form for MMF, till date now response. I called the rep that attended to me, she promised that at the end of today 15/01/2020 it will be processed and it has not be processed.
My questions is can I move to stanbic or even something else?
Also with these NEWLY advertised fg bond, what is the lowest amount and can I get it in commercial bank, if no where can I get it?

IyawoTobe warned me oooo, though it can late.
Yes you can try stanbic, ARM, investmentone or any other that will serve you. It's better you do your due diligence and have confidence in whoever you want to manage your funds. This life is to short to waste it regretting ..
There is a thread for bonds here on NL, you can find it and learn from experience people there.
Nevertheless, you can get it from commercial banks minimum of 2years tenure and a minimum amount of 5k maximum 50million
Note that FG bond is different from FG savings bond.

What exactly is not true? Will any investment company tell you that your capital is not secure, even MMM will tell that your capital is secure
Study this factsheet, it will help your understanding of MMF

I asked a similar question here, but no one responded, I had to go do some research on my own in the Mutual Fund Thread, after reading from page 1 - 70 here are my finding

You capital is not preserved like TB, in the event that the Fund Managers go down, your fund goes with them
Most have a Tenure of 3 months
You can pull out your funds on Maturity
They charge around 1.8%
I dont know the answer the No 5, a quick Google search will help

FGN Bonds is a minimum of 2 years
You can get at Commercial Banks
Rate are b/w 7 - 8%

Best Regards
Rich Forever
You need to understand that most mutual fund administrator have different products e.g money market fund (mmf), fixed income fund, balanced fund etc. Because most of the funds in money market fund is invested in T-bills, the capital preservation is same as T-bills but for the other products that they invest in other sectors, the capital preservation may not be as such but those products sure have high interest rate.

The page has issues on mmf interests not paid correctly, delayed response to emails, arm mmf. Maybe it's not the right page.

Pls house/forum I really need urgent reply to my earlier questions:

Wow I want to say a big thank you all the contributors here, so much too learn. God bless you all richly in Jesus name Amen.
Well I have decided to try mmf using fbn quest since tb is too low, now here are my questions:
a1. Will my capital be preserved just like tb?
2. What are the tenure(tb has 30d, 60days etc)
3. Can I pull out my funds anytime it matures
4. Any charges?
b. Now for fg savings bonds what is the minimum tenure?
2. Can I get it at any commercial bank?
What are the rates now?
For someone who is learning stock and decides to buy 50k of( E.g uacn or Access), is the person
a share holder or what is the difference.
C. What is FS
questions.
Thanks
Let me answer the "a" part of your questions pertaining MMF
1. Yes your capital is preserved just like Tbills. When you check the factsheets some part ( in %age) of the MMF funds are invested in Tbills that's why when rates go down in Tbills it affects MMF too.
2.MMF, accured interest are recorded/paid on daily basis and its compounded quarterly that's if you choose to reinvest it or you can have it withdrawen to your bank account.
3.you can pull out your funds anytime you so wish.. but if you do so within the first 30day, it may attract a charge/fine.
4.NO charges except you decide to withdraw before the first 30days elapse which attract a fine of 20% of your accured interest
Yes FBNquest have an office in maitama, Abuja.
But their head office is in Lagos.

House, please I'm a young investor. Please I want to be investing with the FBN asset management. Will get an account opened tomorrow, then, I'll deposit 20k monthly. Please how can I calculate my cumulative interesthuh??
is interest quarterly??¿
Interest rates are published daily on their site as the days go by and business progress
https://fbnquest.com/asset-management/historical-funds/
You can't calculate your cumulative interest upfront because the rates fluctuates. But you can monitor your account and the interest been paid on the FBN Edge mobile app
And your acured interest can either be paid to your bank account or reinvest/compounded at the end of a quarter

Tnx, So pls ur advise on how to top up without ish with these options
Use your bank mobile app to transfer or register on quickteller online platform and use it to transfer or better still withdraw the money, go to their banking hall and deposit into the acct. With these three ways, you can put your MMF number/name on the narration.

CHOOSE HIGH RISK OR NO RISK.

Better still take 10% of you capital and start a higher risk business
with better profit margins.

A retail business can yield you an average of 10% every month!
After 12 months, 120% gross profit.
50% net profit.

Never Start a business in a big way!
Facebook.com started as thefacebook.com by 1 web designer in his hostel room.

Keep the excess capital safe in Tbills till you see the potential for better growth
by adding more capital. Then you add more.
