1. You want a woman who was raised in a rich home to come and experience poverty with you? Was that some sort of agreement you both made when you got married that you would both live solely off your money and not a dime from her own family money? undecided

2. The business they are planning to open is for her, abi? Not for you? Why should they INCLUDE you in the plan? She is from that family so should she not at least get her share of the family money for herself or something? undecided

3. When you were dating her, did you not notice this same thing about her? undecided
Lol.

Check out the one frothing above you.

It's a red flag to have a rich father. Same guys who say they can't marry broke ladies. But it appears that they can't relish using finances to oppress ladies from such backgrounds, so they begin complaining. This wife is bringing a lot to the table, the husband is upset because he cannot control her with money.

Another man is emasculating him.

I'm currently experiencing this too on my marriage, but mine is not as bad as this. May be, is because my own wife's family are not as rich as you have depicted your in-laws.

Apart from the fact she is a spoilt brat, do you think she actually loves you? If yes, then, there is a way out.
My candid advice is that, don't fight her. When she needs your attention, like talking to you, just ignore and don't go far away from her. Your countenance will signal her that something is not alright in her home. I think that should bring her mind back to you.
However, if she actually loves material life than her marriage, my man, just cool temper.
When you carry proper, you will pay her in the same coin. For now, face your work and hustle more.
Gbam!
Worst advice is quoted

You are a grown man, married, and the best advice you can give another man is the silent treatment? When it spirals out of control, and destroys the marriage, you will only be making your place in hell hotter for such needless evil.

Love your wife. If you can't do that, don't expect her to love you.
Family › Re: My Wife Calls Her Family For Everything by BRATISLAVA: 1:20pm On Oct 18, 2023
You are upset that she has a family who cares, and that she doesn't have to go on her knees begging you for things and thanking you for giving her some of those things when you have fallen short of her expectations. You would prefer to be her alpha and Omega, the one who can deal ruthlessly with her at his every whim, who maketh and breaketh her.

She's bringing a lot to the table. What isn't there to love about her? You say you can't marry broke ladies, but neither can you handle them when they aren't at your mercy.

There's no pleasing these nairaland men. Just say you're hungry and thirsty for another woman's body, otherwise why would this be an issue? You've seen a broke lady that goes on her knees to thank you when you throw scraps at her and you want her, so now your wife is the bad guy.

Fake story.

Cats are not best friends. They prefer the master and slave relationship where it is the master. And they aren't loyal. Too vengeful for friendship. Have a semi-toxic relationship with new babies...

Lol. Too much television has made people believe lizards and reptiles can become a person's best friend. They need your body heat, that's all.

The only animal that has the capacity to become your best friend is a dog.

Anything to tantalize male sentiment. They constantly trigger themselves so that they can live in misogyny and get kicks from seeing others guys get triggered.

99% of the stories are created for male interaction on just the one topic.

Nigerians calling owl a strange bird in this century.
If you saw a bird you've never seen before at your house, maybe a ghost faced bat, we're sure you would welcome it as a familiar and domestic bird . Not everyone knows what an owl is. Though these ones look good.

You still don't understand.
Someone with viral conjunctivitis has hyperlacrimations(excessive eye secretions) and gritty eyes, and thus would rub his eyes to clear them and reduce the pain, itchiness and fluid. Now he'll come to the hospital and open the doors with virus(and bacteria superinfection) laden hands. The next patient with something different like malaria comes, opens the same door and picks up some virus. Then rubs his eyes or nose, few days later gets it. He may also pick it if he borrows a pen or a personal object from the conjunctivitis guy. Would you say the second person(malaria patient) has poor hygiene?
That's why I regularly wipe down my consulting room door handles with spirit swab after I get these cases. To prevent the next patient picking it up
It is down to poor hygiene. The person with excess lacrimation ought to wash their hands with antiseptic soaps or better still catch the liquid with something absorbent and disposable. And people should know by now that there are viruses and bacteria lurking on nearly every surface and wash their hands frequently. By now everyone ought to wear a mask in public and make use of hand sanitizers. It's a hygiene thing.

The person with conjunctivitis is unhygienic to touch everywhere with their effluent. And the person without it is responsible for themselves, to protect themselves from it. I have seen people with the condition and I can only conclude that it is caused by poor hygiene on their part, and ignorance of their poor hygiene by others.

Its not about hygiene. You can have the best hygiene and have viral conjunctivitis every day. Why? It's spread via body fluids and droplets. So you can pick it up from door handles, exchanging pens etc
Still poor hygiene. Post-Covid, receive should have better ideas about sanitation.

All of you who "fight" off medicine induced drowsiness need a strait jacket. Is it like a badge of honor? Some people like fighting it off for kicks. And others savor the sleep.

I think the resistance gets better with age, though. Couldn't tolerate such before, but now fighting it off comes more easily. Or maybe it's discipline. You snooze you lose. grin

5) you don't know how to get a woman in the mood.
6) she's not performing her duties as your wife.
7) she knows you can't get it anywhere else so she keeps manipulating you with it; you've gat no options..

if the problem is 1, 2, 4 and 5, then the problem is you... if the problem is 3, 6 and 7, then don't also perform your duties on her, ignore her like she doesn't exist... she wants to friendzone you in the marriage, if she doesn't fvck you, who does she fvck? and did you meet her a virgin? if it persists, get another wife or cheat since she doesn't know what's expected of her, she should go back to her father's house if she's not emotionally matured enough to be married...
Are you even married? Sounds like she's depressed.

Why is the woman to "gift" her husband this but the husband is not equally considered to owe the same or similar gift to her? Why? undecided

2. Many of our mothers suffered needlessly in the name of marriage. The majority of them eventually abandoned in marriage. So many of their teachings turned out to have been born of delusions they had regarding marriage and not of their actual experiences in marriage. Fortunately, many of their children never forgot the lessons they learned from actually watching their mothers slave away in the name of holding up marriage. undecided
In one breath they say it is a gift, the next they say it doesn't matter when a virgin is crying about the fact that they really don't care about this "gift". It's a gift because they always want want want. But they cannot give anything else, except maybe money. They offer their used bodies in return, naturally.

Nigerian women are suffering.

Nazgul:
Exactly.

This is one of the numerous action most females make in their relationships and end up remaining single.

Some girls might choose not to cook for a man, and he'll marry them and even hire a cook.

You might try it, and your boyfriend would dump you.

I know a girl during my university days, who cohabitated with her boyfriend from year 1 to final year. They're happily married today.

Some girls might try it and end up having series of abortions, STDs and a heartbreak.

The issue here is to understand your man, and make decisions based on what's best for both of you and not because another lady said so.

Never compare your relationship with others.
Yet you are always here preaching. Meaning you are here destroying other people's lives with your perpetual "advice".

Hypocrisy has two horns and is a male gene.

Men who talk too much think they have "made it in life". They tend to preach what they will never do. That, and the tireless hypocrisy. The other one is cooking rice after his years of I'll advice, advice on women and relationships from the angle of women and rants.

Lol.

When it comes to family matters, the worst logical people to listen to are Nigerian men. They will perform mental acrobatics to support their brother in his time of callowness and senseless evil, and the end result is you posting numerous times to try to understand them.

You can't understand them. They are keeping to the bro code. You'll see all manner of pointless advice. I'm sure the usual, "take someone he respects to talk to him, an old person" advice that means nothing has come up.

Switch the genders and a divorce/cheating is the best thing for her to do.
