I was shocked today ooo...imagine seeing how m̶̲̥̅̊ účĥ of my precious time spent on this forum!I joined nairaland in feb 2008 with my first ID and registered this one in january 2010.When I checked how m̶̲̥̅̊ účĥ of my time spent on both I'd today,my head heavy me.I have spent 3 months and 18 hours on d first one while I have spent 1 month and 4 days on this one..imagine d sum...4 months 4 days and 18 hours....what å time...How long have u been on nairaland? |

I went to visit å muslim friend of mine during d ramadan fast and decided to spend night at his place.At 5a.m,everybody was awake and after prayers and all other islamic protocols,i accompanied my friend to meet his elder brother near d mosque.Guess what I saw!I saw daniluv....never knew he was å muslim...and guess what he was doing...I brought out my nokia 3310 and snapped him..and here is what he was doing..

[b]hmmm....before I became born again,I had many dreams but were just product of my daily activities and somehow my spiritual status.I say this because,before my conversion,I dreamt many times of eating in d dream,being pursued by armed masquerade,trying to run in d dream because of fear but cannot move from å particular spot etc.but when I became born again,everything changed.I would see myself praying in d dreams...I would see all sorts of creatures like humans with no flesh,some with two head or some with very abnormal features and I will not be afraid...I would see them pointing their fingers at me as if accusing me of tormenting them... Later my dreams metamorphosed into another dimension...I started seeing things that would happen in d future especially those that has to do with people around me...I would see things in my dream and the meaning or message in d dream will be very clear...I even prevented a brother in d church from making å grave mistake when I told him of an impending accident if he travelled home for a wedding ceremony with friends...He obeyed and later reported how those dat went died in ån auto crash on their way back from d ceremony....So I will say dreams are very good means of communication between u and ur creator.But the only way to activate this relationship is by becoming aware of your spiritual life..check your life..change your ways and one of the first thing u will notice when u become born again is that your dreams will change. But I will like to add that,we shouldn't pay much importance to dreams..or better still don't sleep on your dreams..if u do,u will start linking ur dreams to ur daily activities and then u start making wrong judgement about your dreams.Just note your dreams and pray about them.[/b] |

okeyxyz: there is absolutely no such thing as freewill or chance or whatever you may call it. everything in nature is determined by natural laws, no matter what level, be it macro, micro, quark, etc. freewill or chance implies that an event occurs from nothing, that energy and matter can suddenly "become", without cause. It just doesn't make sense. You speak about the availability of scientific methods by which predictions can be made and therefore without such method, then chance comes into the equation. That is flawed logic, determinism does not depend on the means to observe, measure and predict, rather it depends on the matter itself. Every matter has a nature, state, structure and cause. Thus determined. it dosen't matter that you have not YET found a way to observe it.Good point u have here. But how do we explain d concept of destiny as it relates to freewill and determinism?Is man predetermined/destined? Does he have d freedom to become whatever pleases him? |
