erico2k2: I am very conversant with BA classes. BA Economy has 3 levels: Basic Economy with only hand luggage entitlement, Standard Economy with a hand luggage, a laptop bag and 2 checked in luggage, then Premium Economy which is Standard Economy plus more benefits. |

Nnemomatina: Your flight won't be cancelled cos of tier 4, unless the UK Govt bans flights or your airline has other logistics issues. If you are using Heathrow, that airport is already tier 4 and flights can't be rerouted to other airports. Also, travelling in tier 4 for work is an exception from the tier 4 restrictions. |

TimelessOrnamen: BA allows change of date or cancellation for a voucher. However, I believe you should not be worried about POE. I have someone, on visitor visa, coming in tomorrow (23rd) with BA through Heathrow. Ask me tomorrow evening for update on their experience. Just make sure you complete your Passenger Locator Form |

GreatMage: NO, it is just a mail to say a decision has been reached on your application. That's about it. The decision could be an approval or rejection which you wouldn't know until you get your passport. You just have to hope for the best. 1 Like |

LagosismyHome: Ok, thanks but the latest tier 4 was introduced just after 4pm on Dec 19th to take effect from midnight. This is the reason I'm particularly keen on arrivals from Dec 20. |

graceodini: If you would be in tier 4, you are pretty much stuck at home even after 'Test to Release' after 5 days. If not in tier 4, that means you are prepared to do private Covid test twice in the UK. You need one which test date and result date fall within 120 hours (5 days) prior to your departure from the UK back to Nig. The one you plan to do after 5 days would expire by the date you plan to leave back to Nig. Pls ignore this. For some reason in my head I thought u wanted to come for 10 days |

iyatrustee: Hi, u mean you flew Airfrance into the UK on Sunday being today (after PM's latest broadcast)? At Heathrow, what tier did you say you were going into from the airport pls? Was it at Heathrow POE they stressed you or at Nigeria Airport while they enquired if UK visitor visas were allowed into the country? I have someone due in on Tues on a Visitor visa, reason why I ask. |

Yuzee: Definitely yes, u can use family or friend's house and you will definitely be asked this at POE. Adhering to it is a requirement but advisory cos there is no real way of policing it 1 Like |

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Brightingsus: 8:18am On Sep 30, 2020 |
graceodini: Official gov.uk information suggests if you are coming to the UK for less than 14 days, then you would have to isolate for all of your stay in the UK. However be prepared to face tougher scrutiny at the POE as to why you wanna come and lock yourself in for all of your stay.

Kinpelz: Family member boarded successfully the BA flight from Lagos to London tonight and no mention of Covid test at the airport. At the security, after checking in bags, they were given a form each to fill their local addresses in Nig, I presume for contact tracing. |

Yemisih: I believe each applicant requires their own priority payment, otherwise only the applicant that paid for priority would have that service. I have a friend that applied for his wife and child for a spouse visa but he paid for priority service for each of the 2 applicants. I dont know if this is same for Tier 2. |
