I may ask, does a tither walk with Jesus when we know Jesus didn't tithe, He never taught tithing, He never gave a command to tithe, His disciples never preached tithing-so if we were to be like Jesus, let us walk together and not tithe... OLAADEGBU: |
I had found two types of Pentecostal's that exist in Church today. The problems we have-it doesn't matter how many times we have brought the Word of God forward-I find most tithers refuse to study the scriptures, not because God said: test everything and it's a decent thing to do, it's just 'they were taught God only blesses tithers who tithe" It's not completely true, God blesses non tithers equally.. Some may pull out a scriptures here and there, hoping it may cover up some theories why tithing still exist? {Matthew 5:45} So that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Most don't even test the Word of God-one would think, after reading so many different view points about tithing, they may test the scriptures to see if the Word of God is really true! I would like to say-God takes His Word seriously {2 Timothy 3:16} All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. As a Christian one would think-we all should do the same-but obviously not all Christians believe the scriptures hole? After sharing {1 Corinthians 9:18} But if we were to preach like Paul-we would preach the Word of God free of charge. A tither of great wealth of martial merchandise wrote back and said:: OLAADEGBU:Yes it's the Word of God-and I for one believe God's breath is correcting and training us in righteousness. God's blesses non believers too, He gives rain to fill the land with milk and honey-because He loves us, not because He want's it back every week, '"both" believers or unbelievers take care of the poor, "both" feed the hungry, "both" good Samaritans, "both" love our neighbours and forgive our trespasses with one another! One must be born again before he can enter into the kingdom of God, our blessings is not based on how much you pay your wages into the treasury each week-Jesus said: first seek the kingdom of God and all things shall be added unto you. God blesses us with changes-just believing God, is a blessing, blessings and prospering comes by His Word, His wisdom and knowledge blesses us, we are blessed through His Holy Spirit who teaches us all things, we prosper through knowing Him, relying on Him-praying always to Him, and believing He is Our Father who art in Heaven. Once we call on the name of Jesus-God blesses us freely! {Matthew 6:26} Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor put into barns and yet God feeds them, how much more are you? One would think this forum would catch someones eye, and may think to themselves why are there so many different view points that concerns tithing, "one may even think, after repeatedly reading page after page, someone would test the Word of God just to find out 'what all the fess is all about, and is there any truth in the scriptures-concerning Mr T... |
Thank you-finely we have become friends.. ![]() OLAADEGBU: |

Are you running out of words to say-you don't even believe in the bible-let alone trying to preach it.. OLAADEGBU: PastorKun: OLAADEGBU: |
And it's you who preaches after Mammon OLAADEGBU: |
What about the Apostle Paul? As a former Pharisee, we would expect him to advocate tithing. But when Paul teaches giving {1 Corinthians 16:1–4, 1 Timothy 6:17-19, 2 Corinthians 8–9, Galatians 6:6} he does not mention the T-word. Why not? Obviously, Paul did not want new Gentile believers to be tempted by Judaism. Keeping the gospel pure without adding Jewish rules was his constant concern. The famous Jerusalem Council of {Acts 15} met to decide if the Gentiles had to adhere to Jewish law. The answer was ''No..and that included tithing. OLAADEGBU:I remember these dying words above-you had made it obvious you don't accept Paul's teaching's.. Instead of setting a percentage as the standard, Paul, like Jesus, sets a standard of grace!! Furthermore, neither Peter nor John nor James mentions tithing in their letters. Biblically, where else might we give? New Testament examples include the poor {Galatians 2:10} orphans and widows {James 1:27} and missions {Philippians 4:10–20} We give where you choose to give. Paul summed it up in {2 Corinthians 9:7} “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give.” Won’t this kill support for the local church? No. Not if giving is taught as a part of discipleship regularly. You are expected to teach biblical giving—especially pastors—and you must teach biblically--Many people around the world are under the law to tithing and at the same time, many believers around the world barely give anything at all--this popular tithing teaching is not at all disciplining our people.. "Something must change, and it is the teaching that is suspect. OLAADEGBU: |
Are we walking with God-free of charge? Or are we doing it for the money? |
If I was to witness to a Catholic-anybody-I would be up front with them-Jesus did say the truth will set us free, I would help them find their way, I will direct them where there is so much info to choose from, I would help them to have some what understanding concerning the bible, not only by Word but in power and in the Holy Spirit.. I would show them the bible 'forbids continually offering His body as a Sacrifice, I would show them Jesus is the Eternal once for all Sacrifice. {I would point out the facts from different reviews, Note: All Bible quotations below are taken from a Roman Catholic Bible} {Hebrews 7:22, 27} "...Jesus [also] became the guarantee of an [even] better covenant...He has no need, as did the high priests, to offer sacrifice day after day, first for His own sins and then for those of the people; He did that once for all when He offered Himself". {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} {Hebrews 9:11-15}"But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come to be, passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands {Heaven} ...He entered once for all into the sanctuary...with His own blood...For this reason, He is mediator of a new covenant." {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} {Hebrews 9:24-26} "For Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made by hands...but heaven itself, that He might now appear before God on our behalf. Not that He might offer Himself repeatedly...But now, once for all, He has appeared at the end of the ages to take away sin by His sacrifice." {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} {Hebrews 10:11-14} "Every priest stands daily at his ministry, offering frequently those same sacrifices that can never take away sins. But this One {Christ} offered one sacrifice for sins, and took His seat forever at the right hand of God...For by one offering He has made perfect forever those who are being consecrated." {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} {1 Peter 3:18} "For Christ also suffered for sins once...that He might lead you to God". {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} {Hebrews 6:6} "For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened ... and then have fallen away, to bring them to repentance again, since they are recrucifying the Son of God for themselves and holding Him up to contempt". {The New American Bible, Catholic Bible Press, 1986} Notice, in this last Scripture, St. Paul's statement that repentance is impossible for anyone who is continually recrucifying Jesus Christ again and again! Jesus Christ died once and for all {eternally}. He is not to be recrucified again and again for any reason. As long as He is being so recrucified, it is impossible to come to repentance. Therefore, any person who continually practices the Mass cannot be saved as long as they continue!! Finally, note again that we are quoting a Roman Catholic Bible.!! Note again that the Scriptures quoted above, are from a Roman Catholic Bible. Number how many times these Scriptures use the phrase, "once for all". The Bible absolutely forbids Jesus' sacrifice to be repeated or reenacted!! CRUCIFIX HOLDS JESUS UP TO PUBLIC SHAME But, {Hebrews 6:6} also clearly forbids anyone from "holding Him up to contempt". The Crucifix, so prominently displayed, certainly holds Jesus up to public contempt. Certainly, no form of execution devised in the annals of human history can compare to the Imperial Roman cross for both physical cruelty and emotional pain. Dying on a cross subjected the human body to the greatest physical pain possible, simply because it assaulted every part of the body. But, the emotional anguish was nearly as great as the physical. The victim was stripped naked {the artist's depiction of Jesus wearing a loin cloth is incorrect}. The condemned was routinely beaten, sometimes so severely that sometimes his internal organs were hanging out. His face usually was not recognizable because of the beating. Roman soldiers and onlookers usually taunted the dying victim, adding to the torment. Our Beloved Jesus Christ was subjected to all these things, and more. He was subjected to being hung nude on the Cross in front of all the women who had loved Him so much in life. He was subjected to the taunts of His mortal enemies, the Pharisees, who had plotted to kill Him for so long. Jesus was subjected to the humiliation of the sign above His head, proclaiming this innocent man, as the "King of the Jews". Finally, Jesus had been forced to wear His "kingly" crown, the Crown of Thorns. The shame and agony was so great that even the sun hid its face and Father God turned His back so He would not have to watch the spectacle. Jesus Christ was not only painfully executed on the Cross, He was thoroughly shamed as well. His shame was a significant part of His payment for our sin. The writer to the {Hebrews, 12:2} thus stated, "...For the sake of the joy that lay before Him, He endured the cross, despising its shame..." In this Scripture, the Holy Spirit, speaking through the writer to the Hebrews, has revealed that the Godhead considered the cross to be shameful. It is no wonder that this shameful spectacle was to be done only "once for all", never to be repeated again. And, it is no wonder that the Holy Spirit, speaking through the writer to the Hebrews, warned that no person can be brought to repentance and salvation as long as they are continually holding Jesus Christ up to public shame. But, the Roman Catholic Church holds Jesus up to public shame daily in the Mass. |
{Malachi 1:6-11} “A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the Lord of hosts. {7} “You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying, ‘The table of the Lord is contemptible. {8} And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts. {9} “But now entreat God’s favor, That He may be gracious to us. While this is being done by your hands, Will He accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts. {10} “Who is there even among you who would shut the doors, So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you,” Says the Lord of hosts, “Nor will I accept an offering from your hands. {11} For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; In every place incense shall be offered to My name, And a pure offering; For My name shall be great among the nations,” Says the Lord of hosts. If we believe in the one true God-we are blessed, giving or not 'we are still blessed, if we were to spend more time in the Word of God-testing everything that is preached by a Pastor, we wouldn't be arguing over such men of corrupt minds-destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is their means to financial gain.. I was invited to a bible study last week, bringing with me my bible-purposely I left it in my car, because these day's we don't see bibles floating around the Church anymore, sure enough I was right. As I got to the meeting-I sat down among the small group that attended-firstly I noticed-No bibles around the table-while learning about the meeting-I was given a book that was written by the Pastor, in the meeting the speaker said to us, if we choose to continual this study we need to pay cash and purchase the Pastor's book. It show's without Money there's no-Gospel, the Church is deafeningly about money, I prefer the bible-and if the Pastor had copied from the bible then what is his problem, copying someone else's work and expecting to be paid is heresy. In every Church-great or small-there's at least 10% of believers unfed hungry and disabled crying out to God, "Why is that? Malachi deafeningly has all the answers "will a man rob God. {1 Timothy 6:3-5} Modern day Pharisees who built the Church into a racist state of mind-fighting amongst themselves, arguing, because men of corruption, destitute of the truth who suppose that godliness leads them to mega financial gain. I am not against giving-but giving is not just 10% tithing either, I don't even think about it' but I have giving $$$ thousands in gift's away every year to those I believe are in need, I do my best, and I spend hours night and day preparing, moulding, building, shaping, painting, designing, and creating a product, that would sell, I don't ask for money, nor do I ask for a refund, I don't ask for handouts, I am not greedy-and this is how it should be-what is freely giving by God, is freely handed out to those in need. |
It's the Word of God. ![]() {1 Corinthians 9:18} What then is my reward? [Just this:] that, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge [to everyone], so as not to take advantage of my rights [as a preacher and apostle] in [preaching] the gospel. A prosperity preacher would say" no money-no gospel.. OLAADEGBU: |
Valentines day, Christmas, Easter, and all the other religious day's the Catholic Church had brought to mind, isn't actually carried out the way it is expected in the Catholic Church. There's no point in Valentines day without a relationship-Christmas day is about Santa, Easter is about a bunny, these are worldly day's 'same holiday's with different meanings. Pentecostal's don't celebrate these day's, the way the Catholic Church had laid them out to be celebrated, Pentecostal's celebrate these day's just the way the world had always celebrated them. {Matthew 7:11} If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! The Pentecostal's know these day's is another day for giving!! |
We can argue all day, but the truth of the matter is, I have given you bible knowledge, so what more can I say! When Mary entered into the house-the Holy Spirit in Elizabeth leaped for joy-why because the Spirit of God-Christ had just entered into the room. So we seek after the Christ inside, we do not seek after the flesh outside.. |
What was Elizabeth’s first question to Mary? Not, “Did you come alone?” or “How did you get here?” but instead she asked, “Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” {Luke 1:43} People find this fascinating because Mary hadn’t even told Elizabeth she was pregnant yet! So Uben you ask-how did Elizabeth know? The Holy Spirit had revealed the prophetic news to Elizabeth and her baby, John, as Christ’s powerful presence entered the house. Like I said: God speaking through His Spirit, the Holy Spirit working together in both Mary and Elizabeth at the same time! Ubenedictus: |
{Luke 1} Uben: I suppose it's the way we read and understand our bibles that makes the difference, both Elizabeth and Mary were filled with the Holy Spirit, and when Mary entered into the house the babe filled with the Holy Spirit leaped for joy. We know-The Father is God. {Matthew 6:8, 7:21, Galatians 1:1} And we know-Jesus is God from the beginning {John 1: 1-18} And of course-The Holy Spirit is God {John 15:26, Mark 3:29, 1 Corinthians 6:19}. These three are One.. {Luke 1:13} But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. So through faith Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit to bare a son..And John was already filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. {Luke 1:34} And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. The Angel told Mary, 6 months after Elizabeth was pregnant, it was after 'Mary had rose and went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. The babe was filled with the Holy Spirit.. Ubenedictus:This doesn't mean Mary will always come supernaturally in the spirit after she had past-she is not God 'nor is she called to be our messenger from God. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? This is deafeningly God speaking through His Spirit, the Holy Spirit working together in both Mary and Elizabeth at the same time! Uben-when you are filled with the Holy Spirit the same Spirit in Mary that came to Elizabeth will come to you too-and you will leap for joy-Mary isn't just remembered by the Catholic Church, she is made into an image a tool to be worshipped-Mary's name is above every other name, either in heaven on earth or under the earth-the evident's still stands with you Uben-still fighting for your Queen? "Elizabeth's word's did not come from flesh and blood, but by the Word of God-"Worship God "Not" the image! These are Word's of encouragement, these are not word's to worship Mary, neither are they word's to recognise Mary as our mediator, nor is she our savour. All thank's is given to God, "He knew Mary from the beginning, He shaped Mary, Modded Mary, and prepared the virgin Mary to take this task. God knew, He made her to be true and faithful to Him! Through faith Elizabeth was chosen-shaped and modded for Him, through faith we are the chosen, shaped and modded for Him.. Ubenedictus: |
{Luke 11:27-28} As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You.” But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”… So according to this, my Mother and my brothers and sisters are those who walk with God, so Mary is not only my Mother, she is my sister too, in Christ.. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” "Mary is favourable-and she was a believer, but the question is, did she believe enough to teach her other siblings about Jesus and how He came into the world-did Joseph teach his siblings-how an Angel of the Lord woken him in a dream about Jesus. "James nor his brothers and sisters believed until after Jesus had risen. {John 7:5} For neither did His brothers believe in Him, "James did not grow up a believer.. It wasn’t until Jesus’ resurrection and His appearance to James and the disciples that James finally really understood who his half brother was. {Proverbs 22:6} God tells parents to train their Children, teach them wisdom and knowledge about God for the future.. {Matthew 12:47-50} Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven {by believing in Me, and following Me} is My brother and sister and mother. This shows if Mary was a believer just like the rest of us-then she shouldn't be put on high to be worshipped, and after reading the scriptures ''Jesus knew His brothers and sisters and Mother didn't come to Him because they believed-they come to Him thinking Jesus is insane. Let's not forget-Jesus wasn't welcome in His hometown..{Mark 3:21, Luke 4:24} Many Catholic's believe Mary didn't have other siblings,,,so if this is the case, then it's obvious someone had made a terrible mistake, in sharing the gospel. |

"The exclusive sovereignty of Christ clashed with Caesar's claims to his own exclusive sovereignty. The Roman empire practiced religious syncretism and did not demand loyalty to one god, but they did demand preeminent loyalty to the state, and this was expected to be demonstrated through the practices of the state religion with numerous feast and festival days throughout the year. The relations between the Catholic Church and the state have been constantly evolving with various forms of government, some of them controversial in retrospect. In its history it has had to deal with various concepts and systems of governance, from the Roman Empire to the medieval divine right of kings, from nineteenth- and twentieth-century concepts of democracy and pluralism to the appearance of left- and right-wing dictatorial regimes. Although the Second Vatican Council's decree Dignitatis humanae emphasized that people must not be coerced in matters of religion, it "leaves untouched traditional Catholic doctrine on the moral duty of men and societies toward the true religion and toward the one Church of Christ", i.e., that in an ideal society the Catholic Church would be recognized as the official religion of the state. Christianity emerged in the 1st century as one of many new religions in the Roman Empire. Early Christians were persecuted as early as 64 A.D. when Nero ordered large numbers of Christians executed in retaliation for the Great Fire of Rome. Christianity remained a growing, albeit, minority religion in the empire for several centuries. Roman persecutions of Christians climaxed with the Diocletianic Persecution at the turn of the 4th century. Following Constantine the Great's victory on Milvian Bridge, which he attributed to a Christian omen he saw in the sky, the Edict of Milan declared that the empire would no longer sanction persecution of Christians. Following Constantine's deathbed conversion in 337 all emperors adopted Christianity, except for Julian the Apostate who, during his brief reign, attempted unsuccessfully to re-instate paganism. In the Christian era (more properly the era of the First seven Ecumenical Councils) the Church came to accept it was the Emperor's duty to use secular power to enforce religious unity, anyone within the Church who did not subscribe to Catholic Christianity was seen as a threat to the dominance and purity of "the one true faith" and they saw it as their right to defend this by all means at their disposal. The Second Vatican Council taught further that “the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained” through the “Catholic Church alone.” Lest we forget, Rome has boasted that she never changes. That is—the principles of the Church’s goal of domination over personal liberty and its ultimate commitment to the eventual control of the State haven’t changed. The repudiation of every principle of the Constitutional founding of America is essential for this to occur. This has been the dream of the Progressive movement for more than 100 years, and I thank George Neumayr for exposing the current papal zeitgeist wafting across all lands, cultures, and religions. I suppose this was a good reason why the Pharisees rejected Jesus-they claimed the state and religious tradition.. The Pharisees hated John the Baptise-they crucified Jesus, and they murdered many of the Disciples, let alone their long prison sentences. If we were to look at all the different religions, had this changed" Muslims murdering Christians-Christians murdering Christians, and yet Pope Francis want's to reunite them into the Catholic Church-they tried that with Hitler and he continual'ed to murder the Jews, with full support from the Catholic Church, "as history states... Without even thinking about it, we need to return back to God, fear God, man may destroy the body-but God can destroy the body and soul, if all men repented and asked for forgiveness and returned back to God, then coming together in unity wouldn't be a problem.. We would be servicing the same God, we wouldn't need different cultures and religions, we wouldn't need man trying to reinforce leaders-to reinstate a traditional law-such as The Second Vatican Council taught further that “the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained” through the “Catholic Church alone.” {Galatians 2:16} know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. He separated us from religiosity, I for one-am not willing to return back under religious traditions-without testing the spirit that's behind it, if I was to bow down to worship-kiss the foot of an image made of wood or clay, than my heart I have for Christ is deceived. |
"No one had seen God at anytime, but it seems, someone had made a terrible mistake, they had rearranged {Exodus 20:4-5} turning it upside down, praying to creation, "Not the Creator. {John 20:29} Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Statue's are demonic, statue images of above are false god's, in most of the poorest countries around the world, what is affordable is statues of false god's, people have been taught' by praying to these statues, the image they recommend will protect them. "What is truth, we believers, don't need statue images of Mary nor the Saints to remind us that God exist-it's simple to ask Jesus into our lives, and receive His Holy Spirit, allowing the Lord to work through us-change us, and mode us for His Creation. {John 17:21} Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The bible had never told that we can or should pray to anyone else, including the special group of people who are labeled as “saints” by the Roman Catholic church. Nor does the Bible tell us Mary is our channel to pray through. Neither the saints nor Mary can intercede for us. Only Jesus Christ,, "Therefore, praying to them is pointless, since Jesus is the only mediator. {Revelation 19:10} The Angel said: Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! {1 Timothy 2:5-8} For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. The Bible tells us that we can pray to the Father {Matthew 6:9-15} and Jesus Christ {Acts 7:59-60} |
Images of Mary could only remind people she is the Mother of Jesus-that's all, it doesn't mean anything, the world knows Mary's story-they practice her given birth to Jesus every year. The point is-Mary can't save you-but Jesus is willing. Matter of fact it's paganism to bow down before any kind of image, above on earth or under the earth, people should try asking Jesus to be their Lord and savour-He is the God of the living-not of the dead. Jesus said: go into your secret place and pray to the Father in Heaven-He said: first seek the kingdom of God and all things shall be added to you. Praying to other resources other then the Father-would lead your prayers unfruitful. it would never be rightly answered, and what miracle you receive could only be worldly for a sort time. Mary was a virgin-until Jesus was born-together Mary and Joseph became parents-to-Jesus's half brothers and sisters. Despite the close proximity, the Gospels tell us that Jesus’ own brothers didn’t believe that he was the Son of God. After witnessing the large crowds who followed Jesus, {Mark 3:21} reports, “And when his family heard it, they went out to seize "Jesus", for they were saying, He is out of his mind.” Additionally, {John 7:5} admits, “For not even his brothers believed in him.” It’s hard to mistake what the Gospel authors report here. Jesus’ closest family members — James included — were skeptics. So if the Catholic's need a image of Mary to help them believe Jesus existed, then obviously skepticism in the Catholic Church is still practiced today-obviously many need Mary's image to remind them 'who Jesus is.. The truth is 'soul's are won in Jesus's Name-there's no other name above-on earth and under the earth-who has the power to raise us up. Mary is just an image-In Mary's name she can't save you, she can't raise you-and she can't give you life-she can't make choices for you-we didn't come to Jesus in Mary's name, only in Jesus's Name we are saved. |
OLAADEGBU:I suppose if we were to rely more on scripture instead of listening to someone who preaches another doctrine-not the same doctrine Paul preached, then I suppose it's time to refreshing yourselves back to the Word of God..{2 Corinthians 11:4} {1 Corinthians 9:18} But if we were to preach like Paul-we would preach the Word of God free of charge. {Matthew 6:26} The birds neither sow, nor do they reap, nor put into barns, and yet God feeds them, how much more are you.. solite3:{Galatians 3:5, 23-25} But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. If tithes really exist in this day and age, then the Church will still be under law, we would think the poverty rate in Africa would be nil, matter of fact the world. OLAADEGBU: |
Are you a pastor? Are you Preaching the tithing message? Our father in heaven Hallowed be your name, ''Your kingdom come, ''Your will be done, ''On earth as it is in heaven, ''Give us this day our daily bread, ""And forgive us our {Debts} As we forgive our {Debtors} And do not lead us into {Temptation}. Our debts and our debtors are forgiven-tithing didn't operate in America before 1873 before that no-one collected tithes-after {1873} the Word of Faith moment began, it doesn't matter where we fellowship, either it's-Religious or Pentecostal, how big or small your Church maybe, "Mammon had taken hold of your minds, you have joined the "Ban wagon teaching the other doctrine Paul had warned us about. While our countries are still poor, hungry, thirsty, cold and living in poverty at a dying rate. {2 Corinthians 11:4, 1 Corinthians 9:18 } For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you may put up with it. Paul also preaches the gospel free of Charge.. It is man’s choice whether to accept and believe the truth of Jesus Christ as presented in the Scriptures. To receive the truth and the love God offers is in keeping with its teachings, “This is love for God: to obey His commands” {1 John 5:3} Conversely, to know the truth and not obey it is to face the wrath of God: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” {Romans 1:18} Frankly speaking, there is no more dangerous condition for man than to know the truth and refuse to obey it. To do so is to harden the heart and make God’s condemnation sure. Paul said: What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge.. The collections were collected to feed the need, and if the Word of God is preached for free-then the land will surely be blessed-just as God said, {Malachi 3:10} "Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure. Satan tried to temp Jesus in the wild.. {Matthew 4} Then Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward he was hungry. Now when the tempter {The devil} came to him, he said: "if You are the son of God, command that these stones become bread" Jesus answered and said:" it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every {WORD} that proceeds from the mouth of God. Then the devil took Him up into the Holy city, set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said: to him, "If you are the son of God, throw yourself down, For it is written: He shall give His angels charge concerning you,' and "In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. "Jesus said: to him, "It is written again, "You shall not {Tempt} the Lord your God, again, the devil took him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and said: to him,"all these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me, "then Jesus said: to him, "Away with you Satan, ''for it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall {SERVE} Satan said: all these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me. {2 Thessalonians 2:10-12} Every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them, ''For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.… Don't be fooled, test everything, read your bible's-because the truth will set you free. God can not be tempted.... |
{1 Corinthians 9:18} Notice the attitude with which Paul presents his message here: He says that he had a need to preach the gospel, that "necessity is laid upon me." He is saying, "I've got to preach this. And if I don't, I'd better hide under a rock somewhere." His approach to preaching the gospel was that lightning could strike at any time if he stopped preaching it. Remember how Jesus started this apostle's ministry—by blinding him out in the middle of the road to Damascus! What Jesus did made quite an impression on him. Paul probably thought about that often—and about what would happen if he stopped doing the charge that had been laid upon him. So, a true minister feels a compulsion to preach the gospel. On the flipside, he feels a certain doom if he does not. He feels as though, if he tried anything else, he would be a fish out of water. In him would be an emptiness that was not being filled because the ministry of Jesus Christ is a calling. To a true minister of God, it is not just a job done for a paycheck, but a vocation that he feels compelled to do because the truth must be preached. The information cannot remain in his mind. Uncommunicated knowledge and understanding of God's way is absolutely useless to anybody else; it cannot help anybody take even one step along the road to the Kingdom of God. ''''This is why God gives ministers mouths to speak. Paul calls it "the foolishness of preaching" {I Corinthians 1:21, KJV} but God accomplishes a great deal through it. The serious, devoted servant of Jesus Christ must do it. He just must! It is almost like a man who has just walked out of the desert and has not had anything to eat or drink. He feels compelled, obviously, to find something to satisfy his need—particularly to drink. A true minister of God feels this way if he has not preached the truth in a long while. A "pressure" builds up after a time, and if it is not released, it explodes. The truth must be passed on because a compulsion from God Himself drives a true minister to speak the truth. This may be dramatizing it a bit, but there is a feeling in a true minister's gut to let other people know the truth that he has been given to preach. In a true minister of God, the truth will out, to borrow a line from Shakespeare. On the other hand, what does the minister get out of it? What does Paul say that he got from it? {In verse 18} he says that, when he preached the truth, other people were helped. He was able to preach the gospel in love, without charge. He did not need anything for it personally because he was driven from the inside—not the outside. Thus, it made him feel good—it relieved that God-sent pressure and gave him the satisfaction that he had done his job. |
As long as you are happy to bow down to the unknowing god-then allow it to be-Jehovah god is Watchtowers true name.. Janosky: |
Hell is also for a place for you too-we are all sinners-Jesus spoke about Hell just as much as He spoke about Heaven-but you don't believe in that either, just like you are denying the Word of God. asalimpo: |
Janosky:{Joel 2:32, Romans 10:13 ASV} And everyone who calls on the "Name" of the Lord will be saved. Janosky the scriptures tells us to call on the Lord-it doesn't say call upon the Father Jehovah, unless Jesus is Lord-the Father Jehovah! One name is called upon, not two names are called! "Jesus is the only way into heaven-but you don't believe in Heaven, so that wouldn't worry you"-the scripture gives us "One Lord and savour-not two Lords-Janosky thinks there is two gods to call upon? Janosky: |
Call out to Jehovah and nothing happens, call out to Jesus and you are saved. Janosky: |
Is the words I write--so true, it upsets you? Call out to Jesus-and He will save you-call out to Jehovah and nothing happens. Janosky: |
And when a JW is attacked by a demon-they call out Jehovah's name, and nothing happens.. johnw47: |
The JW's don't seem to have any understanding that concerns the Word of God, 'they don't seem to realise' reading and studying our Bible's, is like filling our belly's with food-it's full of encouragement for us, it helps us to understand how important we are to God and offering plain counsel on how we should live. {John 3:16, Zephaniah 3:17, 1 Peter 5:6–7, Psalm 86:15, Philippians 2:1–11, Colossians 3:17, 23} The Bible helps us understand and make sense of our relationships, our work, our school, and the like. When confronted with natural times of transition such as graduating from high school or college, changing jobs, or moving to a new community, we can have confidence that God cares and is attending to our needs. More importantly, we can have assurance that God draws near to us when we draw near to Him {James 4:8} The short answer to the question of what you should do after graduation is “draw near to God,” but it takes a little context for that advice to make sense. It is okay to not have all the answers. Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived {1 Kings 3:3–15; 4:30, 10:1–9}, raised many questions in the book of Ecclesiastes, answered most of them, and then offered a final conclusion about life. He said that all people should “fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind” {Ecclesiastes 12:13} To fear God is to have great reverence for Him. It is to approach Him like the King that He is {Ecclesiastes 5:1} but also to believe that He is a loving father {Luke 15} When we draw near to God through reading the Word and prayer, He reveals to us who He is and what He does; then we can understand what His will is for the world and for us. By drawing near to God we can learn what we should do next. Jesus invites us to understand what it means to trust Him. He says to us all, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” {Mathew 11:28–30} He wants us to come to Him. He knows we are tired and anxious. He knows well enough to give us what we need. He uses the imagery of a yoke, a large wooden harness that holds two animals side by side, to help us understand that He is with us. A yoke enables two animals, oxen or horses or cattle, to pull together in the same direction. It is normal to have an older and wiser animal paired with a younger, untested animal so that the older can carry the larger burden while teaching the younger how to succeed. This is how Jesus is with us. He makes our yoke light by pulling most of the weight Himself. Not only do we have this invitation to be with Jesus, but we also have been given freedom to live freely {Galatians 5:1, James 1:25} we have been given the mind of Christ to help us make decisions {1 Corinthians 2:16}, and we have been given the Holy Spirit to guide us and teach us {John 16:13} These provisions from God are intended to provide us with a knowledge of who He is and what He does and to guide us in how we can respond. If you want to know what you should do after graduation, consider the love of God revealed in His statements about who you are and who you are designed to be. You have been created by God with great care and wonder, all the days of your life are designed by God, and He thinks often and well of you {Psalm 139:13–18} You have the fingerprints of God all over you, having been created as His workmanship, designed to do good works {Ephesians 2:10} So go and do. You have been designed to do good works for God’s glory and to help other people. Consider this: Jesus and His adoptive earthly father were carpenters. Many followers of Jesus were fishermen. Others were tent makers, tax collectors, Roman soldiers, and Jewish leaders. There is no right profession, and, so long as it is not a question of morality, there is no wrong one. Thus, as you are considering what you might do after graduation—whether you should take this job or that one, move to a new city or stay in your home town, continue in school or start a small business—seek out the answer that positions you to best be able to love God by loving others. Practically speaking, take the following steps: first and most importantly, read the Bible and pray. Talk to God and receive His wise counsel. Draw near to Him. Second, seek the counsel of those who love God and love you. Their advice matters a great deal {Proverbs 15:22} Third, reflect on the past and make a list of the times you have been invited to serve others, maybe to lead a Bible study or help someone with his schoolwork, or to be the captain of a sports team, sing at a wedding, or write for a blog. This will help you to learn what other people believe you are good at. Fourth, make a list of whom you love to love. Do you cry when you see a homeless man? Do you want to save high school students from peer pressure? Do you wish it were possible that ladies in nursing homes never felt lonely? These and similar questions about God and other people will help you discover that it is not necessarily about what you should do, but rather whom you could serve. Somewhere in there is the beginning of the road you are seeking. What should you do with your life after you graduate? Live your life before God with great reverence for who He is and what He does, and then go and love others. Give yourself permission to make mistakes, trusting that God works all things for the good of those who love Him, those who are called by Him {Romans 8:28} And, whatever you do, be reminded of this: “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain” {Psalm 127:1} |
Janosky:{John 14:9} "Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. Like I had said: you should be looking for all truth-read your bible "Man" and stop wasting my time! You can argue as much as you like-against us bible believing Christians, we come up against lukewarm believers like you all the time. What' is important to us' is the Word of God-that comes with Power and the Holy Spirit, nothing else matters-and if you are not speaking His Word, then you are not hearing "His Word" by reading ''His Word'' to fully believe ''His Word. Janosky:So one would think, if you had believed the above hole heartened' why the arguments, but you don't believe all scriptures are true--'as proven-your claims as a believer "in total is lukewarm-no truth 'truly'' dwells in you". {John 1:1} In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. {John 1:14} "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. {John 14:9} Anyone who has seen "Me" has seen the "Father. {2 Corinthians 11:4} Again-you come to us preaching another Jesus and you had brought to us 'another spirit, bringing with you another gospel.. Janosky: |
You should be looking for what is truth-of course it doesn't matter to you, what really matters-we have the bible written down in front of us, and everything that's written is truth. You can argue as much as you like-against us bible believing Christians, because we don't listen to you anyway. What' is important to us' is the Word of God-nothing else matters-and if you are not speaking His Word, then you are not hearing His Word either-to know all truth.. So what is the bottom line? {2 Corinthians 11:4} "The fact is-we are not hearing you, ''because we don't know you-you had come to us preaching another Jesus and you had brought to us 'another spirit, bringing with you another gospel.. one would have thought that by now you would have repented and stop preaching this fraudulent doctrine but alas your love for filthy lucre and devotion to your mamon god would not let you. At least on the last day you can't claim you weren't taught the truth.
