The owner of the video is a Muslim and ought to know what's good or bad about his religion. Is Davido even in the video? Now, I am tempted to go download or watch the video cos of this matter. Before now, I thought the most sacred thing that shouldn't be tampered with in Islam is the Holy Quran, next thing we will hear is a school boy who is not a Muslim is beheaded for mistakenly using a kettle belonging to a Muslim student to wash his face. The whole point of contract staff is to reduce costs.

I believe the contract staff are not demanding for equal pay with the full staff, their agitation is for a raise in salary to meet up with the current economic situation. Why increase the pay of full staff and leave out the contract staff in this hard time? If they don't need their service anymore, they should do the needful and sack them instead of making them feel less valued.

Everything is wrong with Nigeria, the rich will always find a way to differentiate between them and the less privileged. They came up with this nonsense idea of employing underage graduates to give their children who graduated from private universities at a very young age an edge over commoners who went to State and Federal universities, graduating at age which above bank requirements. If not, which one is contract staff and full staff when they are all doing same jobs? Most of the fresh graduate employed in the name of full staff are trained by the so called contract staff, yet the management will not let the contract staff grow in their career, no benefit, nothing else other than their meagre salary and no regulatory body deem it good to interfere to correct this anomaly.

What's your point exactly? if a school pays its teachers about 300k and above and charges school fees of 1.2-1.5m a term, are you expecting them to make school fees free for teachers wards or what? Most schools give their teachers discount on school fees. It's left for the teachers to decide if they can pay the fees after being given discount on the fees.

One of d thing d body needs to do is to look at d meager salary ,cos ever since I av known about private school teaching job, an average private school salary offer is always in d range of 18-25k ….dt salary is too poor abeg .maybe d govt shld enact a law dt will force all private schools employer not to give any teacher a salary below 45k(hoping Dey increase d minimum wage too)

The bolded is for only mushroom private schools in the outskirts of big cities and small cities. There are teachers who earn far more than most government agencies staff, bankers and co. Google Aduvie, Springhall and other top schools in Abuja, Lagos and PH. If you see their teachers, you won't know they are teachers. If you must teach, upgrade your skills to 21st century teaching standard, re-arrange your CV and apply for big schools teaching jobs and prove what you are made of during interview and see if you won't be earning 7 digits as salary.
