Amujale:I learn fast. Can I pick Mandarin up when I get there? |

babaearly1:Did someone say 'swamp'? |
I want to go to study Electronics in Shenzhen but only know it as a place on a map. Anyone here to educate me please, what's it like in China? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcrfk6OoZIw |
ochibuogwu5:You never know what God has in store. |
So, you made it past wasc, jamb, utme neco and other hoops you had to jump through and have arrived at uni or other higher institution, so hip hip hurrah to you and luck to those still seeking admission How's it going so far? What you studying? Still love it and being away from home with annoying coursemates and stinky hostels? Tell us so we know how to get there someday and schoolfees will multiply inside your head. Is uni as you expected it to be? |
LordReed:Does Tyler Deaton remind you of anyone? |
content208:I should be wailing like you that bubu rules your life despite repeatedly telling you that only lazy fuqs let bubu rule their life? You are funny! |
content208:Aba! Did I tell you that a vote for bubu is not a vote for hardship? You know bubu is slow now. Senate Hit You With 7.5% Hike In VAT, 6 Other Taxes. bubu hardship has only just begun! |
LabDNA:They are tightening on everyone, people too, with vat. Please everyone, be warned. This is 4+4. Next Level is the removal of fuel subsidy. You will not like it because of the increase in cost but its removal is to free up the market. The hope is more profit seekers will enter the market when price increases, including refiners, and competition will drop price. Besides, Dangote's needs prices to rise so his refinery can cover cost and make profit. And Nigeria certainly needs more energy and we must know by now that no government will give it us free! While many would think going on the streets to protest might be the right reaction, I'm hoping we are smarter. This same Senate passed the 30k minimum wage. If they can impose fuel subsidy removal, we should make them impose our 30k. And it's little! Less than $200 a month that japad will earn in a week if not a day or two in US! We are worth more, especially if government intends to claw back 7.5% of it! And demand is simple since we can just go silently sit outside the Senate with placards demanding it. Very unNigerian, I know, as we tend to prefer to be hooligans and aluta. But I'm suggesting we be smarter and use the existing institutions to our advantage. If you think Nigeria was a tough place to make a living, the peeps are about to squeak. The removal of fuel subsidy will negatively impact many. Travel cost will rise along with food prices and government reduced your Naira by 7.5% vat while rampant inflation steals another 15. Effectively, every naira you spend is only worth 80kobo or so, but the seller is not stupid and would charge more so they don't lose out. Expect your ₦100 bread and everything else to double in price and half in size courtesy of my bubu! Can someone find me how much fuel a Nigerian is said to use a day compared with other people in other nations? I'd also love to know how we compare on electricity. I just have the feeling that I might not go very far on fumes. |

content208:Then I can't say I understand why you are offended. You can't after all say there aren't quite a lot of lazy fuqs in Nigeria, or can you? |
MrBrownJay1:I dont believe this! Perhaps because my own experience is different. One day, a young man, caught by his uncle stealing kolanut in a farm, ran away from town. 20 years later, having landed with an oil dealer who showed him the ropes he returned to the village and built a petrol station and on opening day said, "I built this petrol station for my uncle who threatened to report me to my father when I stole kolanut in his farm. If he had not threatened me I might not gave changed my ways, so, thank you", and he gave the uncle the keys to the petrol station. I'm sure many people repent and sin no more. |
No human organization, business or venture is devoid of one problem or the other. But as dynamic human beings in a dynamic world, these problems changes from time to time depending on the variables and organization involved. This is precisely the reason whay we should consider change. NYSC was created "to encourage Nigerian Youth to actively participate in national integration and development, rather than The problem NYSC was designed to combat is dynamic but NYSC itself has been stagnant. Its time for a dynamic rethink, I think. |
misterjosh:Be patient. We haven't yet begun. When his immunity lapses we will make him the show of the decade. |

content208:Yet, here is me telling you to be responsible for yourself and stop being a lazy fuq. bu bu bu bu be sure of whatever you want. |
MorataFC:I think they are trying to ditch the "low", but time will tell.

content208:Call me whatever pleases you. Lazy fuqs starve! |
A twenty-year-old lady identified as Fortune has narrated how her father molested her for years. Fortune told the police that her father started having sex with her when she was 13 years old and made sex compulsory before payment of school fees. The report has however led to the arrest of her father, Apostle Williams Okon Bassey who operates as the Presiding Pastor of Mount Zion Light House Full Gospel Church, Obio Imo Lane, Uyo. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Odiko MacDon, who confirmed the report said that six others, including another pastor, were arrested for alleged incest and defilement. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2019/11/18/sex-before-school-fees-lady-narrates-ordeal-in-her-fathers-hands/
