seunmohmoh:They will give you degree in aluta ![]() |
OLAADEGBU:So, the Jesus, who's Words from the Bible I quote, is mystic, to you?
|
It will leave when we stand up against it and we can start, or rather, take the next step since the first was reading it, by sharing it. Just the quality of the investigative work alone is commendable! And we really are a reckonable force!

naptu2:I'm amazed no one has branded beer Umqombothi!
|
orisa37:See how He was able to overcome? I think he read it times 3! |
Maximus69:Thankfully, we all remain human beings, neighbours to one another and enemies too, meeting everyday to debate the existence of the Lord God Almighty in post after post on thread after thread inculcating the Lord God in hearts. Max, you too Olaadegbu? |
OLAADEGBU:Indeed, out of the abundance of the heart are the fruits produced. So, why don't you yourself answer the question Olaa, how can buda, speak good things? Or are you saying "buda is evil"? |
OLAADEGBU:Do I need to come and bow to you so you know who my personal saviour is? Do you need to see my certificate of repentance? Are you the Lord God Almighty Olaa? |
OLAADEGBU:So says Olaa. The decider of the Jesus buda knows. |
dalass:Yes. After kicking my brother for aluta and gunned down in the first place since our parents taught us better ways to get what we want! |
youngsahito:Pregnant Serena Williams bares all on the cover of Vanity Fair |
OLAADEGBU:And, in your own opinion, I don't? |
But don't hold me to it!

Michellekabod2:Hello Michelle. I believe this is the first you and I would engage in conversation. You are welcome. First. To do with your "same Bible that says". I got five in my living room and none of them have ever said anything to me. So, unless your Bible says to you, shall we imply you mean, "it is written in the Bible and you have read it there"? I cringe at the anthropomorphization of a book. Next is its deification! One reads in the Bible that one should not steal too but people still do. Eve, even, we read, disobeyed God and ate the Fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, so what's your point? Can't one disobey the bits one disagrees with in a book? And why is your own understanding of an almost 2000 year old text written for its time, today, "woman should not speak in church"? Can you not evolve? |
wickedtuna:It makes me shame and humble and enlightened.

Michellekabod2:I have not, to the best of my knowledge, claimed to be or practise Christianity, and I definitely do not believe, but even if I did, I not see how "the two are like a mixture of oil and water". Christianity teaches "love your neighbours and your enemies even more", and nowhere asks you to love according to gender, religion, race, age, beliefs, etc. In fact, the more one inclines to enemise, the more burden placed on one to love. See this thread where Martinez39 insisted, for a while, that I could not be a Muslim Feminist. |
EkunKekere:So, in your own opinion, the looting of the Shagari regime had nothing to do with this your Buhari's recession?
|
vastolord4:It's not as if Kwara paid salary when they were collecting it. Where were you when it was being stolen? |

The Biblical authors repeatedly encouraged their readers to search the evidence to investigate the claims of Christianity (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 and 1 John 4:1) so they could be convinced of the truth of these claims (Romans 14:5, 2 Timothy 1:8-12 and 2 Timothy 3:14). This encouragement is consistent with the notion that the evidence will lead us to a rational conclusion about the nature of Jesus. In fact, Jesus also encouraged his followers to consider the evidence he provided about his deity (John 14:11 and Acts 1:2-3). Christian faith is not blind. Instead, the Christian faith encourages investigation related to Jesus and to the world around us. Christians ought to understand the distinctions between unreasonable, blind and reasonable faith: Unreasonable Faith Believing in something IN SPITE of the evidence. We hold an unreasonable faith when we refuse to accept or acknowledge evidence that exists, is easily accessible and clearly refutes what we believe Blind Faith Believing in something WITHOUT any evidence. We hold a blind faith when we accept something even though there is no evidence to support our beliefs. We don’t search for ANY evidence that either supports or refutes what we are determined to believe Reasonable Faith Believing in something BECAUSE of the evidence. We hold a reasonable faith when we believe in something because it is the most reasonable conclusion from the evidence that exists. The Bible repeatedly makes evidential claims. It offers eyewitness accounts of historical events that can be verified archeologically, prophetically and even scientifically. We, as Christians are called to hold a REASONABLE FAITH that is grounded in this evidence. https://coldcasechristianity.com/writings/christianity-promotes-rational-and-evidential-exploration/ |
Michellekabod2:It does? I better go say about everything then least my "silence means consent". Will you pay me Michelle, because it's bound to take a lot of my time? |
Federal Government last month said, a committee has been put in place to facilitate recovery of N614 billion given to 35 states. 35 states benefited from the facility, and each state is expected to pay back the equivalent of N17.5 billion. This is bound to force some states into austerity, but I say, you better speak up next time your governor is doing Okorocha because after he's done okorochaing, you will pay back whatever he okorochaded away!

shadeyinka:Read your own answer again Shade. You said, "Every "Christian" can cast out a demon BUT not every Christian know how to cast out a demon from a human being nor have the necessary faith." Essentially meaning, "Christians who do not know how to cast out demons cannot cast out demons." Which is true. Now consider the atheist's position, to whom a Christian says the demon is in but who fails to cast it out. Does that not prove the Christian is one of those who does not "know how to cast out a demon from a human being nor have the necessary faith", and who themselves should be seeking the favour of the Lord instead of selling that which even they themselves have no faith in? Personally, I am not surprised at the failure of those who presume that they themselves are the "programmer" and the "owner". The truth is some lack the ability to programme or own themselves. |
Michellekabod2:You might want to show where I "ignore or find excuses for piggish women", but while you are searching, no, I do not believe "only women are being shackled by stereotypes". I am Nigerian, "shackled by stereotypes" wherever we are, but you should not expect me to fight for the unshackling of others when I have not unshackled myself. If men feel shackled let them become masculinists and fight their own battle or join us feminists and fight for equality. And note. I do not argue. I discuss. Except where pigs are concerned, of course. |
|
It pleases me to see you two meet for I am certain the Spirit of God is within both of you. |
Michellekabod2:Wobish! Slaves do not champion freedom of paid servants when the chains are around their own necks! |
OLAADEGBU:Explain the difference to us. |
"For inasmuch as ye have done for those here whom ye see!" Though I'm sure it would be odd if I say, love one another. |
shadeyinka:My Lord reads every word I write. See the amazing question he asked. LordReed: |
