By the date 1BC-1AD, Europe had had years of studying Plato's Socrates denying the existence of the gods and corrupting the youths and had centuries before that abandoned the gods of Homer finding them absurd and ridiculous and had learnt how to make gods in Egypt so the arrival of a new book about a new god the first god suitable for mass believing was monumental. Like all good books, it had a main character to sell it. But many would agree that it couldn't possibly have been that fickle Yahweh with its lack of control of its anger and wrath and it's quickness to destroy so the more gentle and meek Jesus was born on to the end to market and sell it and it amazingly still works today. Now, while the above might somewhat explain the OLAADEview and is one I might use if there were ever the need to since it sells, what an oopsy the alternative view Before Julius Caesar might be.

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Being an unbeliever is a positively good thing. It is much better that one knows. And it's not true that Buddha said neither, note.

TsbAfrica:It is not true "the most "religious" people are the poor people", though I'd like to see what you mean by ""most religious". Is the pope "most religious"? How about the Bishop of Canterbury? If so, they head institutions that are amongst the largest land owners in the world so I doubt they are poor. How about Oyakhilome, is he "most religious? Wealthy too, as is Adeboye. One supposedly "most religious" is even creflo dollar. You see, if I give you a hammer and you use it to whack your hand, would you blame the hammer or your hand? Same with religion. You either believe and tremble or understand and be as the gods.
TsbAfrica:No, I don't want to feel intellectually superior to anyone. I just want to debunk your rubbish! Your point is that Christianity is "the reason why poverty in all it's forms and religion are inseparable", and that is a lie. Every day we read on here about Nigerians who want to japa due to poverty in Nigeria. And where exactly are they going? To those same Christian countries that brought you religion and the English you communicate with but you don't see how that has enhanced your life and empowered you in the global world you live in today. For your information, Christianity was forced on the ancient inhabitants of Britain, and for over a thousand years they too merely believed it like most Nigerians do today until their eyes finally opened and they learnt to write their own and now they are not poor.
TsbAfrica:It's obvious you never read the book. It's big! |
TenQ:I seriously can not believe that you expect us to entertain your If true-QED logic. Read please so you know and understand what we are seeing and hearing.

TsbAfrica:Resourceful?
Honchoslim16:A race of naked ignorant slaves in a garden of Eden where they tended the tree of the fruit of knowledge which only the Gods ate.
TsbAfrica:See reasoning. You forget that in bringing you Christianity, "the people who brought Christianity" brought you a book and they taught you to read it, and now have so controlled your mind that you use the words that they taught you to freely express what is on your mind, "Hence the reason why poverty in all it's forms and religion are inseparable". Try harder, dude. I have faith that you can.
Kennitrust:I'm sure you heard of manna too and are expecting your's from heaven. Kenni, your question should not be "signify the coming of Christ". You should start with, "Who is Christ", and when you grow small, "What is Christ"?

I have created a thread for us to find the open sesame to the door that leads to the door that UK opened.
You are here because you know that UK Opens Door For Nigerian Teachers but you still need to find a key to the doors that lead to that door or support others who want to before you can walk through the door yourself. These are some initial keys to try. Getting in to teaching in UK https://www.ucas.com/teaching-in-england https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/non-uk-teachers/train-to-teach-in-england-as-an-international-student https://apply-for-qts-in-england.education.gov.uk/eligibility/start Contributions and feedback will show the path to the door.

Jeffy1206:There was me seeking an advocate, instead a judge finds me. |
There was a something called "past". We all saw it because past had completely gone through the process of fulfilling its potential and arrived at being the Perfect Ideal Past, or at least the only past that was visible to us all and that we all saw. Then something - say, time, interacted with that past such that now is no more the past that was. Now is an imperfect form of that past that was. A lesser form of the past that used to be. Now is a non-past of that past that was because that past has begun to fulfil its potential to become visible in the ideal form of what the non-past has the potential to become. When that non-past has completely gone through the process of fulfilling its potential, that something will become visible in the perfect ideal form of the future that it had the potential to become.
