CheapHomes1:Answer the question above please. It's in bold so you can't miss it. thebosstrevor1: |
Freeze007:This is not what I read in my own book. God was not written to have been created from mud like Adam was! But if that's what you read in your's, so be it to you. Do go and check the duty Adam was given though, to tend a garden, which is clearly not the duty given to the image of God's creation, which was, rule over the earth and the sea and dominate and subdue and be blessed. And neither was their pay the same pay - all the fruit bearing trees for one, and not some trees for the other. Freeze007:Are you suggesting Adam was predestined to live as an Ignorant slave in the garden of Eden? If so, thankfully, Eve objected and freed him. Freeze007:Really? Then, use her own senses Eve must be Perfection Plus for using her senses. And the creation in the image of God must be Perfection Plus Plus. I sure know which I would rather be. Freeze007:Really? You just have faith, and money that is not in your pocket appears because you have faith? Me, I have to get off my faithless ass and work with the sweat of my brow and then at the end of the month money appears in my bank account from which I then use my ATM to transfer some of it into my pocket which I will then see in my pocket when I check my pocket. But I guess that's because my God that requires me to work for the money in my pocket must not be as powerful as your God that puts money in your pocket because you have faith. You very faithful freeze! Freeze007:Freeze, what you are asking of buda is that buda abandon all the intelligence you claim buda has and become ignorant and enslaved in the Garden of Eden where buda's head can be filled with what your head is filled with. To which buda's response is, "I would rather go and swim in nuclear waste". And to which I add, if buda does what you suggest, I will take that buda to the bottom of a river and bash that buda's head against a rock and drown that buda in nuclear waste and cut that buda into tiny bits and feed that dead buda to the fish! Though I might not do that last bit so as not to poison the poor fish. Thou shalt not tempt buda with ignorance, freeze, for you shall not succeed! |
GLouis:I see you got your free data back after like 3 days, lol. You are not the Nigerian community and I don't have to tell you anything. You are just one insignificant individual whom I want nothing from. It would please me if you learnt to use you brain for your own good though, as I don't like stupid ignorant people needlessly mentioning me. But you don't have to learn, note. |
thebosstrevor1:The Sec filing states the intent to delist. It does not have to mention all those who retain a holding interest in a private company, which I have listed for you. I see I'm not the only one too, but I guess you will insist. CheapHomes1: |
I can accept that the first coup in the Bible was Eve eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but trust pigs to insert a serpent into the narrative instead of admitting Eve used her own senses. If I were enslaved in the Garden of Eden, I too would use my senses and coup instead of submitting like stupid Adam to a lie without checking if it were true. For he ate, eventually, and obviously did not surely die.
|
Kingpee2:Only blind stupid slaves are from Adam. Some are from use her senses Eve, and some are in the Image of the Gods. You can tell which is which by observing those who don't eat fruits of knowledge for fear it would surely kill them; and those who would pluck fruits of knowledge and eat to check if it would surely kill them; and those who rule over and subdue and dominate and are blessed, but first your eyes must open for you to observe and see. jclassiq:We both know you say so because you haven't found one. What you don't know or want to admit is, you haven't found one because they can't be found by the likes of some. Looky, note you ignored our mother.

kkins25:Is twitter food that I must pay $8 a month or die of hunger? Ordinary YouTube that is like school, I use Brave to get around the intruding adverts (and shout out to Basilico I must too, and anyone who knows me knows that's a name I gag to mention), And Elon thinks he can musk me for $8 a month for a blue tick, lol. I get it. If I had ₦44b to detoxify Nairaland I guess I wouldn't mind, not to talk of $44b to buy freespeech on twitter, but not everyone is willing to put their money where they put their foot (shout out to b.... again). |
thebosstrevor1:No he doesn't! He owns 27/44 of it. Check the funding please. Larry Ellison, the Oracle co-founder owns some. Former Twitter Chief Executive Jack Dorsey owns some. A group of banks, including Morgan Stanley and Bank of America own some through loans. Billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and his Kingdom Holding Company owns some. Cryptocurrency exchange Binance owns some. I can't tell you how much they own though, as its now privately owned by them and they don't have to disclose. https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/how-will-elon-musk-pay-twitter-2022-10-07/ |
membranus:Lol. I don't think we Nairaland users are as powerful as Twitter users, to start. And Nairaland is not governed by the laws in various countries like Twitter is. And Twitter owner likely cares more about his Twitter than Nairaland owner cares about his Nairaland, I think, and has a lot more sense to boot. We make Nairaland what it is in the end. And I'm sorry to say, but we do behave like Nigerian tenants in a Nigerian rented house we care less for while refusing to pay the rent or clean the yard. If we don't want Nairaland to be toxic we must learn to police ourselves. So next time you see toxic, report it, but first don't be toxic yourself. I mean, myself. |
thebosstrevor1:27 billion dollars worth out of 44, which is over half, but not all. If those who own the rest of it aren't happy how he runs it they might gang up on him or pull out so he owns it all. And I doubt he'd find it easy "to manipulate people and to control narratives" if he's the only one on it especially after advertiser's who pay the bills pull out and leave him to it. We woke liberal folk sure would pull out in droves, because, contrary to somes opinion, we don't like being controlled and manipulated. Then he can manipulate the Q folks a la Alex Jones, I suppose, and pay for the privilege. It's a business after all, is my point. And he is accountable to investors and its users, so we'll see. |
Just finished Season One, and something's missing is what I think. For starts, I doubt it would have caught as many eyes if it weren't for GoT. Not as good, and I feel they rushed a lot of it. I found it hard to buy in to the characters like I did with those in GoT, whom one pretty much bought into from the start - who wouldn't love Arya with her tin helmet after all. And just as I was getting in to Rhaenera they subbed her in season 6. And those bloody dark scenes! Might be my Samsung Qled or I was distracted, but couldn't they light it up some for Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone and Stranger's sake! I'll call season one, a prologue, and hope. Like a book that starts slow and hots up. And considering Martin writes big books, there's bound to be doldrums I suppose. I'd say, meh, but I guess I'd be just bitching cos I got to wait now for season 2 which I never did with GoT, having summoned the patience not to watch till they'd done them all. The ending was a cliffhanger, so there is hope. Please do tell when season 2 starts and ends, you very good folks. And remember, I'm just bitching, cos it's a lot better than all I've said above. |
LordReed:He'll be forced to step back, I reckon, if he doesn't step back himself. Especially now advertisers are finding twitter to be toxic. He'll get done to him what was done when he ran PayPal if he doesn't, unless he sinks more of own money into it. $27bn in cash so far. |

CoolUsername:You keep misreading what you want to read into what is written. I'm sure when all the facts are out you'd still be here like that fool who still sees bamboo in his kraken. Below is a link to the USA Today that you took a snapshot from while conveniently leaving out the rest. https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/11/04/paul-pelosi-attack-details/8258324001/ And here's a link to the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/oct/30/paul-pelosi-attack-called-911-from-bathroom |
CoolUsername:What you describe here is not what is reported, and nor have you provided any source for what you claim so it can be seen! Perhaps read credible news sources without mixing in your preferred conspiracies, or better still, wait for the whole facts to be made available to you in court. |
sonmvayina:They were arguing about the interpretation they would give to the Gospels that already existed! And what came out of it was the Nicene Creed, and not a rewrite of the Gospels that already existed! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicene_Creed |
sonmvayina:This means absolutely nothing! The Gospels existed before Nicea is a fact, so could not have been written after. They may have been edited at or after Nicea, but the core of the text existed as evidence clearly shows. But if you wish to believe otherwise without providing evidence, be very welcome please. |
CoolUsername:If NBC's report were valid, I'm sure they have enough money to fight anyone that wants to squash their report. But I guess it's impossible for you to accept they are the powers that be that squashed their own report themselves because in their very own words, "it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.”
|
CoolUsername:You can't see any shenanigans taking place here neither, and that's why you have resorted to making some up to believe while completely ignoring whatever evidence is there to be seen. It's why you don't know what to tell me since you know I'd ask for evidence which you have not got. |
Looky:I'd show you my mother but I doubt you can see her, so may we start with your mother, and sisters if you have any? Are they as you have described? |
sonmvayina:Are you suggesting there was no Gospel before Nicea? You're welcome to that belief if so. Evidence does not support it though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_in_the_ante-Nicene_period

Don't worry. You will grow out of your boarding school logic one day and become a full grown adult.

What's sad and what most men don't want to confront is if you men were more responsible women would abort less. But you choose to be irresponsible and shamelessly want the woman to responsible for your irresponsibility. Be responsible and have the discussion before you take you pants off and stick your diq in her after you've put a rubber on if you both don't want to abort. But if you can't be bothered, the choice is the woman's alone.
