I wonder if you'd get that UK has never been normal if I just said Thatcher 1990, Theresa 2017, and David Cameron 2016.

If UK was normal as it is used to be, Boris will still be the PM
No, Danny, I do not expect them to tell me, since I have eyes to see for myself.

Boris was forced out by his own party because they were facing difficulties campaigning on the doorsteps. What many raised at the last 2 by-elections was Boris' lies and sleaze, and not inflation.

Now, this is the first person I'm hearing left his party to become Obidient.

More will hopefully follow as we get closer to election.

Actually, scrap that last bit!

More of us will make them become obidient since the power is really ours.

They should keep selling their future for 5kg of rice and 5k. That's the only way apc knows how to win elections. For a tribe that is supposed to be most educated, these things shouldn't even happen in the first place
They will be here, after collecting their rice and voting for who gave it them, lamenting how the rice finished and they are now starving.

I swear, I will carry my pounded yam with ewuro and fresh fish out into the front of my house where they can see me eating it without sharing any with them.

They alway come when they hear the pounding.

That's why they lie to you so much. It's so they can steal your money by selling you more lies.

Everyone knows large amounts of dollar purchases have been digital for years. If you take cash to a car salesperson you'll be reported to the police for laundering money, and there's no way you'd carry millions around in physical dollars unless you don't mind losing it to a scammers, even in Nigeria.

Sincerely speaking if I'm Peter Obi I'll follow suit cuz what on earth would Obi gain if he's embarrassed at the poll next year?? he couldn't even win massively in all the states in his region 2019 and same thing would happen 2023. as the biggest fan of Obi atm, I'll be the only one to tell him the bitter truth. Sir, now is not the best time to contest. carefully and sincerely back off the presidential race.
Buhari was "embarrassed at the poll" more than once, yet many are here lamenting his 8 years in power.

There are people like you who fall off a bike and never learn to ride again, while some get back on the bike they fall off again and again till they learn to ride it properly.

First they give you a problem called starvation by not paying wages. Then they give you rice to save you from the starvation they caused you, and you vote for them because you see them as your messiahs.

What a beautiful strategy to delude the gullible that is. Thankfully many are becoming Obidient to their act.

So, your grandfather left Islam because the Akwụkwọ Nsọ that he given was in Yoruba language?

Budaatum, as much as it will sadden you to hear, I am righteous.
Pity that your so called righteous does not improve your ability to read.

It was the Bibeli Mimo that was in Yoruba. The Qur'an was in Arabic.

It means, therefore, budaatum, that your great-grandfather - even with the book presented to him, according to you - never actually left the religion/beliefs/practices of his own ancestors. Don't you agree? I need to know what you think.

It also means that your grandfather never left the ways/practices/religion/beliefs of the ancestors of his own father. Don't you agree? This is what I have been saying all along.

Remember, budaatum, you were the one who made this about you great-grandfather, grandfather and father. We are only using that as a case in point.
I don't mind using my own forebears as a case in point, elated. As I wrote if you could bother to read, my great-grandfather left Ifa for Islam because they had a book with words in it that impressed him so much that he encouraged his own children to learn to read. Then thankfully, a book in his own language arrived so he abandoned the Qur'an for Bibeli Mimo and sent his grandchildren to Saint John's Anglican Primary School.

His grandchild, my father then read and found that humans who live by bread alone would become malnourished, so he read more books, and when he could not find enough to read where he was he migrated to where there are libraries in every borough with lots of books to borrow and read. And now there is me. A reader of books instead of a worshipper of books.

Only children and fools read books without using their minds to analyse and critique what they read. Smart people will ask and knock and seek for understanding instead. That's what Jesus did instead of merely believing the ignorant Pharisees who thought they too like you were righteous, and to whom he is written to have said give serpents instead of bread and "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to".

We did not believe politicians would give us steady electricity in 1980, meobizy. In 1980, a certain Shehu Shagari was president, and if you think Jonathan's time was bad as far as looting went, you did not live then, because that was one of the worst times for ghanamustgo looting and hiding it in shalangas, well, perhaps bar Abacha and Babangida, but fact is they were far too busy looting to be spending any on electricity, and besides, your children, the ones I have faith you are going to educate very well, and who will hopefully not be politicians but competent skilled individuals, are the ones I have faith in.

Actually, Adam died within a day. A day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day according to scriptures. Adam did not live up to a day (1000 years) so he died the same day he ate the fruit.
Sorry Bloomingdale, but that wuruwuru reasoning does not work with buda. There is no scripture that will tell me black is white and I'd accept it since I have eyes and a brain and a mind and know someone wrote it.

After Adam was supposed to have surely died, he is written to have gone on to bear children, so he could not possibly have died on eating the fruit and then go on to procreate. And besides, we can clearly read for ourselves with our own eyes when he is written to have died. But if you wish to insist, perhaps open a thread for us to discuss what we read and what words mean, because if I owe you money and say I will pay you in a day you would object if I said a day meant a 1000 days whatever scripture I produce to justify it.

Exactly, budaatum, you have said it yourself. Your grandfather never accepted what the Scriptures given to him taught.
Depends what you mean by taught, elated.

It never mattered to my own ancestors whether God created the heaven and earth or if Obatala done it or if an individual called Jesus Christ died or lived after dying. They knew thou shalt not steal etc and that manna would not fall into the mouth of those lazily crying for it from heaven long before anyone came with a book to supposedly teach it them as if they knew nothing at all beforehand.

As I said, my ancestors are not your ancestors and while your's might have "accepted" what you seem to have accepted I'm sure you can tell the difference between us. All the same, I would kill buda first before allowing buda to be like elated.
