23 years dedicated to a cause. I bow! |
Dtruthspeaker:You avoid those who show you you talk nonsense, dt, but we shall not avoid you because we would not want you leading others astray with your nonsense. |
Dtruthspeaker:Talking nonsense is not allowed, dt, though you are free to talk as much nonsense as pleases you, but that's why you are challenged whenever you talk nonsense and are heard, because there will always be people to challenge your nonsense. |
Dtruthspeaker:There is no law of free speech that claims arguments must be valid, dt. People open their mouth and freely say whatever they want, valid or not, as you freely do here, and if there were a law you'd be against the law for talking nonsense. |
Dtruthspeaker:Please show us where you are being taught the nonsense you are being taught in your Nigerian primary and secondary school, because its probably in the same Nigerian primary and secondary school where you learnt that fractions were useless and is why we are reeducating you here. |

Dtruthspeaker:What you claim social studies says in your text books is not what I'm finding in my own text books, dt. See "person" and "individual" in the basic definitions of 'social unit' below. Are you sure your text books are the right ones you should be learning from?
|
kkins25:I'm a read the book sort of person, kk. I don't do well with interpretations by filmmakers standing on a filmatic pulpit preaching a book to me when I can pick the book up and read it myself. They might add to the book or put their spin on it. I read the book 3 times when I was 7-10. We had no light and there probably wasn't a film then. I read it again twice between 11-13, and it felt like I'd never read it before. Taught me how blind me thought I could see and why I should open my eyes and use my own senses. |
Dtruthspeaker:My previous was not so much to disagree about which is the smallest unit, just that society and its smallest unit are not the same thing, just as an individual person in a crowd is not the crowd. Besides, definitions of Society include the individual, you would find, which, since being smaller than family, is its smallest unit. My question, if I were to bother, would be, where did you learn the above from, that in "social studies it is said that the family is the smallest unit of the society"? |
sonmvayina:My creators, if you don't mind, them being the mama and papa of buda who fuqed one night. We have after all established that one can understand a story instead of believing or preaching it. |
In Yoruba we say, "one tree does not a forest make", and so is one person not a society. A unit only becomes a society when it joins with another unit. |
Dtruthspeaker:Which is why I wonder why you'd present Res ipsa loquitur as if it were something one mustn't do. |
KnownUnknown:And one is expected to seriously consider the opinion of one who claims to understand a book by reading it's cover? You are very funny. |
Dtruthspeaker:You speak for yourself all through this thread, dt, and you have not wavered from it at all, and just as you fail to comprehend the message in the text contested here, so do you not quite comprehend the message your own words convey. If you did, you would not be punishing Eve for using her God given senses instead of becoming as dumb as Adam who thought Eve was his rib! Now, if Adam had bothered to ask Eve where life came from she might have corrected him, but then, Adam is you, blind and uncorrectable, despite all the evidence placed before you. |
Dtruthspeaker:No you are not "simply observing the Court proceedings against her". dt, and I seriously wish you would. What you observe is the "proceedings against her" as reported by one source, with no awareness at all that there might be another side that has not been presented to you in the source that you observe, and with that one side do you judge that Eve offended and must be punished. And you do this without observing even the evidence that your source provides you, which is that Eve did not die from acquiring knowledge, but her eyes opened and she gained wisdom and she freed herself and her Adam from the Garden they were slaved in to become self employed, and went on to populate the entire earth with people who are today considering migrating to Mars. |
Dtruthspeaker:And anyone who goes through this thread would see how you claimed that Judge is you, lol Dtruthspeaker:God is not human me who is limited by number, and if God had a number limiting it it would likely be in the region of gazillion times gazillion times and not my own mere 70 time 7 times! Dtruthspeaker:Conduct (of which doing the right thing, and sinning, are just aspects of) gets its own instant reward or punish, dt. If I sin I will reap it's result here on earth for it is like travelling down a wrong path, and I would hope any God of mine has better things to do than to be keeping a record just so it can "raises and counts your charges" unless I ask for forgiveness. If my parents kept count of my charges so they can raise them against me unless I ask for forgiveness, I'd disown them just as quickly as I'd disown any God of mine that chooses to be so petty and silly to be keeping count of my charges so it can raise them against me unless I ask for forgiveness. And if I were so petty and silly to be keeping count of my children's charges so I can raise them against them unless they ask for forgiveness, then Lord God thank you for giving me the intellect to take myself to the bottom of a river to bash my head against a rock first before I ruin my children! Dtruthspeaker:And anyone who goes through this thread would see how you claimed that Judge is you, lol. |
Dtruthspeaker:You judge what Eve did as an offence for which she will get a punishment. You do not consider that Eve used her talents (ability to think and reason and ask and seek and knock), which Adam had not used and which made him the naked ignorant slave that he was. Look around the world, people. There are predominantly Adam nations where believe reigns supreme, and there are Eve nations where the use of the senses reigns. Which is which, and which is more desirable as a nation. And what happens to which, do you think?
|
Dtruthspeaker:How can a God whom we read sent his only begotten son who taught, forgive seventy times seven times, "raises and counts your charges", dt? Is that God so hypocritical that it punishes others for sins itself commits? I expect a God to forgive so much that it would not bother counting "raises and counts your charges", but if it does, it just shows how lousy a creator it must be to have created with the potential to have charges and then waste time raising them instead of mending future creations. A better God will provide the mechanism to correct what would be one's charges, but if it doesn't, I better learn about the good charges and the evil charges since a high count in one is more preferable, to myself, to say the least, and to others, after all no one suffers more than myself from my own ignorance, though my God too will suffer due to my ignorance of worship. And thank the Gods that Gods actually are better than "raises and counts your charges" Gods, and have provided the mechanism to correct so your count may be low, for not only provided in the garden you were placed in to tend a tree that produces fruits that would nourish you full of knowledge, you also get to learn what happens once you eat of it too, and if you didn't learn, "here's my Logos to teach you too", we read God said. Pity to see you gleefully crucifying the Logos here, again though. Still must we try hard to not raise nor count it against you just as our Gods have better things to do than raise and count against us. I must say though, it's hard not to raise and count against you. |
Unizikbuynasell:The purpose of that picture is precisely what you've done here, which is, to wonder and then go asking and knocking and seeking so you may know instead of merely believing. You after all can not believe what you posted. |
KnownUnknown:Not reading a book from cover to cover is akin to seeing a person's monicker and assuming to know everything about them. Yes, you do need to read a book from cover to cover to understand it. And if you had read the Bible or/and the Quran from cover to cover, you would not use the word "obeying" because you would understand instead. |

benalvino3:You keep saying this, Ben, and we know. Fact is, one is not the only point maker, so one should listen to other's points. Maybe? Perhaps? Sometimes? |
AlphaTaikun:My elders wrote about it. benalvino3:Now you have shown you get it, ben. You understand greed of the leaders will motivate them to inflict more pain on Russia's Putin. That's said, one should not dismiss the fickleness of the public. Some idiots might start demonstrating in support of Putin. |
benalvino3:That's why sanctions will be ramped up against buyers if and once they are in a position to not be hypocrites. You can't be buying Russian gas or fertilisers and be telling others not to buy what they want especially when Russia is selling at a discount. Watch out for a nuclear agreement with Iran in a year or two, especially if we face a recession plus inflation and high oil prices. That will immediately tank oil prices and Russia. |
benalvino3:All those leaders who refuse to take a strong stance against Russia will be served their heads in losses at their next elections, Ben. Summer soon come here in UK, and youths need a reason to be out demonstrating on the streets, and Save Ukraine sounds much less selfish than Brandon's Inflation, in my opinion. Sanctions take time. Besides, Europe needs to stress test winter with no Russian gas before it sanctions Russian gas - they are cautious like that. January. Or Putin backed down. Third option is, Putin is mad. |
benalvino3:Increase in the price of oil and gas is precisely what is appreciating the ruble, but they are currently facing problems selling it, which will impact the ruble. They can't keep selling at a discount or get away with hiding who they selling to for too long.

benalvino3:How long before the war, Ben? And was that not to be expected as Russia rushed to convert as much dollar as it owned into Rubles? That's what the spike from late 2021 was. I'm sure you've heard the conspiracy that Putin began planning his Ukraine invasion as soon as he knew he'd be dealing with Biden. |
On his first day as the new old interim CEO of Starbucks, which has been in the news for a series of successful union votes by frustrated employees, Howard Schultz told employees in a letter this morning that the company would end its share buyback program. “This decision will allow us to invest more profit into our people and our stores – the only way to create long-term value for our stakeholders,” he wrote on his first day back in the job. |
