dru23: It is not easy at all .. I had an experince years ago at my place of work ...The customer, white woman o ..she was very upset at me and rude .. I just explain calmly to her the policy of the company.. And the reason why couldnt do what she wanted me to ....
Next day I saw her , she came and apologize to me. She said eventhough she was yelling at me . I was calm about it .. I told her no big deal at all ,and I was not upset. If I wanted to get a phone that day , she would have given it to me . But she is a guest, that is not allowed plus you don't mix business with pleasure....
Even if person want fight you .. They will check you out first to see if they can beat you.. johnwell: You are right sir, There's one that took my boss wife from international airport to Lekki, the guy clean up (nice face cap, white shirt, blue jean and a good canvas). the woman was boiling because my boss kept her waiting for long (more than 3 hours) before I get there. The woman poured all her anger on the guy, I was just watching them, the slightest thing the woman will yell at the young man and all the guy will say is I'M SORRY MA. Me I was tired because from airport to Lekki was abuse upon abuse.
When we get home, the same guy asked me not to bother that he will offload the luggages, which he did to their flat (third floor).
After everything the woman asked him to come into the sitting room, offer him a seat.
She introduced herself to him (she's a nurse in Canada) then ask the driver if he is married and he said no. The woman said that he is a good man with a good business mindset and a charming appearance.
To summarize the story, she gave the guy 10k for that trip - she asked him to take her to Anambra the next day (drop off), after three days he went back for her (with her Range R) - the three weeks vacation she came in Nigeria, its that guy that was her driver and he was earning 10k daily driving Range Rover around Lekki/Ikoyi. One or two trips a day. - even when she travelled back she still call the guy and sent him some errands in Lagos/Anambra with good pay. - they became best friends, she sits in front not behind when I asked her why she said the guy dress well and speaks good English. - she introduced her to her friends, even my boss use the guy as well.
I asked the guy why he didn't abuse the woman, he said he's out there to make legitimate money, so anything that comes he endures, he's after the money not the insult, after all we no go see again, except by chance.
Appearance, Endurance and Approach gives you mega offline trips, you don't have to ask, it comes automatically (according to the driver) Great lesson from both of you, how I wish we can learn from these. |

I told her how sorry I was but her mother told me to get out of their faces and they left the house.
Bros, this may sound somehow but you never get wife. Her action looks like a timed bomb those supporting her, does she knows the implication of locking her husband out of his matrimonial bedroom? |

Malawian: She already wanted to leave even before the slap and was waiting for an excuse, why beg her all night? Don't go to her mum to beg her to return, let her be there for 2 years after which her head go correct on its own. I speak from experience. meanwhile, live your life, if love happens to you again, take it!!! Never ever beg someone to stay with you, that is how see finish starts. I made that same mistake and she always use it against me (you should've allowed me to go, I hate this relationship, please let me be), but when I decided to let her be she called my siblings to beg me, but that was too late. |

golddare: Let me give you a mature mind advise; 1. You must make up your mind never to hit your wife till you die and your wife must never raise her voice again till she die. 2. Bone her mama and brother, just keep in touch with your wife by calling her from time to time even if she refuse to pick your calls. 3. If she doesnt pick your call, send a message in the morning to her, greeting her and asking about the baby likewise at night. Dont mention the matter again, dont apologise again. 4. Ask how she's coping after some days tell her to send her account number so that you can send some upkeep. Make sure it's her account number and not her brother or mother. 5. I give your wife 3weeks she will be willing to return unless you have not been a good husband before. She will get tired of her fathers house, shame go dey catch am after awhile and you have open the doorway for her return by constantly communicating with her even when she doesn't reply. 6. This is a rough road to follow but you would have delivered your life from the bondage of such inlaws. 7. If you will beat your wife again dont bother taking my advise. 8. If you cant cook or eat bread with stew, or sleep on the couch alone for the time being go and gather your relatives so as to go and beg your mother in law . I'm in love with this, you make sense. But the bold sentence; mbanu, isn't she alive? Their mouth runs like a broken tap. |

Adjo10: Hello calabardick. I think your post can now be commented on giving Juswise’s response that it was due to a technical problem.
I don’t think my response will be of much help but let me try and answer it in a more general way. Relocating to Brazil seem like a good idea to me but again it all depends on personel choice of country, purpose of relocation and most importantly the type of resident permit you have in Brazil.
Brazil is big and everyone has a city that appeals to him or her for various reasons. If Sertãozinho appeals to you, then go for it. It looks like you may be able to find work there in your field given your narrative. Finding a work you are passionate about is an important step worth considering.
My question however is, how do you plan relocating to Brazil in terms of visa or resident permit? because Vitem I does not allow an extended stay or residency to the best of my knowledge. But if you already have a good plan and think moving to Brazil is good then i support you 100%. Brazil has been good to me. It can also be excellent to you.
Cheers Thanks for the response. In terms of relocation, I don't depend on the Vtem, it's for study. i met an MD of one of the major Industrial Automation OEM when I came there for training, we are working on something. I will like us to have a private conversation. Thanks |

IDeyNL: I was in the East recently and saw a lot of our Yoruba brothers and sister living happily. Also, any ipobians are doing business and living life in their SE region.
These Ipobians are not only in SW and north, they are also in many other countries. The same way Chinese, Indians and Europeans are in Lagos doing business, these IPOBs are also taking advantage of business opportunities like their foreign counterparts . Our Yoruba leasders need to stop this agbero menace in our region, also our skull mining activities.
The best is for us to split this country so that we can chase these IPOBs away. j Isn't this their lucrative biz? |

I want to appreciate you for your contributions to the success of this thread, It's so impressive. Adjo10 is like the mom here, so accommodating, caring and detailed; sometimes you answer questions I personally will not because they sound stoopid and irrelevant to me. e.g. Questions that have been answered severally, or questions that the answers are boldly written on the embassy's website. Your heart is warm and comfy. You're good. (see me see wahala with person wife) MrBrownJay1 and to you the father in the house, highly experienced & informed, always strictly on point, no sentiment, no shortcuts. You chastise and instruct. That's my kinda man. justwise the thread FBI (other threads have DSS & SSS, you rock) the officer in charge of change, truth and a better Nigeria. I really didn't recognize you until I saw something like "kiss this moniker goodbye for a very long time" that's when I realized that there's fire here. Back to business. I am considering relocating to Brazil. I have a Vitem I VISA I obtained (2017) for a professional "Industrial Automation" training in Brazil in an OEM (Smar Equipamentos Industriais, São Paulo). The training took place at their factory & training centre at Sertãozinho, I return to São Paulo on weekends. I thought of relocating to Sertãozinho, though due to the nature of my training (intensive) I wasn't opportun to explore the area. Is it advisable to consider Sertãozinho? As for my visa, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem renewing it or obtaining another since I've been there before. Please I strongly need your advice and any other information that will help. Obrigado. |

That's the stupidity of most Nigerians, that's why they fall prey for fraudsters parading themselves as traveling agents. I processed my visa, booked my flight without using any agent or whatever. I did all my research online and I got the VISA. All a common Nigerian knows about their phones is social networks, acquiring skills; 0%, research 0% and yet you see them everywhere carrying expensive phones with empty brain. Mme. useme. |

Name: Julius.
He's a legit guy, he helped me with my registration offline, I only went to their office for training and verification. Nigerians, we too like 3rd party. That's how someone told me how he will handle my Uber registration and so on, he told me that the online exams will cost me some bucks. After few hours of research, I created my Uber account alone (I had the rider account), upload my pic, took the assessment, got the result few days later, undergo the training online, add my bank account and tax details, upload vehicle inspection, and I was online. I did all these online without visiting their office, even when I was deactivated due high rate of trip cancellation, I go through the refreshers training online and my account was up that same day. I don't even know how their office looks like. |

jamespeter10: The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) has obtained a court order authorising it to auction 108 court forfeited/abandoned vehicles to interested members of the public.
Chairman of the agency, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that the vehicles to be auctioned by the government include 86 court forfeited and 22 abandoned vehicles after they had been impounded by the enforcement team of the agency in different parts of the State for driving against traffic (one-way) and committing other traffic offences.
Egbeyemi also stated that the public auction is scheduled to hold on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3rd and 4th of December, 2019 at the agency’s car park, Ikorodu, Lagos.
According to him, “It was after the expiration of the 30 days public notice issued by the agency in line with the dictates of the law to all owners of the 22 abandoned vehicles to claim them that the government obtained the court order to auctioned them to interested members of the public”
“Let me commend the present administration for the on-going massive roads rehabilitation going on simultaneously across the State and to state clearly that motorists both private and commercial bus drivers should desist from driving against traffic (one-way) or causing traffic obstructions to other roads users with.”

sp749513: Good moring nairalanders.
I want justice pls.
I was jailed 4 years ago when i was arrested, tried and sentenced for fraud.
I was not a criminally minded person but do to the economic hardship and how to provide for my wife and daughter I went into fraud.
My wife was supporting our union with her trade which the income was very low and to feed was war.
To cut the long story short when i was in prison she do visit occasionally but during 3 years spent already she stop visiting.
When i was freed last 2 months and to know what ups I went to where we live and learnt from a neighbour that my wife has parked out from our 2 rooms apartment and is now living with a man.
I got the address, went their and lo and behold she was heavily pregnant for the man.
I felt like fainting that moment and to make matter worse she said it to my face that she can't live with an ex convict.
My 5 years old daughter wants me back but my wife and her family are fighting against that.
I still love my wife despite her betrayal but the pregnancy and her refusal to give me back my daughter is giving me problem.
I want justice against the wife snatcher and i want back my wife and daughter.
Please what is the best ways to go about it so as not to go against the law.
Mods,I want justice. If her family kick against you the back off. You're a disgrace to that family. Stop disturbing the poor woman, you're reminding the mistake she made by marrying you. So your daughter needing you back is an automatic ticket? The little girl knows nothing. After 10 years confront your daughter again, she'll tell you how useless and disappointing you are. Look for your inmates and marry one of them. |
