Hello fruitful ladies. Happy new year and I wish u a fruitful 2013.

I am posting a pic of our daughter to the Glory of God and to encourage u that our God is good. She is now 6 wks old. The pic was taken at 3 wks Hello fruitful ladies. Happy new year and I wish u a fruitful 2013.

She was 3 days old in the pic with the cap and she was 3wks old in the pic with out the cap. She has gotten darker,taller and bigger has thw days go by. She weighed 3.5kg and measures 53cm tall at birth.

God has been good , my mom and husband have been so helpful I can't thank God enough for the strength he has given us.

Baby girl is a month old now. How time flies. She is growing well and has gained weight every one comments on her cheeks but she got that from her dad's side.

She Is having gas and sometimes feels uncomfortable passing gas. I burp her well before laying her down on her back. She is still only breast milk. Last night she was really fussy due to the gas. Abeg, is there any of our naija food that I should avoid?

I have also tried gripe water and gas drops. They give relief for a little time only.

How old was ur baby when your mum started to put ur baby on a schedule.?

My Dr advices to feed on demand for the first.few.weeks. since.most babies her age need to sleep/grow.

During the day, I have been waking her up by changing her diaper .at night she wakes every 3 hours

After writing the post I contacted a lactation consultant and she asked me how many wet / poop diapers my baby has per day. Based on my answers she thinks my baby is getting enough food.

Anyway last night I pumped and stored 3 ounces in 2 bottles ( since she wakes up 2wice between midnight and daybreak) she finished both bottles and pooped and wet her diaper well . I guess I had nothing to worry about abi.. her weight will be checked at her next Dr appt. In a week

New mom and ftm too. My daughter is a week old. I plan to read all the pages of this thread. In this one week google and baby books have been helpful in filtering all the advice I have been getting from friends who are "veteran" moms .

For example I am breastfeeding and my baby poops after every meal. A friend said it was not normal, so I got scared Nd introduced formula for one day until I was able to see a Dr the next day. My Dr said it was normal , since color and consistency was what Dr expected.

Now,that I am back to BF my mom thinks she is not eating enough she sucks for 10-15 mins and then falls asleep , she wakes up every 3 hours at night . But during the day she sleeps a lot. Is this normal
?, how do I know she is getting enough food and that she is falling asleep because she is full.

With great joy and gratitude to the prayer answering God I announce the arrival of our daughter last week Thursday ( after 10+ hours of labor and almost 4yrs of ttc) she is worth it all. Am grateful to God that we r home, and that we both came home together. I am grateful to God for his provision,, for strength and for all the love she has received. Was induced a week early because the Dr thought she would be big like 10 pounds .. she was much much smaller she weighed 7 pounds and 21 inches tall.,

Menh.. contractions no be small thing.I had to get medication after 4 hours of labor and I realized it was going to be a long day.

I am so grateful to God . I feel I have not thanked him enough for such a healthy and beautiful baby girl . Please join me in praising JEHOVAH.

@abibby.I don't know mu h about the IVF procedure except for what I read on here. But I think one thing pikin mama always says is that u should not allow anything to stress or worry you.during the IVF process . having said that my first response is that u should not worry much. 12 or 30 all that matters now is God should bless u this cycle.

At bukkieluv I posted yesterday about what I did after my ectopic (I.e how I praised God). I was not sure why I posted it yesterday or came online yesterday after weeks of not coming online. But now I know it was to encourage you. Let me tell you something. God is everywhere and can answer your prayers from anywhere. Pray with thanksgiving , you did not die, you did not loose a tube. You are fertile . Stop this self pity. You are an overcomer . Read Job 14 vs 7_9 . Have hope.and faith in God.

@ limar yes a woman with blocked tubes can still ovulate and also get signs of ovulations like ewcm and ovulation pains.

I remember when I had an ectopic pregnancy last year. The next Sunday after the procedure. During praise and worship at church I danced so tey I moved from where I was sitting and danced in the front of the whole church.(with my shy self) . Am sure the devil sef was confused but I was determined to praise God thru it.

MSTIA: @Camrygmail, thanks my sister, he refused after looking through the chart he said he will not prescribe any drug, but would have to monitor my progesterone through out the cycle. before prescribing any drug. For me I have decided to start taking vitamin B6 and also get a lower dose of Vitamin E. because I found out that a higher dose will do the opposite of what it is suppose to do. I will get Omega 3 also. He believes too much in doing numerous test before taking a decision, I will play along, but will take these multivitamin I just mentioned. Hope your LO is doing fine and you are ok too. Stay blessed

@Mstia, i am happy you are being pro active. AND I am happy to read that you are seeing another Gynae. I pray you respond well to Clomid and that you will end this cycle with a BFP. Is your AF late? and I hope like Ebony said that this doctor will monitor you on this clomid cycle. you may want to stock up on pre seed to combat the CM dryness that most women on clomid experience.
