MamaT this too shall pass.... |
@alwaystrue.. thanks for sharing your experience. I try not to push my friend at all. but at the same time, when i read something on this thread that i feel will be beneficial to her, I have to remind myself that she does not want to hear anything about TTC. I have been battling with my self about sending this thread to her, because I got and still get so much encouragement and support from this thread that I feel like she would get the same. When i met her she was TTC and we became friends (she is a big sister to me). after having our baby, i have not been able to talk about TTC without feeling like i am bothering her. I honestly just pray for her and ask God to answer her. i always imagine how I will dance and just jump for joy when she tells me she is pregnant. secondly your story about the lady with the twins also rings a bell with me. I am grateful for how God has blessed us since our daughter's birth. People keep saying she brought goodness into our family. Na GOd o. |
I pray for all TTC ladies, that whatever will help you on your journey to a bfp, God will reveal it to you and He will order your steps. No more trial and error, no more just doing test for testing sake. God will empower you to make the right decisions about food, doctors, prayers points, procedures, supplements etc. Also please don't give up. I have a friend who has given up on all medical test/supplements,it is so bad that even if I tell her to try taking prenatals. she no wan hear. and she says she is just clinging on to God. My prayer for her now is that God will reveal to her what she needs to do and He will order her steps. |
Hello Joyful mothers, while catching up. I have laughed courtsey of Safe06,Nmagirl,mamatrip and some other posts i read while catching up. I have praised God and thanked Him on behalf of Wonyi and Mummyf for their BFPs. I am trusting God for Udoka and the other Mummies that He who began this good work will perfect it. Healthy pregnancy is yours o. I have prayed that all those who are depressed or discouraged will realize that they have reasons to be encouraged. see the story of the woman with HIV that Cjonne posted. God will not put more on us than we can bear. we don't have to even hear of people's negative stories before we appreciate God. |
Tishe, Ticha and Buccacious congratulations and Thanks to God almighthy. He deserves all our praise. lol @ pinkmama post. Inwanigbo baba ibeta,I hope you are getting ready for the diaper changing, sleep deprived stage. Am sure you are more than ready. God bless them. Blendy, how has it been with going back to work? I returned to work when my baby was 3months old. Luckily my mum and mom in law have been around to take care of her during day so she has not experienced day care yet. DId you take the twins to Day care? or you have help at home. God's blessing to all those in the process of IVF/IUI. Pslm 23 it is been a while. I hope you are doing well and rising above all challenges. |
My 7 month old has atopic eczema and I feel sorry for her when she starts itching . We have tried Shea butter, coconut oil, aquaphor, aveeno,Vaseline and cerave. It has gotten a lot better over the months and we are now only dealing with reoccurring patcheson her thighs , knees, elbows and stomach. Here is how we have gotten it under control so far We changed here laundry soap to All free and clear( we were using dreft and if was bad for her skin) , use cerave hydrating cleanserfor her bath soap and we use cerave moisturizing cream. We also use hydrocortisone for the patches and to help stop the itching I am still trying to figure out what triggers the reoccurring patches and I have learnt that applying cream to her body as often as possible has helped. I hope this helps some one else outthere. I may give tetmosol a try when she is older. |
@safe06 abegi leave that 1837 matter jare, since them never born us that time wetin concern us with that era. ![]() @udoka .. covering ur bump with shawl ke? Very soon u will need a bed sheet to cover ur bump. My dear allow u bump to advertise God work for ya life o. @alwaystrue how r u doing? @omonikiba thanks o baby is doing fine she is almost 7 months. She is enjoying only child status now. But not for long by God's grace she will be a big sis someday soon. |
@mummyf sorry o say I no respond sooner, the hydrocortisone cream should be safe for TTC ask ur pharmacists sha. Howwever, when I used it was only for sections that itched due to a rash/allergic reaction. My baby has a moderate case of atopic dermatitis ( Yoruba people call it Ella) and when she has a flare up it itches so her Dr prescribed hydrocortisone 1% for her as well. I am saying this to say that it was genetle enough for my baby. Do you itch in a particular area or just all over itching? If it is all over may be u should try an oral antihistamine like clartin or piritin . Could it be dry skin ? as for me I itch when there is change in weather and I have to make sure I use cold water to bath as hot water causes the itch to increase. I have also heard that low progesterone can cause itching ( u can Google more for that) |
safe06: @fruitfulmama u are welcome. safe06: @fruitfulmama u are welcome.I agree. (Lol i just dey find your trouble ni) ![]() |
Since it started recently I suggest u pay attention to what is New in ur environment. Perfume ,food ,drinks detergent or deodorant. Hydrocortisone 1% cream can offer some relief . |
Congrats nictos and Doris God will perfct what he has started and give u a stress free, worry free 9 months . |
@prepec I do not live in Lagos but if u do search on this forum a lot of people have posted contact for fertileaid distributors in Lagos. Try hard to find it. I hope it works for u. |
PREPEC: I have seen gynae. Being on drugs for the past 2 years just for me to have my period every month but that is not working well. When I stopped in October 2012 because I was really tired of taking the drugs and injections my period has not come. Are you Irreg Periods caused by hormone imbalance? what drugs and injections were you taking? Have you gone to another dr for second opinion. I would also recommend you read about FERTILEAID. It helped me when my periods were irregular. |
Udoka .. God is good. Thank God for His watch over you n Baby. I Thank God for His faithfulness and for never leaving you or forsaking you. Great baba baby too. sparkle congrats ooo. God has done it. Doris please take a preg. test . It is well. Have no fear. Just know that God is still God regardless of the result. Doyin our destinies are not the same don't compare yourself good or bad with another. I think you should ask God to restore your joy and faith in Him concerning TTC. Instead of asking you can pray with Thanksgiving believing that you have received . @all Jehovah has the final Say o. |
[quote author=Alwaystrue]Exodus 3:19-22 19-22 “I know that the king of Egypt won’t let you go unless forced to, so I’ll intervene and hit Egypt where it hurts—oh, my miracles will send them reeling!—after which they’ll be glad to send you off. I’ll see to it that this people get a hearty send-off by the Egyptians—when you leave, YOU WON'T LEAVE EMPTY-HANDED! EACH WOMAN will ask her neighbor and any guests in her house for objects of silver and gold, for jewelry and extra clothes; YOU'LL PUT THEM ON YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS. OH, YOU'LL CLEAN THE EGYPTIANS OUT!” Which bible translation is this? |

Ha blank u confirmed my suspicions the rash came after her 3 months shots/ vacinnie. Am Surprised our Dr did not see a link . The grandmas think it is "Ella" is ur son's rash on his back too? God will heal them both Thank you for ur reply God bless u blank: |
Thanks diamondlove. I am not in naija access to agbo is very limited. But if u know the English name of the herbs I can find it in am whole foods store. If I take her back to a Dr. It will be another Dr for second opinion o. |
Mums how are u and the babies? My baby is now 5months and has a rash on her back took her to our oyinbo Dr and she said it is eczema she gave me creams and it cleared with in 3 days but it has come back. The cream cannot be used for more than 2 weeks cause it is a presxription ointment. Before going to Dr I used ori, coconut oil, cetaphil soap and some other creams . Nothing worked . So Abeg look at the picture ,is it really eczema.? And it is only that section of her back. It does not itch her sha and it does not contain pause. Any advice . |
Chokl8y: MamaT and Venuss, as you can see, our Oga at the top has taken over. Let us just forget it. As Venuss said, me sef I no dey watch any rubbish again. Na comedy, romance comedy and reality shows I dey watch. I love Tia and Tamera cos their show is so clean and Tamera is pregnant now (in d show cos she has given birth since last yr) so as I dey watch, I dey rub my bele o...and e dey sweeting me!\ i have not posted in a while . but i am silently reading and praying. Omo! the chicken part na true o. and as for Fish, i have not been able to eat fish head for as long as I know. If I witness the chicken being killed, and I pull the feathers myself, that means I will not be able to eat it. So Chokl8y I feel you seriously . if someelse prepares the chicken then it is easier for me to digest. lolLadies in your 2ww bfp wishes me from me and baby girl. |
blank: I used dusting powder on my first kid but the pediatrician advised against it. Said it could cause asthma from the baby inhaling the dust from the powder. I tried to use something to apply the powder but it still got into his nose so I stopped.as for the dusting power issue, use a talc free powder for example a powder that is cornstach based has less fumes. My daugther had rashes (during the winter) on her stomach and back we used dusting poweder to clear it up but then it caused her skin to become really dry and then we started dealing with dry skin /eczema issues. shea butter help alot for the dry skin. I feel your mom on the AC issue. I think it better for a baby to have heat-rash than a cold. My sister's daugther had a cold as a baby, it was hard to watch her cough. Most importantly do what you think is best o jare. if you turn on the AC then make sure they well covered. My love your twins. |
Moms my voice got deeper during my 2nd trimester and by the time I had my baby , I could not talk on the phone with out people thinking I was a man. Now 3 months after delivery, and am back to work and when i talk on the phone it still sounds deep. People around me have gotten used to it. But I have not. Abeg did anyone else experience this. What can I do. I have tried google but a lot of people said it was hormonal and will probably stay like that. any suggestions I know someone else who after pregnancy could not wear her shoes. Na wah what our body goes thru. |
@blendy I don't think it is heat rash especially because both babies are in the same room and temperature should affect them simillarly if not identical. Is the rash more on the forehead. Or the checks? Most babies have heat rash on their back and bellies. |
@infog thanks alot. |
Also where can I get fertile aid in Abuja for a friend |
Hello fruitful ladies how are you all doing? I am just checking in . Please o keep trying, keep fit and keep praying . Jehovah has the final say. |
While in school i thought financial accounting was very broad ..working and applying the accounting principles in "real life" has helped me grasp the principles better. This is how I understand Bad debt. Baddebt occurs as result of non payment of Accounts Receivable balances from a customer. i.e deliquent customers. The bad debt account is an expense account as such the normal balance should be debit and the account is usually located in the expense section (income statement) of a company's chart of accounts. some companies usually (based on management assumptions) calculate bad debt as an estimate of the AR balances that over 60/90 days past due. Smaller companies can record/calculate bad debt based on each customer's account. you can't talk of bad debt without talking about the "allowance for doubtful accounts" (AFDA is a balance sheet account). Here are a series of entries that are related to bad debt. Initail entry to record the receivable for sales/services provided Debit AR and Credit Revenue account To record an AFDA for the deliquent receivable Debit Bad Debt expense and Credit AFDA To Write off a receivable after it has been deemed uncollectable Debit AFDA and Credit AR |

Your topic just screamed Jedi Jedi to me. I think the effect will have to do with ur sugar levels and caffine in excess can be bad for overall health. Have u tried quiting ? Try going cold turkey and just quit or try reducing the quantity u consume. Another option is to dilute the drinks with water till u finally quit craving for them. |
