Alwaystrue: @camrygmail,I saw your apology after my post .sorry I did not mean to bring it back up. |
@ipio I have not had the hsg procedure, but I know that drinking 8 glasses of warm water daily helps with cramps. And there are sometimes that I don't even want to try the water therapy I just drink pain killer jare ![]() @udoka yes o jute leave is oyinbo for ewedu and I only knew that when I moved to Yankee ( funny story about that but I will tell it another day) Jute leave/ewedue is very low in calories and so is peppersoup , I wonder if your friend lost weight on this "diet" there by allowing her hormones to become balanced. How many cycles did she do this pepper soup and ewedu diet for? @ champs - you are a strong lady, don't give up. We will celebrate another BFP with you soon and this time God will perfect what hrs has started. As for me I am grateful to God for good health. And LO is doing great. she is blessed and highly favored. |
@alwaystrue, I believe everyone has the right to share an opinion and make suggestions but only God should be our judge. Now here is my opinion, The bible definition of adultery implies that a married woman/man commits adultery when they engage in sexual act with a third party, with or without the consent of thier spouse and there by defiling their marriage bed. So therefore in my opinion accepting donor fluid is not adultery. Alwaysture, I think u were attacked for casting judgment and not for presenting your opinions. Even if my user name is omojesu and I decide to accept donor fluid, your message/post should edify and not cast down( that is whaty bible says) @ believer84: like I have said in the past, you are one of the ladies whose first post stayed on mind . I could not imagine what I would do if I were in shoes. I have never talked about this before, but earlier in our TTC days my dr suggested my husband may be at fault for delay on getting pregnancy and so he needed to go for SA, I noticed my attitude Towards him changed and I had to ask for forgiveness and help from God to deal with such emotions. So my dear I applaud you for loving ur husband and respecting him. Now as for accepting donor fluid, I do not believe that it is adultery . I However believe that it will take a lot praying and guidance for you both to be totally at peace with your decision and if for any reason one of you is not a 100% sure then don't go ahead with it. But it seems this is something you both have prayed and talked about. In the meantime, read online testimonies of men that God has healed of no fluid count ..my prayer for you and other TTC ladies is that God will make ur joyful and fill your mouth with His praises |
@ gen buhari, God knows I had Soo much hope and did not expect it to end like this. Yoruba people call God "kabiyesi" meaning who can question Him. Please know that your wife and yourself are not to be blamed . You both prayed , hoped , fought and beloved on behalf of your child. Your wife will recover and regain every virtue she has lost in Jesus name. The love you both share will increase and God will bless you with all you need to continue to be great parent to your other children. |
soapdish: Hi Sisters. Iv posted a couple of times mainly to ask questions. We have been ttc2 for a year plus now. In December last year, I started having irregular period which was caused by supposedly high prolactin. I was place on drugs for 2months. Early last month I started taking Fertilaid. Af was suppose to show around 24th of June but when it didn't show, I thought it was the usual long circle. Was reluctant to do PT however, summoned up courage to do HPT and lo and behold it turned out POSITIVE.Congratulationsssssssssss!!!!!!!! God deserves praise on this thread. He has done it again and He will do it again, He is the same God. I pray that every doctor's check up and report in your 40weeks will only bring good news. I am sure dh is overjoyed.get enough rest and stay hydrated. @udoka, we will have to blame nipost for not delivering ur mallams check to him via mail. How you doing dear? Your dr visit will only bring good news and good reports in Jesus Name |
Baby is counting on u and madam not give up. It is well GenBuhari: @udoka2, MSTIA and gracefull |
RocksQueen: bump 8Yes o! drinks and suya are on me. just tell the mallam on your street to put it on my tab. And if your mallam does not know who CAMRYGMAIL is..... then he needs to be replaced. #happy.. |
@zenoj,HEbrew woman and Shiloh I thank God that you all still make me feel welcome on this thread. You see we all joyful mothers in Jesus name. I feel like I have formed a bond with ladies on this thread and I always pray for goodnews before I check the thread . As for me baby is doing great am due in December by grace of God. Gender we will know at next dr's appointment. |
GenBuhari: Update on my wife's bleeding at 19/20 weeks pregancy :GenBuhari, I just wanted to say that thank God for your wife that her BP and heartrate are normal and that the baby's heartrate is normal. God bless you for sticking by her. God will see your family thru this time. I don't have any experience with the amniotic sac part. but i know that catheters have a high risk of introducing infections. a close member of my family was placed on a catheter (non pregnancy related) and the fear of an infection was really stressed to us by the doctors. Take care. |
Hello joyful mothers! This thread is glowing with good news, Our God is good. @udo,nikki,yogung and Sasi how are your seeds of greatness ? To God be the glory am sure they are doing perfectly fine. I have not been online a lot lately, but my schedule has gotten lighter so I shall be posting more . Abeg seanbell do I have to pursue you with cane to claim ur BFP and stop hoping for af. Me, I join the other ladies to think positively that u are preggie. positive opk can be an indication of bfp, when u are expecting af and u r not in ur o window. Bukkieluv, how r u doIng? Did u start a detox program ? I think detoxing helps after taking the methRotexate shot. It is well with u. GEN BUHARI, your wife and baby are doing well in Jesus name. Please continue to trust in Him that affliction shall not happen a second time, ur past experience will not repeat itself in Jesus name. @infogenuis how is ur madam and the seed of greatness she is carrying? I thank God in advance for the report of a safe delivery that we will soon hear from u. @believer84 I am seriously looking forward to your testimony, and God will receive praise from ur lips really soon regarding a bfp. Shout outs to Ebony13, rocksqueen,Mstia ,Shiloh and all the ladies you are blessed. @agibomma how r u doing these days? Welcome to all the new joyful moms, |
Sasi did your doctor prescribe any progestrone supplements? |
This time the Lord will make His face to shine upon you. He will not suffer your foot to be moved, the keeper of Isreal will be your help. Have no fears for it is WELL with your Soul. |
CONGRATULATIONS to Udoka,Yogun and Sasi. Udoka/Sasi : I am sorry the devil is trying to play tricks with your BFP but just believe on the EVERLASTING GOD. Even if your faith is shaky and not strong, ask God to help your unbelief and increase your faith. read the story in Mark 9 v 14-29, especially verse 24. God is our helper. Now if your faith is already strong in God then please just begin to praise him and thank Him. My prayer for Udoka and Sasi, Father in the name of Jesus, I beleive that ALL power in Heaven and on Earth belongs to you, so therefore the devil has no power over Sasi and Udoka's BFP testimony, according to the bible you are a faithful God, who is faithful to complete what you have started in the lives of these women. Father show your self as their helper and help every part of their body/organs to work together to keep their pregnancies safe. Father, I claim the rewards of a tither on their behalf. Lord remember your word in Mal 3v 10-13 and please rebuke every devourer of their joy, peace, faith and testimony in the MIGHTY and WONDERFUL name of Jesus. I will come back later to catch up and respond to other posts. God bless us all. |
@recruitment God is good, he made the doctor eat his words and he even named your son miracle. to God be the glory.i am grateful to God for your safe delivery ooo. Enjoy your baby and motherhood. @all am in my 4th month and my first trimester was so full of energy and besides a few days of nausea I had a good time and I was looking forward to an even better second trimester. But I am always sleepy and one minute I have energy the next am totally drained... Did any one experience this too... |
Your ex wife's husband is truly a kind hearted person, ur ex-wife has a forgiving heart and God bless your mom, I hope u survive and can make it up to them. |
udoka2: Hello house. Hope u are enjoying ur wkend?Thank God we r doing great, should know our baby's gender by next dr visit. I honestly have u all in mind and prayers. I have been on this journey b4 and anything I can do to help |
@udoka the word s:perm was replaced with fluid and also e:jacu:Lation was replaced with expel Yes I believe non viscous is good , what did she suggest for treatment of an infection, may be the lab did not think the results were a reason for concern about infection. |
udoka2: Pls can someone help with better explanation of these terms in semen analysis results plsOkay this what I found I quickly found out that PUS cells are described as "round cell concentration" in the US/UK sperm analysis reports, so according to dr zita wests book, round cells are either immature sperm cells or white blood cells, so collectively they are called round cells. ( further stain testing, which most labs don't perform, will further determine the ratio of white blood cells to immature sperm cells) but according to the results you posted it appears that PUS cells are white blood cells, so the book says "a concentration of more than 1 million per 1ml white blood cells or 5milliom round cells may indicate an infection, prognosis depends on severity and a course of anti biotics may clear up the problem" As for the color the book says " normal semen is opalescent and grayish, yellow semen might1) indicate high intake of vitamans supplements which is not a problem,2) high level of flavoproteins resulting from long abstinence which is easily remedied " she also mentioned that red color means there rEd blood cells in the semen.... So I am not sure what color the lab is referring to by saying straw.?! Viscosity: "normal ejaculate is initially very viscous but becomes runny after about 10 minutes due to action of enzymes,if this does not occur within about an hour, sperm finds it difficult to swin up the cervix, this is not a serious problem, sperm can be washed and re-suspended in a special solution before being. Injected into the uterus" According the TCOYF book, prolactin testing can be done on any day of ur cycle. I hope all that English I typed up there helps u understand the results better. Finally God's report is what we believe. Found this on a website : While a few white blood cells in the semen is normal, many pus cells suggests the presence of seminal infection. Unfortunately, many labs cannot differentiate between sperm precursor cells ( which are normally found in the semen) and pus cells. This often means that men are overtreated with antibiotics for a "sperm infection" which does not really exist ! |
Hello fruitful and joyful mothers, Beign gone for a while but u all have been in my thoughts. Am doing well to the glory of God. @bukkieluv- sorry to hear bout the ectopic, I pray it will not happen again and thank God none of ur tubes were lost due to the ep. I also took the same shot they gave u when I had an ep, because dr said the ep was out side my tubes but he was not sure where. Please try adhere to the waiting period advised by dr. Let me know if there is nothing I can help with. @champs how r feeling? Pele dear! Stay strong. @ nikkygal congrats, wishing u a happy n healthy 40wks. @ rocksqueen where art thou? @ Udoka -happy ur dh allowed u to see a natruopath , God bless ur dh for Beign supportive. As the SA , I no to sabi the results, but I will check the books I have and g et back to u tdy. |
@op sorry to hear about your sister's ordeal. All doctors even oyinbo have their issues. I live in the US and years ago started seeing an Indian dr., he would talk for so long and suggest procedures that I myself would go home and research and realize the guy must be money hungry because the procedures were not related to my medical needs after 3months I started getting insurance bills for procedures I did not have, after fighting it out, he blamed it on his billing staff and corrected the error, some people don't look tru the insurance bills and am sure he has made money from them. As patients We should take charge of our health, get second opinion, go to the hospital as an informed patient (as much as possible) God will help us o. |
@udoka happy anniversary. @all ladies a friend of mine sent this testimony of a lady at rccg in canada i will post link here http://media.houseofpraise.ca/Play.aspx?id=60 Please take time to watch it and be encouraged I will take the link down on Monday since I am not sure what rights or permission I need to have before posting the video, however I just wanted to share it with u ladies badly. |
@ bukkieluv, can i suggest that you take an HPT just incase. because i have a friend who kept getting a postive OPK with light bleeding only to realize she was pregnant. |
Abeg Champs. I beg you in the name of God. don't get worried. don't feel defeated. please take your Progestrone and try as hard as possible to stay off the internet search engines (i know it can be hard). Hold on to Psalm 147 v13. "He has strengthed the bars of my gate and blessed the children with in me". Not sure if i mentioned it in my previous posts. but i also got a negative HPT after getting 2 positive HPT. I was soo upset with myself for doing the 3rd test. but Thank God. Your testimony is PERMANENT. |
Happy mother's day! I am doing well ,nausea is very mild these days, however I do not have an appetite for any food. I am always thirsty ( our days here are getting really hot) , befor pregnancy I always slept on my tummy or back now that both are out of the question, I am not enjoying sleeping on my side.. But I am grateful for strength and so I am not complaining. |
God you are great for givng us Good news on this thread thru Champ and her Dh . Now Champ you can't imagine how great your news made me feel. You are blessed. I started singing midnight crew' s song.... " baba God if I carry gramophone begin shout your praise ,then I no too shout" Your pregnancy will be smooth and easy, your baby/babies and yourself will be in good health thru out the preg. Baba God u too much.. Thank u for adding to my joy today. |
For the ladies that took time to comment on my long post about telling friends. Thank you. Still keeping my mouth mute to friends . Someone asked how far along I am 9wks . Rocksqueen God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. zenoj God will honor ur faith in Him, @all, I am reading every comment and praying for you all. Just trying not to be too talkactive. |
So a lot of ladies have been mentioning prolactin. Since I have not really heard or ever understood the condition I picked up to books on Ttc I enjoyed reading Here is what the book Tcof says about it ( forgive me if you some of the information is redundant) Prolactin is hormone produced in the pituitary glands that promotes production of B.reast milk and inhibts ovarian production of estrogen. According to book, estrogen is very important to the production of fertile cervical fluid (so ladies with high prolactin may also have issues with Ewcm). the author recommends parlodel/bromocriptine. So I grabbed the book fertility and conception ( by ziti west) here are the authors tips for reducing prolactin:Note: This author is more focused on nutrition and supplements. So if u have adverse effects to parlodel: -she believes prolactin levels increase due to the reduction in production of a hormone called dopamine (which is basically the active ingredient in parlodel) - in short reduce stress and find ways to intentionally relax -avoid strenuous exercise and avoid alochol especially beer. She encourages the use of the following vitamins : ZInc and B6 ( b6 is needed because it helps our body absorb zinc) . zinc supplement will allow ur body normally produce dopamine. Research foods high in zinc. She has a list but these foods may not be avail. In naija. Finally dr west, says the use of vitex herbs for three months have also helped with the production of dopamine. |
ooo no.. Shiloh. i was really rooting for you this time. It is well. BFP very soon. @cHAMPS -- how are you doing? @ udoka2, how are you doing? i see you are getting a hang of the temping. you won't be temping for long because BFP is very close. to all the ladies that have joined recently welcome. @believer84 you have been on my mind lately and I know you have been on God's mind as well. I pray the results for your husband's test will be encouraging inshort a BFP will be in line before he retest, so God can take the Glory. That happened to a friend of mine they were told they could not get preg. due to male issues and her DH was referred to a specialist he canceled his first appointment and rescheduled by the next appt. she had a BFP. @ MSTIA, i am so happy for you that your results showed no blocked tubes. we thank God almighty. like Rocksqueen said in a previous post, she surronds herself with friends that are also TTC. I joined a prayer group of TTC ladies in my area and i attended the last meeting because DH and I are not telling anyone outside family until 12 weeks. i felt like was betraying them. But I just prayed so hard that God will bless THEM too. I also took the time to pray for all you ladies on this thread. I know that it is not because i prayed for you but because God honors His word and will be merciful to all of you including me, that is why He will answer our prayers. Our next meeting is on Thursday and I plan to attend as well to pray for them, until i tell them- do you guys think that is okay? will you feel betrayed by a friend who does this ? Finally, i have a close friend who is TTC as well(although she has being TTC longer than me) and of this morning she sent me a text to encourage me and give me a new doctor referal we see each other atleast 3 time a week and I felt like telling her but not sure how to tell her. i know she will be happy for me and i will probably cry when i tell her. but I just know it can be such an emotional rollercoaster i have been there before. Finally Finally, i plan to continue to visit and encourage us all. am still yet to post the points from the book TCOF but it is just alot of information and some of it has been posted by seanbell and Ebony13. will work on it this weekend, I promise. |
Efemena_xy: Hi Camrygmail, I think it depends on where you're based and your company's policy on maternity.Thank you for your response. i am planning to tell my boss next week as a friend and then tell my HR at 12wks. My company really does not have any policy set in stone. i kinda work with older folks. so the last person that got preg as an employee of the company was 10 yrs ago and I asked last year for a maternity leave policy and i was told it depends on my managers discretion. lol. i quickly signed up for an outside short term disability plan. i am sure they will take care of me and as soon as i tell them they will start dusting off the employee manual or atleast revisit the section on maternity leave. lol. |
hello all.. I have been busy with work (while taking it easy) since work folks are not aware of my present state. For those having headaches (luckly i have not had any) my sister had them during her preg. and her Dr adviced her take a half a can of cocacola before trying any other meds (something about the gas in it helps to relive the headaches) it worked for her. Also I have not had very few episodes of nausea since monday. someone told me about eating ginger and it worked well for keeping the nausea away. so i snack on ginger cookies (low sugar ones) and drink ginger tea when i feel nausea coming on. @agiboma... i support your position on the case of the woman with the high BP. it will be sad for her to risk having another baby and the expense of the other 4 being motherless. |
So nausea started for me this week, my dh thinks I asked for it because when ever he asked how am feeling, my response was always " no symptoms" lol The nausea is all day and then I feel cold and hot tru out the night. I have found that I have to have something in my mouth always to help with the nausea, like gum, ice block, lemon sweets. I avoid milk and dairy products. We are looking forward to first Ultrasound in about 11 days . @ all when is a good time to tell your boss. My boss and I are very close , we have a good rapportand some stuff together outside of work sef. I plan to tell her as a friend not boss. So she will not be allowed to tell the company until I am ready to tell company. So when should I tell.? |
