Jerryherd:Your words show how disadvantaged you are. They show how unenlightened you are. They show they except from travelling within some parts of Oyo state, you have never visited or will ever visit any other state outside Yorubaland. I believe that you inherited hatred and wickedness against the Igbos and you will impart that same hatred to your children. Your lack of information restricted you from knowing that there is a seaport in the east. I can conclusively tell you that you are a MUNTULA! By the way if a war breaks out, chickens like you run under the bed. Stick you no go fit carry, not to talk of a matchet or hand gun sef. |
Hahahahahahahaha! Take us back ko, carry go ni. He forgot all he contributed to help APC get Nigeria to this present location. Now he has plenty of “if only”, “had I known”. Abi you think say na motor wey dey get reverse gear? Abbeggiiii. |
Buy weapons? Religiously radicalized? Attack the military? Who is deceiving who? With the words of the governor of Bauchi state, it has become clear that the bandits are empowered and enslaved by their own leaders. The reason why northern leaders would siphon funds meant to stop insurgency and banditry, we do not know. How would they rule over their states with such magnitude of destruction? Some of them spend most of their time in Abuja where they can find some false peace. They are already religiously radicalized. What is the man talking about? Someone says western education is evil. He drives that into the minds of his adherents and weaponise them to kill and destroy. Religion has always been used as the instrument of deceit by the leaders. The truth is that the so called little foetus they planted has grown into a monster that will consume them only. It seems there is a systematic and deliberate effort to weaken the military. If that’s not so, how are bandits able to easily kill many military personnel and seize their equipment. Thankfully once again with the Bauchi gov., we are beginning to see those behind the evil masquerade. |
habsydiamond:Who told you that farmers are not worth 60m and more? Do you think farmers are poor people? |
valentineuwakwe:Contemporary northern leaders are greedy, self centered, wicked hearted, deceptive to their people and very mean. Without doubt, from this Gov. Mohammed's words to Gov. Ortom, it is easy to see how banditry and insurgency are fuelled by the leaders, particularly of the northwest and northeast. We can safely say that most of those herdsmen and criminals get their AK47s from such leaders. Recently, there has been another story that the evil herdsmen get pittances from the ransome collected, while the bulk of the money goes to their sponsors. With such a governor, this country may witness another civil war, as cautioned by the respected Prof. Soyinka. |
leadzeal:He raised two issues here as the reasons for the threat to his life: 1. The throne 2. The land One cannot but ask certain questions: 1. What is his interest in the kingship? Is he trying to become the king of his community? Note that his community is a very small one. He’s one of the wealthiest people in Aniocha south and his interest may be very intimidating. If he is eyeing the throne, is he fighting against some another party who equally eyes the throne? 2. The land in dispute, how did he acquire it? Did he get the land legitimately? Or did he forcefully acquire it in part or as a whole? They say as long as the poor man is awake, the rich cannot sleep. I think his battles with members of his community have been going on for a very long time. Somehow a way must be found to bring calmness between him and his people. As a politician what is his relationship with his people? Is he close or far from them? Is he oppressive to them? Abiola was neither an Hausa nor Igbo man, but everyone voted him. The reason was that he impacted everyone positively. With the establishment of a university, his village Idumuje, will become prominent among the villages and towns that make up Delta state. |
SilverNorGold:Sentiments must be discarded. A spade must be called by its name. Whatever problems the Fulanis face as a race was brought upon them by their leaders. Northern leaders as a whole have permitted to be created/created/allowed to fester this monster that presently threatens the peace, unity and harmonious living of the entire country. Religion, politics and financial greed pushed the entire north into the present state that it finds itself. Rather than gather together and find means of legitimately empowering their poor and needy, the greedy politicians using religion as a potent tool, loot the commonwealth, further impoverish them and drive the nation to this brink of catastrophy. The north takes the largest allocation of the federation, yet remains the poorest area of the country. Look at boko haram. Started off by some northern youths, claiming that western education is sin. When it became a terror group, funds were allocated to tackle the menace. The allocated funds were shared by the northern leaders with the southern collaborators to the detriment of the north. They also have been accused of using boko haram as a veritable source of siphoning funds into their own pockets. The battle against herdsmen is very tasking because northern leaders own cows and a lot of them, especially the Fulanis believe in open grazing and support their people to move around freely. You would wonder why it has become rocket science for such leaders who travel all over the world to embrace ranching, which is the best practice the world over. Why is it so difficult? The answer may not be difficult to get. Fulani herdsmen have lived peacefully in the NC, SS, SE and SW for several years peacefully until the coming of this government. What has emboldened the evil among them to carry out their wickedness? They believe that their tribesman is the president and they can commit crimes and get away. It is an open secret already. Go to Badagry road and hear what the reckless northern okada riders say confidently about their political status. The truth is that the fire is stoked by some of their leaders who have said that the entire lands of the nation belong to them. That should arouse the suspicion of other ethnic nationals, who would therefore want to defend their areas. The actions of some Fulani herdsmen in forcefully possessing lands and killing the owners of the lands further makes the owners of the lands want them to leave. Brig. Gen Buba Marwa as the governor of Lagos state in 1996, got herdsmen off the roads of Lagos, when they had become a thorn in the flesh of Lagosians. Infact he gave a 7 day ultimatum which they hurriedly complied with two days to go. They were ranched and today you can hear of Agege and its abattoir. Have you wondered how AK47s get into the hands of these marauding herdsmen? Why do the so called foreign herdsmen not practice their wicked acts in Niger, Chad, the Republic of Benin, Burkina Faso and Ghana? Our northern leaders must wake up and be sincere. They must stop this act of deception and frontally tackle this menace. We should be free to move around all states and cities of Nigeria as citizens, but there must be respect and decorum. I strongly believe that insurgency and banditry can be tackled and complete victory achieved if the greedy northern leaders refrain from their wickedness. |
JidennaJason:Straight on point. Not only did they call GEJ unprintable names, they stoned him. If you stone PMB, you”ll pay dearly for it. They jail those who call them names. Now Soyinka feels the pain of the error he made. Unfortunately, once again the governors play politics with the menace. Brig. Gen. Marwa, a northerner as a governor, in Lagos chased them away from the streets of Lagos and they remained till date in their present location. |
DesignAndBuild:Amebo. |
garfield1:Bia small boy. What do you know about Delta state? No let me take vex remember you. Who ever rigged out Ogboru? By the way how old you dey sef? |
garfield1:How dem take get am? Even APC agents take mouth tell us say dem no get leg, dem no see road for Delta. |
This may just be forged or faked to give the community or the people a bad name. This list is not as it is sometimes made to look. The cash demanded is already 490k. Other items make the list almost one million. I think something is not right somewhere with the paper. |
LordNonso:Festus who? In Delta politics? How? Where? When? The combination of Omo Agege, Emerhor, Uduaghan, Ochei and Ogboru did move them from Asaba stadium to Total junction, as a distance ooo, not to talk of getting anything. What has changed since then? APC is seriously polarized and lack cohesion. If APC needs a foot stool in Delta, they must first remove Ibori and Okowa. Those two have held Delta by the jugular since 1999. |
Funny how power confuses people. I think Keyamo is very wrong. He cannot even contest council election in Delta state and win. He should just focus on his Abuja connection and remain there. |
Ha! |
Pierocash:Exactly. |
ellajoe:Deservedly so. |
Vardanes2:Thank you very much. You gave the clarification. |
Vardanes2:“More difficult to refine fuel at home”. Having promised us that our refineries would work upon voting him, has he not become a monumental failure? One may ask: if he has been able to obtain loans in billions of dollars to fund the railways, why did he not obtained loans to fix the refineries knowing the importance of that sector to the lives of Nigerians? |
Osagyefo98:That’s the problem with people who are myopic. You falsely assume that what happened in Oyigbo ended in Oyigbo. “It has no impact on others” as you say. You did not consider that Igbos who lost friends and relations in Oyigbo would have reported all that transpired in that area to their relations in the SE and diaspora. You think they will not wait to repay Wike in his own coin? You make it sound so simple! “Others are moving ahead”. Who stopped them from moving ahead. I laugh at people like you who do not know how these things work. “Kanu unleashed young boys to their death...”. And you think the soldiers ordered by Wike killed just the young boys? You think that action would just be swept under the carpet? “Ndi ala”. Maybe you can consider pursuing a career in iyi ala in Yaba left. |
Juliusmalema:As old as you are, you do not know that with what happened to the Igbos in Obiano with the instructions of Wike impacted negatively on his relationship with the east? Just looking at your moniker, you are a MUNTULA. |
They met in Ndjamena. The man after leaving the position, geefully confirmed to the nation what we talk about tribalism, nepotism, etc. Now we see the reason why under this government railway is linking Niger republic. By the way is Ndjamena not in Chad? How come such an office was discussed and finalized in a foreign land? And he was appointed to head our army and made the longest serving chief of army staff. Truly “an attack against boko haram is an attack against the north”. Now he also to continues enjoying the benefit of that “Burma war” relationship as he has been appointed an ambassador. Painfully the northern part of this country has been polluted by politics, religion, selfishness, wickedness of the elite and lack of education. Certain northern leaders hold the south by the jugular enjoying the wealth from the south and refusing the south to go its way. No matter how long we pretend that we are one indivisible country. No matter how we pretentiously claim unity, if we do not tackle the issues that tackle us, we may not remain one for too long. |
How did Wike become the governor? Was it the other governors before him who handled the primaries? He cannot be in charge of his state and at the same time be in charge of the NWC of the party. He must allow the NWC discharge the lawful responsibility. That’s how they end up foistering a bad candidate on the party and costing the party the election. And by the way after his act in Obigbo what has he come to do in Anambra state? He must leave the NWC and the delegates in Anambra state to choose their preferred candidate for the November governorship election please. |
Hugomexis:So Genevieve, Omotola and Funke are no longer whores. Anyway since whoring is great business and brings in tons of money, why don’t you become one? There are male whores too. You see them also on social media displaying their wealth. If e easy no waste time join. Abi you no like that kind Jeep and millions for your account? |
Onyi22:But you don mention mother already na. |
Chamillionaire:Hahahahahahaha. Yes ooooo. That includes women in your home, abi? |
kelvindj98:Chai e pain you die! Owu don counter balance you. See your head like the head of agama lizard! |
Kingsbridge:"I have been and still will be". You? Inside one corner managing your bread and beans. And you think Nigerian entertainers are not well paid? You are definitely too young to know what's happening there. So to you Genevieve, Omotola, Pete Edochie and his sons, Rita, Odunlade Adekola, Jim Iyke, Rita Edochie, etc cannot easily own those cars and many more? By the way why have you allowed owu set you up like this? Dem take am do you? Who be werey here? And you hear of their endorsement deals. Right in your presence dem dey build mansions. You use all they have acquired to entertain yourself. And you think that if they are not at par with their American counterpart in terms of earning, they do not earn enough with all they work so hard to get. You think they are not well paid? So you think all entertainers are not well paid? You do not know that a lot of musicians don't make it too? Come are you sure you are not from Panya in Equitorial Guinea? Wake up from you deep slumber before owu sends you to the land of no return. |
Kingsbridge:Have you ever been to those countries that you mentioned? Even if you have never been there, at least you watch your small TV, you use your small data to read news from the social media. You hear how actors and actresses/entertainers in those countries are paid in multiple millions of dollars/pounds and Euros. You see the houses they purchase and live in. You see the cars they drive. You see the lives they live. Here our entertainers are abused when they make their decent living. They are abused/insulted/derided when you find they live in penury. If she lives her life off some wealthy man, it is her business. How much she's paid concern una? Did she enter into any contractual agreement with you? Have you ever sighted any of her contract papers? Surely you do not expect her as an entertainer to live in poverty. She strives to make it, yet you all abuse her. Do you all not like good things of life? Do you all prefer poverty? Why not strive to get such a car and prove if it is easy. Even aspire to get to her present level, if you can. E easy? But small corolla first 1.3m know to how far. That car cost less than $20k and yet una heart cut. American entertainers purchase cars of $200k and you eulogize them. Dem take owu reasoning swear for all of una sef? Owu don wound all of una come take plaster cover am for una. All these una nonsense make Buhari say Nigerian youths dey lazy. Na people like una cause am. Abbeggii. |
Ogonimilitant:Chai! And you confidently assumed that you wrote good English? In my opinion, since you partially wrote in your mother tongue, you could have done better writing your entire comment in your mother tongue. |
