How can people forget so easily? When PMB was campaigning to become the president, the principal reasons why he was voted were: 1. His intergrity 2. His actions between 31st dec 1985 and aug 1985 as a military head of state 3. His presumed political will as against the "sluggishness" and "foolishness" of GEJ. The result of the days of standing in the sun is a complete opposite of the reasons for voting. Definitely a lot of the young people on nairaland and Nigeria voted PMB on the basis of hearsay. Many are here today lamenting and regretting. Nigeria requires decisive leaders. Nigerians on a lot of occssions need rough handling. Those with some sense, once they get on the streets lose their senses. The ones who travel abroad behave themselves very well there. Once they get back home they run crazy. Wike is exactly the kind of leader Nigerians need. The lockdown in Lagos was heavily defied because the governor was very sympathetic and simple mimded. Today corvid 19 has started spreading faster than imagined in Lagos. Even at that the people do not care. In a few days lockdown will return in full force in Lagos. With Wike's order there will be sanity. As long as you venture out with your car or walk on the streets you risk getting into trouble. Their complain about hunger will be met with seizure and detention. The ignorant will not put the wise into trouble. Wike personifies the Nigerian president visualised in the minds of people before 2015. As long as he keeps performing we should clap for him. As for the follow follow people on nairaland who just join the bandwagon of negative people here, congratulate yourselves. I hope you can carry the same follow follow spirit to Rivers state and dare Gov Wike. Here for those of us who are realist, I say thank you. For Govs Wike and Umahi I say keep up the good works. |
amaniro:Do not forget that you boys stood in the sun for days consecutively, having being bamboozled and mesmerised to vote them in. Unfortunately we are not talking politics here but the home. Stay in course young man. |
Naija4love:Hahahahahahahahah. My brother I tire for you. Have you heard the name MRS. FOLORUNSHO ALAKIJA? She was a fashion designer called Supreme Stitches in the 1980s. Her life was just going jeje until she met General Babangida. The man gave her an oil block and today she is the richest woman in Africa. The woman lifted her husband and the rest is history. You may call her names, but do you know that her marriage has been intact all these years? See with a solid income, your needs are easily met. What you cannot dare give your wife, others are willing to give more than that easily and with joy. As your income increases, expenditure in your home increases and your wife is the home manager. The bottom line is trust your wife, be confident about her and release money to her. Remove fear from your heart about your wife and you'll never regret. |
amaniro:Your threat does not hold water please. Irrespective of where the image or story originated, simply understand the reality of life in that story. The message is very clear to all bro. |
Naija4love:That's where you are making the mistake again. Maybe you are not aware that some men give their wives upkeep of 500k and more monthly. What you are not able to do others do with plenty of ease. |
platido:Because you are the one who made him all the became up till date. Taaaaa gba fuo. Oya run quick find a bricklayer when strong palm and ask am to slap you left and right... iti bolibor. |
Do anyhow you see anyhow. It is not Lagos where lawlessness reigns. Koropes everywhere, Marwa everywhere, market people everywhere complaining about government yet overcharging for their wares. Outside Lagos, especially non APC states you find orderliness and decorum. |
amaniro:Fabricated to you because you are so young and inexperienced to know that such things are real. |
Naija4love:Clearly I get it. Some of you are so young that you will never believe that such a thing is very easy to accomplish by a lot of women. Lesson: Build a very happy and united home and not a polygamous or monogamous home full of battles and mistrust. |
darknez:Oga are you married? If you are not then adk those who are married how they run their homes in peace, understanding, unity and joy. Did the woman mention her husband's salary? She did not neither did she state how much their family upkeep was when the man was working. We did not even hear how many years it took her saving joyfully. Some families are blessed with well paying jobs. That enables their homes express themselves easily and happily. Do you know if the man was giving his wife 200k monthly for their upkeep? The woman saved and built the house joyfully. I have seen two cases like that physically in Lagos and the stories were the same. I know the houses. It takes years to achieve those those things. Many homes cannot achieve this because their perceptions are disjointed. Once again I can confidently tell you that when you are set to marry, get a lady who is very kind to and easy going. Do not frustrate her in the home and do not cheat her. Let her joyfully express herself and do not make her your househelp. I bet you, your life will be more meaningful than you ever thought. |
ValCon888:That's the way you see it. Without religion science is not able to advance. Maybe you are not a student of history. |
Leo3333:You are definitely worse than a zombie. You are a professional and well organised public MUNTULA. |
UjuJoan2:Negative attitudes, comments and perceptions are the major reasons why people live in poverty. If she slept with all the men in Nigeria, that's her business. The truth is she saw the tomorrow her husband could not see. There are many visionary women who have done such and even greater things. Some too are aspiring to be like that. A good wife make success and progress easier for a man. She simplifies life for him If you are not married, pray to have a good wife. "As a man thinketh in his house, so is he". Your thoughts will always limit you. Pray to see good in others so that others can see good in you and move you forward. You just flowed with the stream of comments withouth thinking. It shows you are a "follow follow" person without a mind of your own. You are a well qualified Muntula. |
It appears that APC constantly compares itself with PDP to see if they have either looted more than the PDP or they are approaching the mark. What goes on in government in Nigeria today is no longer a secret. Is it a secret that after all the political mumbo jumbo, open lies by Fashola, electricity is now "rocket science"? Is it a secret that petrol did not revert to N48 following the entrance of the APC government in 2015? Is it a secret that the millions of jobs promised have become millions of sack letters? Is it a secret that the school feeding programme has become a veritable source for looting? Is it a secret that food provided for IDPs are looted and resold by officials of APC? Is it a secret that currently a lot of APC politicians are in jail for looting? Is it a secret that funds made available to tackle covid19 are looted daily by the same APC people in charge? Is it a secret that covid 19 funds are being pursued by some people to fill their personal pockets? By the way is it a secret that Ganduje without delay demanded 15 billion naira from the FG without even making a move in his own state? What happened to other Abacha loots returned to the APC government? We are told that they are used for infrastructure and social development programmes like school feeding, trader moni, etc. Is it then a secret that the funds are re-looted in the names of those programmes? Is it a secret that our military men tackling boko haram are not well funded? APC claimed that PDP embezzled the funds through the office of the NSA. What is happening today? It is only the blind and bewitched who believe that APC can lead this country in the right direction. The plain truth is that using one name or the other this same one will be relooted. Looting is in the DNA of politicians and that is the primary reason for seeking political power in Nigeria. |
By the way must the name always be Abba?
Na only Abba name dey Nigeria? |
Kingrexyl:Except you do not want to deck it. Your 30 million cannot accomplish it. Those who try to paint the picture of "it is possible" are not experienced. Or do you want to build a structure that will collapse and harm people? |
Na wah. When will people believe the reality of corvid 19. The greatest danger posed before everyone is ignorance. We must seriously avoid ignorant people. Those who say "na disease of the Egyptians". |
Who should we believe between the federal government and state governors? FG through Boss Mustafa says it is illegal to deport almajiris. Governors say there is an agreement to deport. Na waoh. |
DexterousOne:He has a case to answer, abi? So the charge sheet is in your hands? You are an EFCC or NDLEA operative? You are a prosecutor or judge, abi? You can safely declare that you are a very honest person, abi? By the way if you meet the man face to face and he hands you some palliatives in form of cash and food - which you surely need now - you will not happily collect? Why do some people choose to play the ostrich (burying it's head in the sand in the name of hiding while it's entire back shows)?. Have you never wondered why he has not been charged to court? Have you not wondered why he confidently made the donations? How many politicians who are far richer than him by looting public funds have publicly made any donation? Have you not noticed that of all the states, Anambra big people have by far provided for their people more than we can find in any other state in Nigeria? Southwesterners and northerners are crying and waiting for government to provide them food as usual. Have you heard any grumbling about food in Anambra state or the entire southeast? Food for thought bro, that's what it is called. Let's commend those who have the big hearts at this trying time to give to others rather than insult them. E no easy bro. By the way how many big men in your community have donated? Where is your community or state sef? Have you personally donated, even if it is water to people around you. Abeg carry your vex keep for one corner and pray for yourself like this: Say spirit of owuite and jealousy in my life, let me go! |
Throwback:Mr. Tatafo. He did drug business with you abi. Is that how you found your evidence, prosecuted and jailed him? Arm chair analyst, contribute your own small "genuine" quota, even if it is one box of Noodles so that people can clap for you. Amebo na bad market. Na you take rub for money put for im hand. See your mouth there like ponmo. By the way, how many "innocent" or "guiltless" big men in your community or your state have sent palliatives to your people? The passion with which you used to monitor this guy, please use it to give us the report about your own community and the big men there. |
Chosen1984:What's it used for? |
Racoon:Never forget the man. He can never change. Believe him at your peril. He once said that his own children had asked why people call him the name L. Monkey go London come back na still monkey. |
SeverusSnape:Please where is Madagascar? Do mad people live there? |
And by the way what is the official figure in Gombe? Is it 7, 10 or 12? Whatever the official figure is please everyone note that the protesters are just part of a whole lot of people who could not come out. Please do the mathematics by yourself and tell us if you will not find more than 10,000 infected in Gombe state. And by the way, did the protesters not contact some uninfected people on the way? Our politicians are truly terrible. |
They MUST pass it. Last year presented an opportunity to vote out APC, yet people stood in the sun to repeat the same error of 2015. Today we have what is called "a rubber stamp legislature". The senate president and the speaker serve the executive having chosen to abdicate their roles, please their party and hold on to the positions. Such is what we see today that Kayode Fayemi and Sanwo Olu publicly declared that our borders should have been closed since february instead of March 27th. By then corivd 19 had enterred our unprepared country...the rest is now history. These two men are serving APC governors. Truly APC is full of confusion. I do not know if this APC government knows what leadership is talk more of leadership responsibilities. Foolishly some PDP members in the house support the passage of the bill, adding flesh to the accusation that they were all bribed. Is PDP not the opposition in the house anymore? Or is Kola Ologbondiya the only opposition voice in the PDP? They should go ahead and pass it but bear in mind that their families and friends will fall under the law. |
Hopefully it will be affordable. |
The fallout will be the rapid increase and spread of the virus. May I ask if truly Nigerian political leaders are not playing politics and pranks with this virus? With stories of embezzlement of funds where is the will to tackle it effectively. Lockdown has not worked nationwide as government totally failed with enforcement. |
And what would have happened if they claimed the money was not found in America after 22 years. If it was the other way round would Nigeria have claimed to see the money? |
hansomb:Your foolishness and illiteracy is legendary. I believe it runs in your family. Muntula. |
Very hypocritical comment by Mustapha. They complain when it affects their people. He should please tell us which in which of the interstate roads the lockdown is effective. The policemen collect bribes and let vehicles move on. When buses charge passengers they include bribes to policemen they meet on the roads, thereby ramping up the costs of transportation. Buses charge 15,000 - 17,000 to Onitsha as against 4,000 - 6,000 before lockdown. Can Mustapha claim that he is not aware? Abeg make we hear something. They failed to lockup international borders early and still have failed to monitor state lockdowns in the country. Sanwo Olu and Fayemi even agreed that the federal govt. controlled by their party failed to shut the airports early. When we talk about APC dem go say we don start. Next na who to arrest nd detain. |
Drosonogasta:That can only happen if everyone uses their voters cards with sense. No be this one when everybody dey vote for dem like people when dem take juju hold. |
MrPaul2:And who should do the job if people like you show cowardice in the face of such danger? |
