Fabulouzjoseph:If you found yourself in the position of that woman losing money to unscrupulous staff, how will you feel not been informed? What if it is your business? Will you expect the one with the infornation to keep quiet? Why play the proverbial ostrich because the business is not yours? The worst thing you can do in this circumstance is hypocrisy...watching your company, the owner and few honest staff because of a few irresponsible men and women. |
If Imo people "overwhelmingly voted" for him, why did he get to the supreme court? What happened to the votes of Ihedioha and others if he was overwhelmingly voted for? Did the whole Imo state for Uzodimma? All those otimkpu Ezes in different streets called autonomous communities should jeje collect their chop money and stay out of politics. |
After criticizing, mocking, making yeye, a lot of people will dress that way. We have seen many dressed like that...wetin new there? |
Why do people from this particular region of Nigeria always specialize in and love money rituals? I no want to mention the name of the region but na six states dey inside the region. Everywhere ritualists. On the road, inside buses, kabukabu, moshalashi, ile ijo, no where is safe. How can a normal person trade in human parts like normal commodities? Dem take am do una sef? |
Jacqueline22:Greed and chop alone. My question now is what will happen to the individual families of the two people. Will that not be generational enmity? Do you see one of the roots of generational curses? |
I think OP has not given us enough insight into the life and times of security guards. We find security guards in banks and eatries who are very proud of their jobs and always happy. Aside from being called illiterates and beggars what other experiences did you have? Compared to others did they have.similar, worse or better experiences? Which organisation(s) did you work with? What else did you feel negatively? Were there no happy moments? This will help those who are either experiencing it presently or may experience it know what it feels like and better handle the situations they find themselves in. Anything short of that I take it that OP just did a write up based on hearsay of one person and not his personal experience. |
Tonylyte:It depends on the school(s). Federal and state governments pay. Big private schools pay. Small private schools where graduates beg to get jobs and be paid 7000 - 15,000 monthly are those affected. Those who proprietors practice pay as you go. Please look for ways out like PP, etc. |
JohnnyBlack101:Your name must be Bros Sincerely Sorry! |
fiizznation:Have you not heard the words "once bitten twice shy"? or "who feels it knows it"? Have you been infected before? The man has been infected and he knows what it is. As the governor of the state he feels it very necessary to take steps to protect Kaduna people. He does not play politics with it like Ganduje. We need to appreciate effective leaders like this bro. |
Testing is very slow and hard to come by. In a population of over 300 million people only less than 40,000 have been tested. Many are on queues waiting with the shakara stories of the health officials that we hear everyday. Government too says testing equipments are not enough. Those in Isolation centers complain. Sadly certain people in government have been accused of embezzling funds meant for corvid 19. People do not trust government. Government failed in a lot of areas. Now they accuse people of home based treatment. Do you expect people to either just sit at home without treating themselves or go and to test centers without getting tested? How is it that suddenly many are dying of home based treatment? Is this not an indication that the daily reports of NCDC are not correct? Please government get more serious with us. |
thundafire:He is not. They work hand in hand. The minister surely is aware of this. The issue is that the minister gets his cut underground. The perm sec signs and carries the load on his head. |
Osidazz19:See you. I guessed your name correctly. Definitely you are either Igbo/Ishan/Benin. You no pass those areas. Have a great day! |
Osidazz19:Abeg Osita or Osezuwa or Osimeno who is your president between Trump and Buhari? When did Trump become the president of a Nigerian? |
PigTormentor:A loser, yet he won the election and is the American president. If I slap you now dem go say na because I senior you. |
Hoephase:You no see? Americans dey live life dey go we dey here dey watch and criticise like spectators. Even with the lockdown compare their palliatives with Nigerian palliatives. |
Osidazz19:Abeg bros what has Trump done to you? America Na your country? Na your president? E deny you visa? Abi e deny you stay? Abeg face your own here. Abeg. |
Exc2000:They say "at all at all na him bad". How can the man keep shut when his people drop dead on the streets daily? An effort is better than nothing. Even doctors are confused. |
Osidazz19:Remove the speck in your eye first before removing the ones in other people. First talk about your own president and a better life for Nigerians before judging the Americans whose country is called God's own and you people sleep at the embassy, beg, do all crazy things to get the visa and permanently relocate for better life. Fix your own country first bro. |
Exc2000:Whichever way you look at it, the man is simply being honest. Whether he has it or not he wants his people to not just sit down and wait for the virus to catch up with them without putting up a fight. Right in his presence over 90,000 of his people have died in less than 3 months. They say "prevention is better than cure". If this is his effort at prevention let his faith work for him. He has been in the frontline all these while and remember that vaccines will take a while to get ready Look at our own here. It took ages to convince him to address us. Even at that our coordination is very poor. |
Very unfortunately there are many phases to this Nigeria/Ghana problem. Our youths have not helped matters with their irresponsible attitudes world wide. The youths claim that the country is bad and the leaders are crooked. When the venture out of the country many get involved with terrible crimes. Two Nigerians walked into a bureau de change in New Delhi, India, robbed and strangled the owner. For over one month innocent Nigerians suffered all over India. They spoil the image of the country, damage the chances of other Nigerians and get jailed. They exhibit their poor mannerisms right from MMA to the aircrafts and on arrival at the country of destination. The leaders have made the country unhabitable with their greed and penchant for looting. Job opportunities get more difficult by the day. Infrastructures are poor, etc. There are millions of Ghanaians and other West African nationals resident in Nigeria without harrassment. Many years ago the accusations against Ghanaian men and women in Nigeria centered around crime and prostitution for which they were repatriated. A lot of Ghanaians held Nigerian passports. When they committed crimes in other countries, they claimed to be Nigerians. The truth is that Nigerians are show off people, both old and young whereever they are. They make plenty of noise and this easily gives them away. Ghanaians since they got repatriated started developing dislike for Nigerians, especially as their economy started getting better and with better infrastructure. If only the Nigerian leadership can wake up. Nigeria is a gifted country and I believe in Nigeria. No matter how much they try Ghanaians will always play second fiddle. Our youths truly need to conduct themselves with dignity worldwide. They are always the architects of their own problems. |
5% of the population of between 30 million to 50 million to be tested in two months while China intends to test 10 million of the population in two weeks. Na wah! |
tempest01:You do not seem to understand how the airlines work. First they must have enough aircrafts to apply the routes; they must have the choice routes; they must have permits. All aircrafts, whether commercial or private get clearance from the host countries to fly across and also to land. Even if Airpeace does not have permit to land at any of the airports in Canada, they can easily get it and apply their aircrafts there. I believe that Airpeace would have either applied or received all the necessary landing rights. Our own na our own. Please let's all support Airpeace. Cheers man. |
tempest01:Did you read the whole thing at all? Did you not read that Airpeace had landed in Canada before? Without permits how did Airpeace land in Canada? The truth is that the Nigerian leadership problems keep growing daily. Nigeria does not have a national carrier. Funds have been looted in the name of a national carrier. Of all the airlines operating in this country Airpeace seems to be far ahead. Unfortunately politics, tribalism, bickerings, etc will not allow this airline achieve its potential. Do not be surprised that someone somewhere has been sabotaging the efforts. Maybe someone has demanded something that he has not been given and that same person has made himself the stumbling block. Again you and I are not in the airline industry and we may not know much about landing permits. But I think it is very safe to say that Airpeace management, seeing that they are fast growing would have been trying to get all the needed clearances to major cities in the world. Also do not allow your expectations to be too high for now. Airpeace cannot be compared to Emirates and other major airlines that have many aircrafts. I believe that with time they will arrive there. The Canadian government must give clearance to Airpeace to evacuate our citizens there. Ethiopia cannot all Airpeace evacuate Ethiopian citizens anywhere in the world. Remember to give honour to whom honour is due. In this case Airpeace. If not for them Nigeria and Nigerians would be facing the shame of not having a national airline. Airpeace serves as our national airline for now. Please bros erase negatives from your mind and support our airline. |
StubbornGENIUS:Without doubt you are very correct. Get a 3ply mask and cut it open from the side. You will find the filter right in the middle. The same goes for N95 and KN95. Nigerians take undue advantage of certain situations to make money. That way they make mockery of the situations. There is no way clothes can work as filters. I got one clothes mask a few days ago after the lady boasted of how it was sewed by her and her husband. She said it had a filter right in the middle but it turned out to be a complete lie. With that mask it was very difficult to breath. The material form was like jeans and then the lining behind it made it look nice. She sold it for N200. Some tailors even sell for N50. Government needs to let people know that masks made of clothes do not make sense. Now we are told not having a mask on is riskier. I sincerely hope our people can wake up from their deep slumber. The aforementioned masks are very effective and comfortable to use. Some pharmacies sell for as low as N200. Cheers. |
A plate of food for 3,600? Wetin sef? No be Nigeria we dey? Abi na Sheraton or Eko hotel dem dey stay? Abeg some evacuees have been stranded in those countries for ages and have been looking for ways to go home. Some do not even have money for food where the are. I met some on trips to China, Malaysia, India and S. Korea. Some even ask for the equivalent of N300. Please does it mean that they cannot take advantage of the opportunity to come back home? Can government not get food vendors for N500 each x 3? Can a hussler pay 3,600 x 3 for 16 days? E kuku die for foreign land! Or is the FG using this returnees matter to award contract to some among them? This government condition is tough o. |
Partial normalcy should restore in a few days. |
NairaMaster1:Prostitution in a lot of cases does not arise from poverty. Some can be forced. Some children from wealthy homes are involved in it too. You may check that too. Cheers. |
YusufTheGreat:OK sir. Have you eaten today? You sound hungry. |
bamidelee:Surely I do not need to quote you as you are very foolish. |
So the governor took the drastic action to deal with the drastic situation. Wike destroyed the hotels because the owners flouted the executive orders. Immigration sacked the ladies because of their appearances in the video. In the end workers either lost their means of livelihood or got transferred to remote areas. People chose to crucify Wike. Are they not all similar? |
bamidelee:And your sense did not let you read the first line of my comment where I said "he who pays the piper dictates the tune"? Your common sense did not let you realise that I understood the organization's side of the story? By the way have you checked if there is anywhere in their job ethics that stops them from earning income outside their profession? Have you not seen artists doing shows or videos in police or army uniforms? Who told you that the same members of the panel that disciplined them do not have other thriving businesses apart from their jobs? By the way is what they did not better than looting the treasury, which the ogas do easily daily? Is it not better than extorting passport seekers of their money? Where is the common sense in your remark? And what makes you think you can be a good manager when you hastily jump to conclusions in this manner? |
He who pays the piper dictates the tune...as they say. After people here will say Wike is wicked. Imagine sending that one to Borno with this lockdown. Who is more wicked between Wike and the immigration? |
