Good response from the governor. |
Sunshineg5:Even at that I think you should not generalise your comment like you did. I could be offensive to others who are innocent. |
Sunshineg5:What has Anambra state got to do with it? You made a good response to his comment and ended it with your last sentence which I term reckless and tribalistic. Mind your words sometimes please. |
A very pathetic story indeed. It was a very unfortunate and irresponsible act on the part of her mother and husband. I think she would also have been enduring adultery by her husband. It was a very reprehensible act by the offending two. Having sex on the lady's matrimonial bed added insult to injury. Anger led her to stab her mother to death. Quite painful as it was the lady would serve some time in prison. The big fool of a husband would walk around freely. Hopefully he gets his own punishment for his home destroying act. |
What did the governor expect? Was the so called lockdown obeyed by the people or enforced by government? Why does government try to play the ostrich sometimes? We expect people to flood the streets. I think government simply plays politics with this corvid 19 matters. Maybe with a wider spread, some people can make plenty of money for themselves. The simple truth is that lockdown should extend for the sake of all. |
aminusodiq:Abi? But why don't you take the bold step of faith and slap a policeman/woman. That way you can earn the qualification to talk with me. If you cannot, then you - who recognised rubbish in my previous comment - are rubbish. |
Damntruth:See your head like agama lizard head. Muntula. |
OrestesDante:Maybe you are not aware that police personnel are assaulted everyday by people who think police people are nothing. Armed robbers shoot police people at sight. That uniform makes the targets daily. That does not erase the fact that there are irresponsible ones among them. Would that lady have slapped a SARS officer in that manner, even if the officer slapped her first? You and I know that she would have signed her death warrant instantly. |
Jostoman:Arrest? I am very sure the lady was arrested immediately. By now she would have received some brain resetting slaps. By tomorrow morning she"ll appear before a magistrate and by afternoon she"ll be cooling off for a few days in prison. After her encounter in the prison, she"ll see police people and personally conduct herself properly. |
SLAP44:Any sending of almajiris from any state in the south is northically no(r)t(h) possible. No be today we sabi the story. |
sweetmelanin:My response to your questions: 1. A college dropout, yet by God's grace the richest man on earth. "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, bread.to the wise, time and chance happened to all". You may ask why do all nations have professors and others with big degrees, Gates is the richest. They all apply for jobs in his organisations. 2. He has seen an opportunity or an opening. If he uses his wealth to find a solution, he makes more money. God gave him a creative idea. That's how Microsoft which has - benefitted humanity - became a reality. 3. Capitalism, that's one of thr fallouts. Accountability ensures that he gets returns on his investment. Brother for a visionary man/woman everything definitely is made easy. |
masterP042:That's definitely not a correct assertion bro. Dangote started his tomato puree importation business in the late 70s while the Nigerian national supply company (with warehouses in Iyana Isolo and Ikorodu) and other private companies were importing ship loads of rice and what were termed "esssential commodities" into the country. Corruption led to the closure of the then NNSC and Babangida in 1985 stopped what was called open general import using form "m" by the CBN and introducing the import license regime. It was a policy designed to curtail importation of rice and other essential commodities like milk, sugar, cement, flour and tyres. Import license was hijacked by certain high and mighty military men and politicians. Infact a lot of people became rich selling import licenses. You can check that. Connections with the military and policy changes threw up people like Dangote and Mike Adenuga in the late 80s. Retired Major General Alani Akinrinade's son led Adenuga to Babangida, who developed friendship and trust with Adenuga in 1979 - 1980. That friendship with Badangida got military contracts for Adenuga, building military barracks, and plenty of money. Adenuga was able in the late 80s to acquire the defunct national bank with his money and the rest became history. All these are open secrets bro. Sorry I digressed there. Nobody knew the name Dangote as his maternal name Dantata was the known name. We started hearing his name in the 90s as his connections with the military became stronger. Obasanjo might have given him some priviledges, but come to think about it, with money in your hands and connections, you can get power and make more wealth. That's what he did just like others. Adenuga and Alakija (supreme stitches with Babangida) had certain priviledges too just like Igbo names like Prince Arthur Eze and Orji Uzor Kalu. Babangida and Abacha were the keys used by those men to open the doors of wealth and not Obasanjo. The same went with Emeka Ofor who rose to wealth using his connection with the late Abacha's also late first son, Danjuma. Those who kept away from political offices became wealthier while those who got political offices had their fingers burnt. Nnamdi Kanu just exposed himself as a very bad student of Nigerian history. His desire to make wealth and fame for himself has blinded him to the truth about Dangote and other prominent Nigerian businessmen. Cheers baba. |
festacman:Don't forget to add that he is working hard using IPOB as his launching pad to his own billions. He is a typical case of "the pot calling the kettle black". |
IamCookie:No. The report would have been implemented if GEJ won the 2015 election. The question you should ask why did it take this long for this government to implement it too? Government is a continuum as they say. Truthfully GEJ had great policies drawn up but politics by this APC government continues to be a barrier towards the implementation of the policies. How many policies have APC government drawn up how much more implement them? |
Rubbish. That best describes what goes in sometimes in the office of the president. It stands to reason that the president has no control over decisions in the presidency. All he does is come out in public and read speeches drafted by proxies in power. Should such an important issue find its way into the hands of someone else if the president truly has control over what happens in the presidency? It shows clearly that the president always depended on the late Kyari to take decisions in state matters. Arresting whoever is just a cover up. It does not make any sense as we can all see what happens in this APC led government. Everything simply goes wrong when we think things should be going right. |
Here we are on nairaland with many hypocrites condemning Ganduje. At the beginning of the lockdown many were at the neck of Buhari criticising his failure to shut down borders early - which most of us agreed with - but they failed to understand the need for the sit at home. Now we hear the virus is spreading and the same people are here shamelessly accusing Ganduje of wanting to cause some havoc with the lifting of the lockdown. Truly a lot of people here should just bow their faces in shame. When you criticise government, it has to be objective, meaningful and very beneficial. You do not do "kick and follow" or comment without ideas because you have the space. Cheers to everyone who has been very objective throughout this period. |
Yenefer:Your head like agama lizard head. Muntula. |
So deportations are only arranged for northern states? Or we can call it inter northern states deportation. Deportation between northern and southern states is illegal abi. What about the so called almajiris deported from the north to the south east the other day? It is legal abi. Na wa! |
Afospecialk:How can you be watching with eagle eyes when you no be eagle or bird? Better watch with monkey eye or palmwine tapper eyes. Na dem dey hang on top tree see road well well. |
ignis:Very uninformed comment. |
toprealman:Your own deserves more than a first class degree. Muntula. |
JasonJidenna:God bless you too. |
totit:Since you are part of the owners, please relocate there to.validate your ownership. |
Abeg is he now a prophet? |
Do they have local travel passports? Or how are they identified? Abi aboki no be the same aboki again? |
PureFace1:I noticed your comment and responded on the basis of your generalised and uncharitable words. I think you should learn not to be abusive or rude to just anyone you meet on social media sites, irrespective of what your thoughts and feelings are. You comments may not be true reflections of issues. Telling you certain things about your conduct in social media spaces should make you sober and respectful to others. I do not know if you are a Yoruba person, but I just feel you are. I have uncountable Yoruba friends who are sociable, honorable and respectable. We respect each other and have visited each others communities. I speak Yoruba very fluently, having being and brought up Mushin and you'd never know that I am not a Yoruba person. I am not a hypocrite but a very honest person who simply read your derogatory comments and encouraged you to change. Hopefully you are not a hypocrite too, otherwise your position as I already mentioned in my previous comment will cut you off very healthy relationships with Igbos that can positively promote your life. |
PureFace1:How do you define barren and curse? Igbo lands are lush and green. If lands are flowing with milk and honey The people are very hardworking and productive; The people are able to spread nationally and internationally, possessing massive lands and properties in their respective locations. The people have developed massive industries (many names are known to you) of their own and contributing to national growth. Women from other tribes (especially Yoruba) beg to marry Igbo men/associate with them or learn trades from them, how are Igbos cursed and their lands barren? There must be limits and ends hatred, jealousy and abuses. I sincerely hope that you can wipe that pettiness off your heart so you don't keep on suffering loses from relationships which you would have had with Igbos that could have moved you forward beyond where you presently are today. Cheers. |
Susu888:Where were you when northern governors refused to lockdown? Where were you when some youths burnt down police stations and killed because of lockdown? Where were you when nothern governors were delaying over corvid 19? Where were you when Nassarawa state governors bought cars for vehicles for members of the house of reps instead of ventilators? Where were you when the governor of Lagos started moving fast and setting up all the equipments to tackle corvid 19 ahead of other governors? Where were you when PMB last week released more funds to Katsina and the north than the southern states? Bauchi governor experienced corvid 19 and on getting out attended jumat prayer with a very large crowd inside the mosque. Who did he deceive? Southerners or blind followers who think corvid 19 is either a joke or political matter? Ganduje claims there are no test kits and covers up the unfortunate loss of lives in Kano. Dangote gave him a 600 bed facility added to all the federal government has released to Kano, yet deception continues there. How much has been given to Rivers state? Have you not heard Wike screaming? Why do you pretend as if the reality of the national political imbalance is not there for you and all to see? I think you are not just the mugu but a well organised MUNTULA! |
Iamgrey5:No mind them. Abeg person wey like for Abijo, Sangotedo, Badore, infact along that stretch na Lekki e dey? Kuku talk true say those people and Epe, Ikorodu and Ijebu ode na the same area. Their forming too much abeg. |
OjaTiBurst:You never get toothache. If you have toothache, you will find yourself begging the affected tooth to forgive you for delaying with extraction. No pain killer can stop toothache permanently. |
Tajbol4splend:Do you know what OP is talking about at all? Longrich ko shortrich ni. |
Toothache? Very terrible pain when one has it. If your dentist has charged 30k kindly pay and get them off. Other dentists may charge close to that or more. Some dentists too are not too professional. Just dental implants can cost you over 150k for each tooth. I do not see escapes routes with dental problems when they have to do with extractions. Some people suggest herbal portions but honestly in the end they fail. You return below square one. |
