The greatest losers are suffering Nigerians in all these. We should think about this as we go about electing these politicians. We should not get carried away by names and sentiments. Buhari has arrested practically everyone in the PDP who as they say stole public funds to run the 2015 election. So far he has not told us how he funded his election enough to remove Jonathan. The governors have not told us either. In Ekiti we saw Fayemi/APC spending significantly more than Fayose/PDP to win the governorship. Who will probe his financial sources for now? How did Tinubu come about such stupendous wealth when he did not have any factory anywhere before 1999? The trend will follow this month in Osun state with money and security people playing significant roles. Suffering Nigerians have been bamboozled into accepting tokens to vote the wrong people into seats. When they win they impose more yokes to enable them meet up with personal/party financial requirements. We are to learn how to hold leadership accountable otherwise the destiny of the next generation is in trouble. They drive around in massive jeeps yet the roads leading to their homes are very useless. They drink bottled water yet millions of Nigerians do not have quality water. Buhari has spent every opportunity travelling to fix his health yet we do not have good health facilities in Nigeria. He promised to end medical tourism yet he is the president who has applied it much more than the previous ones. Buhari is the face of APC. All you need to do in the north is shout sai baba as a symbol of your membership and then get elected. The contestants have no name of their own. These people should be voted out. I think we should forget political affiliations and just vote the right persons who will move us to the next level. For the 2019 election now there is a balance of power. APC has state power and money as evidenced in Ekiti. PDP has plenty of money left for the election. Both parties should be booted out because they are both birds of the same feather.

Friends I can we need to carefully look at Delta politics as we speculate on the political landscape there. I think APC is just a growing party in the state and will not be ready until after 2023. The political alignments and realignments are simply for the selfish benefits of the losing politicians. Delta state is traditionally a PDP state and will be very hard to defeat by any other party for now. Ogboru has always been on the wrong side for which reason he has not become governor. The Ijaws expect PDP to reward them in 2023 with a shot at governorship in 2023 and for which reason they will vote in block for PDP. People seem to erroneously believe that the political influence of Ibori has been reduced. As long as he is there it is very difficult for any political contestant of Urhobo/Isoko speaking people to win any senatorial or house seat outside the PDP. Uduaghan cannot defeat James Manager in Delta south. He could not do it as a seating governor and now it is too late. Ojuogbo/Utomi cannot defeat Okowa in Delta north. Okowa is a grassroots politician and a great mobilizer. Delta central still very largely is PDP territory in spite of the defections. Do not be surprised that a lot of APC agents will work for PDP in the polling units during the election. For me irrespective of party affiliation, I think we should vote in candidates we can apply the vast resources in our great state to move us forward. Nigerians are to be discouraged from selling their birth rights by accepting bribes of 2000 - 4000 naira from contestants. Money will play a massive role in swaying the votes of people. Politicians are amassing too much money now since they now know that they can give their agents money at the polling booths to "sort out". Nigerians need to rise up against such issues. APC does not know what democracy is. PDP cannot change. What we still have revolving around is "old wine in new skins".

But the defections from APC have been more profound. Not only have people decamped from APC to PDP, they have gone to ADC from APC. Now ADC has 118 both in the federal assembly and the state assembly. Actually ADC and PDP combined have decapitated APC in Oyo and Osun states. Come to think of it, APC will lose more especially arising from the direct/indirect primaries matter. In Imo state already Ararume/Izunaso decamped to APGA. Ararume wants to be governor. Uzodimma is stuck as he will have Okorocha to contend with over his seat. He decamped from PDP to APC. Shehu Sani is stuck as El Rufai wants to get him out. If he does not decamp now, he will not return to the senate. There are many cases like that. Expect both parties to lose greedy people. In Bauchi and Sokoto states we see also the rising profile of Green party. God needs to help this nation purge itself from greedy and wicked leaders.

Did he kneel before the Olu during his 8 years as governor? Clearly now it can be seen that his reason for leaving PDP is his personal ambition and his pocket. If during his 8 years as governor he could not achieve anything with the huge resources at his disposal for the people of his senatorial zone, what can he achieve.as a senator. He is a long forgotten man who has two items in his mind. It is either he secures the senatoriak seat or he gets a federal appointment eventually. The question still remains "how can Uduaghan defeat James Manager"? Okowa will even defeat him in his senatorial zone. His stinginess is legendary. Does he now suddenly have money to spend? Let's watch and see!

A lot of you APC people decamped from PDP either out of greed or frustration, but simply put you lost your positions. Which of you then is the better option? You are in the APC for self aggrandisement and not to help society get better. You are the ones to bow your faces in shame. In 8 years as the governor of Delta state kindly tell us Uduaghan's record of achievements. The most visible things he did was installing giant tv screens certain areas and buying diesel to run street lights. Abeg go and rest. Your man has enterred into political oblivion in Delta state.

Thank God they did not say beans and bread/Ijebu garri or akpu with okazi/oha or gbegiri/ewedu combined with orisirisi inside or akara with ogi or stew made with soft turkey + chicken and rice or garri with egusi soup well prepared with cow leg + stock fish + dried fish. How does it stop or help her lose or win the election? If she has the right qualification and she is accepted by her party and the people of that senatorial zone e never finish? I think Itse Sagay should be ashamed of himself. The man seems always to talk without looking honestly and critically at matters. As chairman or so of PACAC, if he does not understand all about corruption or see loopholes in the battle against corruption he should simply go home and rest. The indirect primaries chosen by the governors entails getting delegates to vote in favour their preferred candidates who usually are corrupt. Delegates are just a small fraction of the entire members of the party and they are mostly controlled by governors. It is fraught with corruption as delegates simply receive bribe and vote in the highest spender/worst candidate. Court cases then arise enabling yeye people like Sagay make tons of money. The direct primary simply entails all contestants queing up and ALL MEMBERS of the party voting for the most qualified among them. A sort of option A4. Those who do not accept it like Sagay and Okorocha have sinister plans. Oshiomole I agree has his own shortcomings but this is in the constitution of APC. This way non performing leaders with their ill gotten wealth will be shown the way out. I think all parties should adopt it as it is also a method to deepen our democracy. The major challenge with our country is that those who know how to move us to the next level are not in power. This country is in a lot of trouble as long as people like Sagay continue to see the truth and deny it. His statement shows that he wants to hold on to power at the cost of the interest of the people.

The noise maker Omo Agege will not return to senate in 2019 as PDP will take over his seat. The long and short of the story is that Delta state is completely a PDP state.
