While I agree with most of what you say, I do not agree that the solution is just having a strong leader. The people need to change their mindset. The average Nigerian is motivated by money not national interest. This is the reason there is so much corruption in the land. All these corrupt people are never challenged. They get the front seats in church, the high table in social events. They are celebrated in the media. Why would corruption not thrive in such an environment? You will see somebody who had only 1 car before getting a govt appointment, suddenly has 5 cars and people will be celebrating such a person.

I think we have the same points. The citizens are as good as their leaders. Terrible people, terrible leaders. However power is an instrument of change. If leadership cannot use power to cause society to be better, then there is a deep rooted problem.

In all leadership must be strong. Look at present great nations. They had strong leaders. When leaders are strong.

Farms will no longer be like that.

Unfortunately herdsmen hid under the cover of Buhari’s government to perpetrate evil all over the nation. Now large swaths of lands have been taken over by herdsmen, terrorists, bandits and kidnappers. Farmers cannot confidently keep such sizes of lands without fear of being visited by those evil people.

In all, it falls on government. It is the responsibility of government to provide security for all. Unfortunately Nigeria has suffered from nonchalant leaders. Leaders whose only ambition is to enrich themselves with public funds. Hopefully one day Nigerians will be free from them all and have a working country.

It was an open secret that all the refineries were sources of uncontrollable looting. It was an open secret that TAM was an avenue to reap the nation off. It was an open secret that the systematic destruction of the refineries involved persons in position of power and staff.

Nigeria needs a strong and determined leader for things to work. We need a leader with a very strong will to move the nation forward. Unfortunately corruption has gotten the better part of the leadership and the people support corrupt leaders to continue with their corrupt ways.

For me I think that should force bus drivers to cut down prices on that route.

Again the competition is too one sided. Do not forget that drivers on that route have the challenge of area boys and union, who forcefully get what they want. How can drivers cope?

Going from Okoko to Marina should cost about 800 or more. Will that competition not chase them out of business?

Now that it's so expensive driving personal cars, hopefully this can help a long way to reduce the difficulties experienced by Lagosians.

Oga check the date on the screenshot I posted. Election was in 2023 and NOT (2018 or 2022). Desmond had been donating transformers steadily prior to 2023. He donated 5 in 2022, and 8 in 2023.

In 4 years, he had probably donated more than 20 transformers but Obidients ganged up against him because of LP top to bottom.
