The silence of the presidency on the issue says a lot. They will be very reluctant to extradite Abba. However, circumstances are different for all mentioned. With MNK and Igboho's case still very hot, it will be a tricky diplomatic situation for Nigerian government. Aside that, buying military weapons for fight against insurgents is another weighty issue. All in all, if Abba is ever released to the U.S, then it would be on the platter of international politicking and not cos its the best option opened to the Nigerian Government. |
Astra101:True |
positivelord:In the short term, your observation may be true but what about in the medium and long term? If you check out all the listed countries, Islamic insurgency thrives in most of them, except for Ethiopia experiencing an ethnic war. When farmers are prevented from farming, the yields keep going down. That coupled with low buying power of the majority of people makes things difficult. If the situation is sustained for 10 to 25 years, acute shortage should be the result. |
He can laugh while he's got the chance to. He can lie, he can make mockery of his indictment, he can make bold face but the only thing he can't do is to travel anyhow. His sojourn round the globe as the 'Nigerian Supercop' stops. Just wondering - If FBI really needs this guy, why not just hush things up and wait for him to leave the country so they can bundle him over to the U.S. just like Nigeria did to MNK. |
How did a Japanese family - Alberto Fujimori and Keiko Fujimori Higuchi - get to be Presidential stakeholders in Peru, a South-American country? So it is not only Africa that is under siege from these global powers. |
La answer, la faint. |
mocey:Okay ooo. I wish everyone in this ugly contraption the very best. |
Let B - Biafra Republic, O - Oduduwa Republic, N D- Niger Delta Republic come together to form the BOND Federations, adopting the government style like the of Switzerland where the Presidential Council is constituted from the federating units rather a centralized presidency, a de jure president is chosen by rotation every year from the collegiate of Presidential Council and all major decisions are subjected to referenda. That is a good way of redressing the ills of the Berlin Conference of 1884/1885, do away with the demonic Fulanis and maintain a balance in a society with a huge diversity in culture, language and religion. |
I think re-writing her second semester final year exam should be enough to expose her folly. Every exam since 200L is an overkill. She must have learnt her lesson. In these days of social media, you should be extremely careful of the digital footprints you leave or the tiniest of info can be used against you. |
Reading through comments from Le Clerc and Alonso plus the rules of the game and antecedents, I guess Hamilton did what he had to do to win. Racist criticism won't change anything. |
If Daddy Freeze was a Muslim residing in Northern Nigeria, for dissenting to mainstream ideological Christian beliefs, he would have been jailed a thousand times. Islam, as practiced in Northern Nigeria, has no chill at all. You try to use your brain independently, you get slammed. Since you knew what you were getting into before starting, i'll say 'bye for now' to Abduljabar. |
donmixc:How i wish Northerners are contributing just as much to the nation building and have substantial achievements to brag about more often. Healthy rivalry may push the country farther. |
You didn't receive any notification from FIRS?! We are Nigerians and we know how it works around here. You are thieves hoping to outsmart bigger thieves but it backfired. Last, last, you're all thieves |
bukxy:You are right. I know someone who wrote for 3 consecutive years just to test his capability. He tried out different combinations including; physics, chemistry, biology, then Maths, Government, Economics and then Literature, CRS, Government, reading for only one week before each exam. He scored 295, 303 and 272 respectively. The 272 is this year score. This points to the fact that most candidates may not be preparing well enough. |
Good news is good, bad news is better and sensational news is the best......to pressmen. This is a sensational plot and the press guys are going to cash in big from this. Let's just chill for confirmation. However, if it some creative writing by someone, he should be careful because you don't do a thing like this with a case before the law court. |
Nice narrative. I don't know if you are just being creative or writing from an informed perspective. If this is creative thinking, i must admit you've got the shine but if its from an informed perspective, then the press is going to be the winner in all of this. Good news is good, bad news is better but sensational news is always the best. Your narrative is sure sensational. |
We all noticed the change. A president that addressed the citizens just about 4 times in 6 years suddenly giving 3 addresses and 2 public outings in 1 week! There is something the social media, led by twitter, is doing right. The dot in the circle is suddenly becoming the final dot to make the circle a complete ring. So much for the smartness of the 'cabal'. |
Goslame Shithole......that says it all. Only trash can come from her. |
While some are hustling in schools, these ones are hustling with rifles and they are telling us one Nigeria is the only way plus there is one dot inside a useless circle! Excuse us if we don't believe you Mr Buhari, Barrister Mallami and Chief Liar Mohammed. The evidences building against your narratives on daily basis are just overwhelming. |
Still not making sense. You are not against the use of Twitter but against those that facilitates the use of Twitter. Are you saying you after VPN creators, service providers, phone makers or software engineers that help install VPN for Twitter use? AGF Malami should be 'amply clear' about who his new law is after exactly. There shouldn't be any ambiguity in your hurriedly enacted law. |
I saw a movie named "Brian Banks" recently. The "dot in a circle or dot on the line of a circle" analogy was used. The illustrator, a character played by Morgan Freeman, stated clearly that being a dot in the circle is not the problem but learning to be mentally free of the constraints posed by the circle is the important thing. Biafra or not, I think these Igbo guys will keep thriving cos they have the mental will to. |
Normal something. Rich or poor, celebs or every day people, we are all humans. They are just doing what humans do. |
Don't be mad at them. They know that in this country, graduating from school is not exactly a ticket to employment or successful life. Just go and hustle and make a success of your life. They will line up to congratulate you. Best of luck. |
Amotolongbo:It's a sport and like every sport, it's a show with aim of entertaining. Talking to the media is part of the total package. It's a huge value chain sector for generating revenue in the industry. Mourinho is bigger than most other coaches because of what he does for the media/press. I feel for Naomi. Since 2018, there has been pressure of choosing country, the "whitewashing saga" by the Australian journalists and much more. Some people are not wired for the charade. They just want to play and enjoy sport. |
The girl, her family, their culture....their own things. Good or bad, as long as whatever they do doesn't affect you in any way, then it's better to mind your own business and divert your energy to more productive things. No need for your ethnocentric view. Sharia and Boko Haram bullshit causing so much problems started with little prejudices like this. |
ScamHunter:Okay o. Na U.S. wey share intelligence report give you go tell. |
Where id the big intelligence in this? Isn't it logical that if the Boko Haram guys can't be stopped up North, they'll spreading their dragnet as far and wide as possible? Anytime Buhari comes out to say Boko Haram has been technically defeated, just know they are expanding. First to the North West, then to North Central. South West should be next before South East. Just watch out for Buhari's signal. |
Mammangaddafi:Thanks for the compliment. I'm not a doctor. Into HR. |
Mainlymanof:Why not visit a doctor to know how to go about this. First, it must be established if the cause of your condition is anatomical, physiological, psychological or behavioural. A compromise to the nerves supplying the penis can lead to your problem. Use of certain drugs may alter your body physiological makeup leading to such problem. Mental block is also a plausible cause and usually the most common cause. Lastly, behavioural practices like excessive masturbation and over-reliance on explicit materials for arousal can cause delayed ejaculation. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any drug that can help hasten ejaculation. The good news is that if the problem is psychological or behavioural, it can be well-managed by the doctors. When worse come to worse, delayed ejaculation doesn't necessarily mean you don't produce viable sperms. In vitro fertilization can help in making babies. All in all, visit a good hospital and talk frankly to the doctor's. There is little NLanders can do to help. |
maasoap:It may not be constitutional but it may also not be illegal for a party to design means of pruning down candidates. The exam shouldn't stop anyone from contesting. It should just an advisory to the party. Aside that, there is always room for test of legality, room in other parties and independent candidature. Ameachi became Rivers governor through test of legality in the law court. No one voted him in. If an individual is truly popular, he doesn't have to bother with any party rules. Just seek other platforms. Obaseki did in Edo and Ortom did same in Benue. |
Nice idea. However, I wish for two things; 1. For the test to be designed to weigh managerial ability, economical proficiency and political sagacity as against test of proficiency in English and level of exposure. 2. For test papers and marking scheme be published so that everyone can see that these are truly the suitable candidates as against just releasing names and scores that could have been manipulated to favour some of the candidates. All in all, a nice move from El Rufai. We are tired of having dullards at helms of affairs concerning our everyday living. |
